I just bought a '23 Nightster S with 500 mi on it. I'm picking up the bike this Saturday. It's my first street bike. This motorcycle addiction I just rekindled is going to save my life from a life long drug and alcohol addiction! Got to get me a Milwaukee 8 though ASAP though! Street glide 4sure!!
Picked mine up a couple of weeks ago, check out the custom rider modes, they can be made to be more aggressive than sport mode. Also under the seat are two pre-wired connectors for heated gear and of course the trickle charger connector. Tonnes to enjoy this with this bike. With the HD app you can check your fuel level on your phone. Also if you do any night riding, the led lighting is phenomenal. Enjoy !
Congratulations Brother Good luck on your journey
Congratulations, you will love it and you won’t want an M8 after riding one of these you’ll smoke one of them
Welcome back brotha.
Congratulations. health is more important.
Damn a Harley with modern tech. I hope this one sticks and the aftermarket grows.
Just when you thought HD was nothing but hot coals, Kruesi comes along and pours gasoline all over the Nightster 🔥. Gen X might be on PAs and RGs but this is going to hit with the younger crowd who can’t tolerate the insurance on R’6s. This is big. Harley, when you see that spike in sales, I’m sure Ryan wouldn’t mind a Rolex Daytona as a token of appreciation. This is the best marketing you could imagine.
I'm glued to this because I want an aftermarket
It’s coming
You got my attention when you said early model Dyna with a Pan America motor... Finally saw one of these in the wild and I have to admit they are pretty slick outside the show room.
I like seeing stuff like this. It’s nice that I can just Google how to make my twincam into an absolute unit and buy everything from one website. but there’s something about cracking open a vehicle, not having a damn clue what you’re looking at, and learning to make more power that’s just great.
How excited this bike makes you happy all the revving noises from your mouth every time you play with that nightster
I’m real pumped on it
Woah, that's a cool "tank" lol. Man that opens up a whole market of custom tank covers
I'm taking a shot every time I hear, "Hey Trent"! 😂😂
hahaha, hell yeah
My god can you be anymore of a sell out fan boy for motor company. Damn ryan you have changed up for worse.
😂😂 that’s a great game
@@DanBeanner-zo3msbro give it a rest. Im surprised you have so much time to comment this on every video
This will be my 3 bike in garage for me. Picked it up just because it water cooled & not air cooled. 🤣
Just need aftermarket part for it now
They are coming
Kruesi Originals revolutionary theory❤
😁😁
Damn you KRUESI for making me want a Nightster!
dont do it. got rid of mine for good reason. the thing has more problems than early 2000s pop stars
Dyna*
What’s the good reason that you got rid of it?
Yeah let’s hear those reasons, and what year the bike was
Me too 😊, but why did they design the engine so ugly? The V Rod engine looks so much better
I literally just bought a brand new 23 rh975s because of you. I can’t wait to see what you do, cause I’m following your big goofy ass into this adventure.
Hell yes, how do you like riding it?
I'm really looking forward to seeing how changing those velocity stacks inside the airbox affects things. I put the velocity stack intake on mine because I thought the screaming eagle heavy breather looked like it would get in the way of my leg too much.
It definitely does
Hell ya. I love how you guys are doing the mods. Helps me a lot on what I can do.
More coming
So happy you guys are getting the after market going for the nightster!!
Big G'day Team Kruesi from Down Under 🇦🇺

May all your days be Harley days
Safe travels 🙏♥️💛🐾🐾🇦🇺
Pick up my 2023 nightster S from dealer next week trading in my MT07 for it also have a 1998 dyna and 2022 lowrider s can’t wait to add this bike to the collection just bought some bung king crash bars front and rear along with their riser blocks…. Looking into Fahrunn performance exhaust in my opinion looks and sounds the best they have out right now
I test rode one when they were new. It didn’t speak to me much. But now I want to ride one again. lol
I have a 2024 nightster did you have to tune the bike adding the intake?
I have seen some guy in Tyland...they modified one of this and put an lowrider st fairing and used a modified softail gastank to make the new airbox cover
You’re the second one to tell me about this guy I would love to see some pictures. I heard he made some good power too.
