    That's a great tent that gets over looked, that's perfect for large families. 👌🏾 very nice setup.

    Yes!! Magnificent build!! Surprising the client did not option a larger or aux hidden fuel tank, and the front bumper with a loop to protect the radiator, from yak strike. Question: has TAV installed any Starlink systems in a build like this?

    • @TAVLLC
      @TAVLLC  3 месяца назад

      Thanks! To answer your question not to the full extent, but they are coming. We will be working with @themountingcompany on something they have coming for future Starlink builds.

    Very clean and well done Tundra. Does TAV do the Eaton E locker installation?

    You guys re geared me to 4.88s on 37 mud terrains, I also have glass fenders and bed sides. What are your thoughts about going back down to 35s?… purely for mileage and range. I know it will not look nearly as good. Thanks gents.

    Awesome. Line x over the wrap?

    • @TAVLLC
      @TAVLLC  8 месяцев назад +1

      Nah the line x was done first and then the wrap was brought down to it.

    Absolutely love this build! Check out my 2020 Tundra. Always more to add!

    How do you keep the hood bulge from unclipping itself from the hood in strong winds? On mine it seems like the stock grill piece held it together and the 3 snap push pins guys aren't strong enough on their own.

    Is it true that they dropped the transmission cooler on the Tundra after 2018? If so, is that why you guys picked this model year?

    • @TAVLLC
      @TAVLLC  8 месяцев назад +1

      I have heard that about the Tundras and the trans color but that's not why we built this one. The customer supplied the truck and we built it. Transmission coolers can be added later though if you need one.

    I’m curious to why you have the exhaust cut or shortened at the length it’s cut or shortened. Iv noticed this in multiple builds you guys did. the exhaust is shortened about the same. What’s the reasoning?

    • @TAVLLC
      @TAVLLC  2 месяца назад +1

      The stock exhaust exits the side of the truck underneath the stock leaf spring. The new leaf springs we use droop out far enough to contact the exhaust tip so we just trim it off so they don’t make contact with each other.

    What material do you guys use to make the custom fender liners? And where do you source them from?

    Hey Walt.
    What was the total cost of the build, without the cost of the truck? thanks

    • @TAVLLC
      @TAVLLC  8 месяцев назад +1

      we don't talk about build cost online as each one is personalized and there is so much going on. If you are interested in a build shoot us an email and we can get a conversation started.

      This build looks to be at least 50k and that's being generous

    • @DOUGIECHAINSAW
      @DOUGIECHAINSAW 7 месяцев назад

      The supercharger alone in Canada is roughly 12k. Plus as Walt mentioned in a previous video.... About 2 days to install. This is very accurate as you want it done right. The going rate for a red seal mechanic in British Columbia is between 150-190hr. If you do $170 X 18 hours you are around 3k just in labour.

    Very nice build. But when spending so much money, why not go for a proper battery system instead of one of those camping power stations? Imagine if you get some problems with it, it will be a pin to fix. Especially if planning to travel to remote places.

    • @TAVLLC
      @TAVLLC  4 месяца назад +3

      Thank you. He chose this battery setup because he’s in Mongolia and if there was a problem with the auxiliary battery he can literally unplug it and put in a new one. It’s the simplest, cheapest and quickest way to fix that problem. Besides, all it needs to do is run a couple of accessories.
