The top hatch on the back is actually for a small flying vehicle released around the same time. I think it's called the MTT Scout Flyer or something like that.
I think the best part about this is unlike the Falcon and the AT-AT, there has NEVER been a MTT Tank before, in fact I remember working on a Phantom Menace display long before this came out and was sad this didn't exist. Now it's a proud part of the collection along with the GIANT Naboo Cruiser from the PM line.
Man I remember back when I was a kid I would only dream of something liek this, not only I couldn't afford it but when you got the big sets, there would be an army of droids or wtv on the box but when you open it, they give you one.. Nice to see you get more figures now a days.
Watching from the sci-fi future of 2022, the MTT would be fun in JazWares' new Micro Galaxy vehicle and mini figures, but only if it comes with dozens of micro droids and retains some opening and closing features. Luckily, the Micro Galaxy vehicles do lots of opening and closing figures. They're also sorta close to being in scale (mostly).
I wish there was a button when you would bring out the droids you here a whole group of them saying Droid: GO GO GO Droid: LETS MOVE IN Droid: ATTACK! Droid: ROGER ROGER Droid: Hutt Hutt Hutt Hutt Droid: LETS GO LETS GO
The second time you deployed the droids, I said "that's is really cool", same time you said it. Just a funny moment I thought I would share. Great vehicle and awesome review as always.
Turbo Tank in 2008 mad 2009. I own all three of these vehicles and I hope to buy the new ATAT and Millenium Falcon to replace my old 90's ones. Keep up the great reviews.
Another excellent review, Dan. I would like to ask a question: in almost all your reviews, you never mention the price point for the toys. Is that deliberate? While I know that it's information that is readily available, I think that it's something that should be mentioned in the review itself, especially in a cost versus value comparison.
Hey Dan,Great review, but I have to correct you on something. This is actually the 6th big vehicle,we had the Big Falcon and AT-TE in 2008,the Turbo Tank(aka Juggernaut) in 2009,the AT-AT in 2010,the Republic Assault shuttle in 2011 and now the MTT. I have most of these and I LOVE the Falcon the best, keep up the great work.
I would submit that it is entirely within the purview of a reviewer's job to say if something is worth the price, especially when it comes to items with a high sticker price. You're absolutely correct when you say that, ultimately, the decision is going to be up to the consumer. However, it is important to note that a review is always going to be someone's subjective opinion on a product.
You are correct that there is always going to be some level of subjectivity to any review based on the reviewers preferences, but at least IMO the more you can limit that the better the review is going to be. There are basic characteristics for most toys one can go by like whether a paint job is sloppy, A figure has good articulation or if there is a glaring error that should be point out. When it comes to value though, that is something that tends to be very subjective...
I think I have the vintage naboo star fighter, darth maul, obi wan, qui gon, padme, Anakin, r2, battle droid and jar jar. They came with plates with voice chips inside them.
Hasbro should be building large Vehicles for the GI Joe line also. I think the Joe line needs a shot in the arm . But most of all they need to get kids and most of all collectors interested in the line again. I have never had any star wars toys. Yes i maybe the only toy collector who has ever said that. But i always thought they had awesome toys. I saw this MTT in TRU and my jaw dropped. I thought it was 1 of the coolest toys i had seen in a long time. Waiting for a good sale to make this mine.
This is what is so good about G.I. Joe and Star Wars.. They are the best when it comes to vehicles and playsets.. I wish MOTU Classics would make us more vehicles and playsets..
I got this and literally right when I took them out ALL of the battle droids heads fell off so I had to super glue them on. Now they have exactly 1 point of articulation. That's the worst articulation I've had on a figure. Yay me
THIS is actually a cool toy, even though I care nothing about battle droids or their vehicles. I'm pleasantly surprised by Hasbro which hasn't happened for a LONG time.
I don't want to put words in Dan's mouth but the job of a reviewer isn't really to tell you that you should or shouldn't buy something or if it's worth the price. That is something that is subjective on a person-to-person basis. A reviewers job is to show you the product, point out features and/or possible flaws and then it's up to you to decide if its worth buying or not once you have that information.
@@lucasbarry6271 ..Yes, it is the first "high end" collector focused item that Hasbro is putting out under their new "Haslab" online program. It's 4 feet long, has cloth sails and comes with a Jabba and a carded Saelt Marea (Yak Face) on a tri-logo cardback with collector coin (like he had in the 80's). It was $500 plus shipping. It was sort of a crowd funded thing, where they would only make it if over 5000 people paid up front. I was one of those people (It got up to 8000 something.) It's probably over priced, but I had to have it. :)
Dan love the energy. My first time seeing your channel. Great production. At first glance of this toy I thought you were spoofing the Kenner line. I thought it was a homemade cardboard creation. FYI if you look alot like Joe Rogan back in the day, so for Halloween grab a baldcap and fake tattoos and your set. Keepup the good work. 👍 🦏☕☕☕🦏
Idk why I’m here, I could be playing my Xbox or doing stuff outside but instead I watch a 7 year old review of something I wish I had when I was a kid.
It reminds me of the Mobile Command Center, with a Bizarro world flavor. I'm also seeing this in black, with red and some yellow highlights, transporting B.A.T.s.
Just ordered mine from ebay, which is pretty weird as I'm 57. Mint in sealed box, just hoping electronics all OK as obviously been in box for years. Can't believe how much i just paid for a kids toy