@@kruesioriginals ruclips.net/video/-zeLJAotuWQ/видео.htmlsi=1YON-NfL6Lb-U4h6
Awesome you’re talking on this bike, can’t to see how the comes out and everything you make for it.
I've been watching and talking myself out of going to look at one. I give up....I'm going tomorrow, and if I know me......I'll have one.
Just ride one
Ryan , is such a great guy
Im waiting to do my intake to see what the difference in runners does. Im loving my nightster s, have about 1,000 miles on it
This guy is doing stuff to Nightsters and he released a video two hours ago? Subscibed. I want to see what those velocity stacks do, I'm tempted to try and 3d print a few out of TPU.
We’re gonna find out when we get back from Sturgis and we have some more time
@@kruesioriginals Excellent. Eagerly awaiting the results. Have fun in Sturgis!
I ride a 23 nightster, such a fun bike. You dont even need to clutch up to ride a wheelie.
That’s a fact
88 Wowzers fPT , and very interested in those stacks ! I’ve been glued to this build since I bought mine lol try the knobies on it hood fun works
As
Beast scrambler
Here in Thailand we managed to tuned this thing to the moon. With just an intake and a slip-on the bike can do 100 hp at the wheel. The top speed can go over 120 mph pretty easily.
I'd love to see that wow
That’s perfect horsepower for what I wanna do. We’re going to tune our when we get back from Sturgis.
I'd be a little worried about tuning the 975. I feel like it's pretty much as strung out as it can be. I just have a feeling the rods won't handle more.
@@marathonrefrigeration9593 How so? The metric bikes gets much more power out of smaller or similar engines. Look at the duke 890, 990, MT09 etc. 120hp from a 975 twin shouldn't be an issue.
Pro tip: set up that custom ride mode... Copy the setup from Sport mode... Then turn UP the throttle response. There's 2 more steps higher than sport offers....
I don’t want anymore throttle response, if anything I would like to turn that down a little bit and make it smoother
Is it reasonable to even hope to get 120HP with just velocity stacks and a tune? That's a 30% increase over the stock 90HP. Genuinely curious, because I've never tuned any of my bikes. I've got the Pan America Special, the Sportster S, and the Nightster Special, and the Nightster *might* be my favorite (although it obviously can't replace the Pan Am). Glad I found this channel recently! 👍😊
That’s just rumors through the grapevine. I haven’t seen it personally. So we’re gonna try and prove it. I know you can make 100 wheel horsepower with a slip on exhaust and intake by tuning it with stock velocity stacks.
Not to be that guy but the nightser has a 975cc and the Pan America has the 1250cc. I'm assuming it's just a topend swap away from being a 1250 but I'm just guessing
Ryan talking about increasing the size of his rig by sticking it in the rig was actually hilarious
Looks like they used a sportbike style air flow design under the “tank”. With secondary butterflies I always removed them for better throttle response and not choking the bike down on my zx10&14’s. Not sure if they can be taken out like Kawasaki’s by removing a couple screws. With them removed I would think it wouldn’t restrict air flow.
The intake and gas tank setup reminds me of the VRod.
This bike is going to be a fckn monster. That whole airbox situation seems so weird to me.
Always reminded me of the old tube fram buells.
Speaking of Erik, your thoughts on new "buell"
Definitely does remind me of those. And Eric has absolutely nothing to do with that company whatsoever. It is owned by a Chinese conglomerate that just bought his name.
@kruesioriginals oh trust me, I shit talk them all day on fb haha. The BEST THING they have is Jacob Stark, and Dean Adam's. Those two have been in the buell game for Hella long.
@@kruesioriginals there is no Erik, so it's bull(shit)
Big Raminar Dixxon fan
The velocity stacks would require tuning to not run like crap. Typically the longer ones provide power earlier vs shorter stacks.
Really curious what power you can get out of these, I know my ass already slides off the seat past 3/4 throttle, I definitely need a seat like that one.
Wouldn't be surprised if another 20HP comes from a muffler, a velocity stack and a chip-tune.
