- Honestly the first time I saw the skipper do that I screamed so loud 🙈😂
The skippers didn’t get uniform costumes similar to the ones we know today until the 1970s. Shoutout to my Distory with Kate & Kirk podcast co-host @walruscarp for pointing out this unique aspect of the skipper’s wardrobe during our current series on the Jungle Cruise 👕
And truthfully… the hippo’s tusks tidbit is not technically “shocking”, more just a little interesting, but I wanted to throw it in there anyway, because who doesn’t love some good Jungle Cruise hippo footage 🦛

I applied to drive for the jungle cruise once! I failed because apparently you’re supposed to go behind the waterfall not through it.
BRO THAT WOULD BE AWESOME
💀
Lmao I would 100% do that if it didn't have a track
They should have hired you. It takes great skill to get a ride of off the tracks.
I love the instrumental version of Anything Goes in the background
Looks like that guy was pissed at the kid lol
I think it was Steve Allen and his kids. Probably was done waiting for their photo shoot to be over so he could get on with his day haha
Love jungle cruise 😊
Be carful not to fall it’s a fire hazard, you trip I laugh and I get fired.
Underrated comment
I wonder why they made the hippo tusks so wonky?
Good old day of Disney .
Anything goes
I’ve never been more shocked….
I thought that was just a movie, it’s a real thing?
uh. yeah? the jungle cruise rude was the ride that INSPIRED the movie.
the ride came first, than the movie.
the jungle cruise *ride* has been opened since July 17th, 1955. while the jungle cruise *movie* came out in 2021. so yes. the jungle cruise is a real thing, and has been for many years before the movie was.
@@BILLCIPHER8 oh ok i just didn’t know
@@BloomingRose438 that's alright.
when it said "it's this" I thought it'd show when they used to shoot at animals with a gun
don't they still do that?
They usually shoot into the air/bushes now
Those were wild times 😂
@@totally_tiredddd I didn’t know they still did but in california, though the video I saw they skip the shot and just waved the gun saying “shoo go away”