holy shit, it would be a dream if i had this toy when i was a kid
Better yet we have them when we're adults
TRUE
+Kai kiske sammet you are rude
+Kai kiske sammet oh baby baby would have had some great battles with this thing when I was young
8bossbunny 1 what r u like 12

Post a video of your display?
+Octo I think there was one released back in 1999. Still the lego version could always have been used lol.
Octo Plays I
wasn't the AT-TE by Hasbro a large scale prequel vehicle too?
+ASkywalker91 I think he means special release. IE the anniversery edition of the AtAt and falcon. Mtt was a special release.
Kind of late watching this, but you just made me buy one!
Pretty crazy I just found one of this in our closet still brand new sealed 😮
Man I remember back when I was a kid I would only dream of something liek this, not only I couldn't afford it but when you got the big sets, there would be an army of droids or wtv on the box but when you open it, they give you one.. Nice to see you get more figures now a days.
It only has wheels for the for toy. The actual one in the film hovers. So its a repulsor lift sound effect.
Yeah, You'll even find that in LEGO Too, just for help or whatever I guess, It's manual you have to hover
I remember seeing this in the toy store luckily I got the clone wars ship so I still had one of these big things but I always wanted one of these

Haha , that "basic" Obi-Wan is still better than any of the TFA figures...
+Nebuloid1 I hope the movie doesn't compare the same
Actually no the TFA figures have great detail, but bad articulation
Plus that's offensive to me
***** Revenge of the Sith era articulation, has always been my favorite.
Exactly, look at Kylo Ren's lightsaber it's so fragile.
I saw that the battle droids on the box has storm trooper blaster
well they do look similar and in universe are made by the same company (B1 has E5, storm trooper has E11)
I remember getting the AT-AT and Falcon for Christmas... oh the memories!
I like how you are so enthusiastic
08:56
RIP KEVIN’S GUN
The MTT is my favourite vehicle and this is a perfect representation of it. Added to my list :)
I love these Star Wars vehicles.

Droid: GO GO GO
Droid: LETS MOVE IN

What a about I just got promoted
The second time you deployed the droids, I said "that's is really cool", same time you said it. Just a funny moment I thought I would share. Great vehicle and awesome review as always.
I had the other big ones but I wish I had this one
my kind of women! cool...
😍
With all this star wars craze nowadays (disney+ and new movie),if hasbro rereleases all these vehicles they will be great success.
That is AWESOME!!! The retractable droid deployment feature just got me sold on this! I gotta have one!
Did you ever get one?
at 8:56 the droid at the very back drops its blaster lol
That droid was part of an ARVN unit. I can get you crates of those blasters. Never been fired.Only dropped once.lmao!!!