Are the ECU unlocked on those? The secondary blades probably closing the throttle early, even at WOT. This bike should be sick with some aftermarket support.
Trask performance can tune it and they’re going to tune our when we get back from Sturgis
@@kruesioriginals I'll damn near eat my shoes if they can do it. Had a kid upset his stage 2 1200 made less power than the stock (silencer ~ 4hp per dyno) nightster, imagine if it puts down big bike power.
my 04 superglide was one of my favourites. love me a proper dyna - keen to see where this one goes.
Friend, this is a sportster not a Dyna
@@NoXQc You obviously didn't watch the previous videos where the dimensions are almost exactly of that of a Dyna but with way more performance.
He said all the rake and trail, and lean angles were almost exactly the same as the dyna
@@mclaughing1786 cherry picking. How many time did he call it a sportster ? Like 100x ‘ I can’t believe this is a sportster’ he said that like 100x
@@NoXQc not according to Kruesi ;)
You should make stickers or something that says, DyNightster
Hmm, gas tank under seat, air box under tank cover...... I might be crazy, but this is a cross between the Vrod and Dyna. I mean, like i said last time, even the exhaust note with the slip on yall made, it sounds like a Vrod. I bet with the high flow intake and possible shorter velocity stacks, it will make loud intake noise.
Definitely has some V Rod vibes, but it’s definitely more of a Buell
this is quickly turning into a Super Cruiser haha
I think one of the reasons people are holding back from this bike is fuel capacity. I want a liquid cooled with al least 4 Gallon tank from HD.
The fuel capacity is indeed a limiting factor. My wife got a 23 nightster for her first bike to learn on, and now that we are taking longer rides together, its lack of legs (so to speak) is showing.
Nice little bike, though. More power than my 114 Road Glide and loaded with features
Alot of this bike/motor comes from the Vrod. It has a very similar setup.
Are you really thinking this is the future motor for bikes? Harley thought they’d sell the bike making it look like a “dyna” frame and really people just haven’t been comfortable with this motor and after market parts . Is this motor the future ?
Watching these Nightster videos like a Hawk, there isn't shit for them aftermarket.
Harley should definitely sponsor you because these can be the next early model Dyna or FXR
Ramanour Dixon,good one 😂😂😂
My 2019 FTR is set up the Same way gas tank is air box gas tank is underneath the seat
Some straight up v rod shit
Do these have a full frame or is it a stressed engine? and would that affect stunting?
No frame just a motor and it affects stunting by making the bike a lot more rigid and nimble easier to handle and lighter much much much much lighter
@@kruesioriginals Sounds dope!
I have so many questions! Is there cams for this? Anybody that ports heads? Is any of that even needed with this bike? I would love to see this thing make 120hp with such minimal upgrades. Could save you thousands in motor work the typical bike needs to make power. Exhaust, intake, velocity stacks, tune…120 hp ripper!
Try it out first. Test ride at a Harley dealer. If it's a Nightster S, set up a custom mode with aggressive throttle response , you'll be shocked.
Probably a stupid question but we're the gas go under the seat?
Yes sir
So are the engine decorative covers going to be taken off for this build?
Those aren't covers. The engine cases are magnesium. Sport bike tech
Didn't realize that.@@super16g123
The engine is all metal , the stand side vee is where the over head cam chains go through.
now I'm curious what my pan america looks like under the tank since the fuel tank actually is above all that
Did you use red or blue loktite for the air breather
Read on the big bolts they are frame supports. And proper torque spec.
Is the second channel up yet??
Coming after Sturgis
Two long tubes shaped like a forearm feed the central box... By ram Air... To feed my BMW GS 😎
Why don't you rip around on it stock?.. You seem to be a madman that can ride anything so giddy up 🤠
I ripped all over on the thing when it was stock. I have videos of it on our RUclips the first one in the series. It’s an amazing motorcycle. But the stock exhaust is too long to make the rear suspension any taller so it had to go quick.
Surprised i didnt hear a "ramrod" joke about the ram air intake haha.
Where the hell do you put the gas
It’s slightly too small to call a dyna I think. If they made one that was a little bit bigger/taller it would be a game changer.
