I’m always happy to hear about upcoming books, but I’m afraid I don’t review self-published books and can only accept a small number of books for review. Where is your accent from?
I was born and raised in the Netherlands, studied English Lit at Leiden University (also in the Netherlands), studied in the US for 3 months and have lots of American friends. I'm definitely not Irish or Canadian, I promise!
Where do you live?
I live in London and have been here for 4 years now.
How did you get into publishing?
I did publishing work experience, did a lot of networking and learned everything I know about social media from creating and running this channel. (P.s. You don't necessarily have to study Publishing or English to get a job in publishing!).
You two have to return to "Bonnie Scotland" you only scratched the surface, there will always be a warm and heartfelt welcome for people as genuine and respectful as you two..Scotland and the Netherlands two countries in love with each other people's..
Posting this as I'm packing for a second trip to Scotland (this was about 3 weeks ago) and I can't wait to be back! Thanks for all your lovely recommendations for this to do in both cities and I hope you enjoy seeing what we got up to.

Thank you for posting this. Scotland is my favorite country to visit and Edinburgh is my absolutely favorite city in the world. I visit every year at Christmas time. You should visit in December when the Botanical Gardens does a light installation. It is absolutely stunning!
You are one lucky lady!! I live in America and I hope to be able to travel to the UK, Scotland, Ireland sometime in the near future. Your room in the Hotel Indigo looks beyond amazing and those BOOKS...Omg to die for!! I'd just want to snuggle up in my room and read the whole trip lol. Gorgeous footage and thank you for sharing! Yay Scotland - I’m a Weegie (from Glasgow) but I’m half in Edinburgh at the moment. Love seeing people visit. Finally explored more of Scotland myself this year and did the North Coast 500. Would recommend for amazing scenery :)

So lovely to see you exploring my home country! Hope you've enjoyed your second trip too. If you're ever thinking of a third trip you would definitely love St Andrews! They're opening a new V&A Design museum nearby in my hometown Dundee as well this Autumn. It's a totally underrated part of the country!

You definitely pronounce Glasgow with a kind of American accent. I always tell people to visit the kelvingrove, it’s one of my fav places in the city.
I visited Scotland for the first time a few months ago. One of the highlights was doing the Potter Trail (though difficult in a wheelchair). The literary tour also appeals to me so would love to know if it's wheelchair friendly for next time.
Tamara, my husband and I went on the Edinburgh writers walking tour when we visited this past January. We met the group at the Writer's Museum and headed out from there. I don't recall having to climb any stairs as we only looked at the buildings from the outside. It involved a lot of crossing of streets (with the attendant cobblestones) and going up and down hilly parts of the Old Town. where you able to see the Ramsey Castle when you where in Edinburgh?? Beautiful place. that is where me and my wife stayed for a week of our honeymoon.