I meant the price for the large-scale vehicles and playsets. The prices for these are usually pretty consistent across various retailers.
I really like the way you set out your videos
my dream toy when i was a kid
This Tank is amazing!! Also $200 here in Puerto Rico!
Thank you for this great review.
AWESOME! Well done. I'm sad I missed this :(
That is so cool I love the dioids coming out of the MTT
Brother, 2022, even, and you sold me on this ...
I got the milinium falcon for like, 10 dollars at a thrift store. I never realized it was worth so much
Lucky!!!

wow good first impressions on this model made me laugh. good old B1's
You forgot about the Turbo Tank in 2009 & AT-TE in 2008! Best review on youtube man :)

I wonder what giant toy will come out for 2014. Also i kinda like Jar Jar. He's funny and kinda fearless
15:05 you can get one other set to sitt on that lid and shoot away

wasn't qui gon jinn in the phantom menace
Now THAT would be cool,oh yeah have this baby in red and black with a BIG Cobra logo on the side and loaded up with CGs.Cool idea.
It really looks cool I like it alot
As you say prices is public knowledge and not to mention often times is something that varies from retailer to retailer.
Awesome review Dan!
Damn i don't have much room left but now i might have to pick this sucker up.
NEED to get me one of these for Xmas. If I just got that and the new TFA Black series figures, I'd be a happy camper. XD
that looks amazing!
you'll be really cool for my stop motions
Can you open and close the Droid figure compartment without power or batteries?
You should set up a war
Hopefully we'll get a sail barge some time but idk if hasbro is doing a big vechicle this year after the poor sales of this one.
I wish this would still be sold
How much was it
I got this and literally right when I took them out ALL of the battle droids heads fell off so I had to super glue them on. Now they have exactly 1 point of articulation. That's the worst articulation I've had on a figure. Yay me
How tall are the battle droids, will the set work with black series?
THIS is actually a cool toy, even though I care nothing about battle droids or their vehicles. I'm pleasantly surprised by Hasbro which hasn't happened for a LONG time.
Sometimes, but especially this time of year you can likely find an item like this on sale.
Best part of the whole video is when Obi Wan just fuckin wrecks 20 battle droids Lmao! Cool video.
My friend has one of those and it is awesome!
Thanks Dan! Now I have to go buy 1

arrgh that one droid dropped his blaster and its all I could look at.
"The first prequel trilogy based large Star Wars vehicle" what about the 2009 AT-TE?
Great video. I am on the verge of buying this cuz i am an action figure fanboy, i think you covered a lot of impotant details.
Shouldn't there be a safety feature that stops the retracting if the sides are not pushed in. Just seems like such a simple solution...
I never saw these at the store
Very cool toy!
Nice review!
has anyone beside me noticed on the box design the droids have stormtrooper blasters
This is not a human, this is tape recorder, he can talk non-stop
How is it we get prequel toy junk like this, but not a good Sandcrawler or Jabba's Sail Barge?
My Sail Barge arrives in February. :)
@@steverino6954 they came out with one?!?!?!

I want this MTT so bad.
really cool set
how tall is the Battle Droids?
I think the MTT would look great in Cobra Crimson Guard colors..
This toy is on clearance at toys r us right now 60% off for $44 instead of $110
The back is for the small ship for the mtt
awsome review and awsome toy
Idk why I’m here, I could be playing my Xbox or doing stuff outside but instead I watch a 7 year old review of something I wish I had when I was a kid.
I WANT TO BUY THIS!!!
I agree. But I do like this as well. But like you said...A Sail Barge would have been better.
You should do some stop motion videos
It reminds me of the Mobile Command Center, with a Bizarro world flavor. I'm also seeing this in black, with red and some yellow highlights, transporting B.A.T.s.
Can you take out the racks manually?
Pixel Dan! Can Stormtroopers fit in it?
where did you got this
Just ordered mine from ebay, which is pretty weird as I'm 57. Mint in sealed box, just hoping electronics all OK as obviously been in box for years. Can't believe how much i just paid for a kids toy
When is the next blindbag mini figure madness
I know it is sucky they are pre-posed but at the same time it's not like the battle droids have tonks of articulation.
I can agree with what you have said. Well met, good sir.
I didn't think Episode 1 was particularly toyetic!
Good joke!
I like the box !
That looks better than the package art shows. I have the 2007 Lego MTT at the time there was no Hasbro version. This looks equal to the Lego version.
8:56 it dropped the blaster lol
That droid was part of an ARVN unit. I can get you crates of those blasters. Never been fired.Only dropped once. lmao!!!
I just grabbed this MIB
I want this so bad
how much does it cost???
also the MTT is the first big Hasbro toy centered around the separatists