The nightster is the 975 the panamerica is the 1250.
“A lengthener”
How fast do you need to be going before that ram air starts to work, 120 mph?
1 mph
4:52 Keith ramnour & Jon dicksin.
Ramnour Dicksin 😂😂😂😂. Effective a 1 mph….
I thought the Pan American was a 1200..??
Engine is just a couple of cute little space robots holding hands
Does anyone know what milwaukee impact that kruesi is always using? I know hes got a snap on one in this video but just looking for that milwaukee model
That would be snap on, sir
@@kruesioriginals right on thanks!
I would love to see Harley do the "stage" lots for the new liquid cooled bikes. The Sportster S for example makes 121hp with the same 1250 as the Pan America which makes 150hp, so the chance to make power out of them is there. A stage 3 Sportster S with the Pan America heads/tune making 150+hp would be insane, and they already have the parts to upgrade said motors. It would be nice if they don't have the upgrades as "stages" tho because that's gay😂
I’m confused where is the gas tank
Under the seat I believe. Provided more balance and handling to the bike compared to original sportster that are top heavy
I caught that fuckin trailer park boys reference at the end shitbird
Pan America has the 1252cc 150hp Motor
So where's the dang fuel tank?
Under the seat.
Hwherr does that gas go?
Under the seat
just needs the revolution max 1250 in there instead
Maybe if they do a nightster 1250
You can always tell when someone’s never rode one of these, it’s when they say they should’ve put a 1250 in it
@@kruesioriginals your right, I haven't ridden the nightster 975 and wouldn't unless somebody offered theirs. Both My hammer kitted sportsters outrun my buddies sportster s up to eighty or so then he starts to pull up on me. I don't ride much over a hundred so I'm good there, my sportbike days took care of that. But my vrod is slightly faster but heavy and not as agile. I just think Harley needs to produce the 1250 nightster to head off this Buell supercruiser that's coming out. I would be interested in a nightster 1250 as I'm looking forward to the Buell. I love the fast, lighter cruisers Thank you for your response. Love your content.

try just removing the stacks as well
No you need those, they create velocity
An adventure? Didn't you just release a video about you "HAVE" to get a manual. And those who didn't need one, you said "Didn't know any better?"
Say what? I have manual

It’s like the big girl you bring home after too many beers. The regret is kicking in.
I got very disappointed when I saw the second filter get put on. I thought it was really going to be a ram air setup.
The one inside the box was removed
What are you talking about? Did you watch the video?
Step it up with a bigger engine swap 👍
Definitely not going to do that. Got more power than needed
👍
🤘🏽
Harley should just call it the Revo engine, it's so awkward saying Revolution Max
‘A lengthener’ 💀
It’s a false tank but it’s a great place for your feminine hygiene supplies 💃

😅 Yeah it's my first time. Please be gentle
How much did hd pay Ryan bro is glazing
Seeing how much easier it is to remove the "tank" on the Nightster in comparison to my Pan America is kind of infuriating. It's like they were picking teams and the Nightster crew got 1st pick. Chad N.G. Neer- the best air-box designer in the biz. Meanwhile, the Pan America crew were left with Sloppy Ronnie- the fat kid who always has a runny nose and is picked last for everything. Dammit.
RamNrDixon 😂😂
😮 torx what is it a BMW😂
Yes… it’s a badass bike… but it’s for short folks… anyone above 5’ 10” looks stupid riding one because Harley just makes bikes for the average…
It’s a drag Krusi…
I’m not a Bear on a bike … but it is a circus out there..!!!
Crazy how your just figuring out the new gen sportster is a better stunt bike then the dynas....the sportys have ALWAYS been the better stunt bike LMAO. 😊
Sportsters are 100% not better stunt bikes than dynas in anyway shape or form.
I think the new Nightster could be a good stunt bike. Better than a early model Dyna I don’t know that yet. It’s a whole lot different than any other Harley before it.
@kruesioriginals sportsers have in fact always been the better stunt bike. Hard facts bud don't kid yourself.
Telling the guy who does stunts on bikes what the better stunt bike is 🤔😂
