Thanks Lane, I have been watching many youtube videos to help understand my gender dysphoria, and you are the person that I relate to the most.

Thank you for this video. It was so helpful especially mentioning WPATH 7.0 which is inclusive of non gender conforming folks. I have my appt with a Gender PSYCH to get the ball rolling on my Own NB transition (FTN-B ). Definitely want T, hope it is right for me medically. Def going to get top surgery as soon as I can. Thanks for sharing there are others who are NB and transition out there.

Hey :) Are you still on T? I had top surgery a couple of years ago and have taken my time considering whether T is right for me as a nonbinary afab person. First T shot of 100mg tomorrow... very nervous!

Does all this advice apply to someone who is AMAB and wants to go on estrogen? Of course the body changes will be different, but besides that, is everything the same?

I'm entertaining the idea of T after I get my top surgery because I absolutely LOVE masculine traits and would love to have a super masculine body but I do not identify as male or don't identify with manhood. Cons for me, I'll be honest - not interested in facial hair, loss of hair, change in smell and all.
Possible to achieve some level of masculinity without going full way? Like very small dosages?

pamoonblackbird As far as I know, it's not preventable. But if you really don't want facial hair (and don't want to be sentenced to a lifetime worth of shaving) your options would either be waxing (affordable) or laser hair removal (which can be pretty expensive and takes multiple sessions).
Many individuals who grow facial hair prefer to wax it, and it seems to work incredibly well for them, so that should be something to consider.
