Honestly I agree with a lot of your hot take on this subject My personal opinion on hits would be Restricted to 1 both Ukkomons Restrict to 1 NumeX and/or MonzaeX Restrict to 1 Awakening of the golden knight Restrict to 1 Promo Lobomon Restrict to 1 BT4 Thomas Norton Ban Pairing EX7 Shoto and MotherD Ban Pairing Patamon and MagnamonX I think these address most or all of the current or potential community problems, I know some people like to riot on imperialdramon’s Davis&Ken, but there is balance between the card and bricking 😅 Also unrestrict BT11 GreymonX, it’s not as bad as current cards and future cards
same with gabux, it only got restricted because of garux (wich was an honest limit) but this huts gabu decks a lot (and i mean the real gabu, not the hybrid one)
I like having generic cards. I like having cards that can be thrown in to make nonviable jank into something playable at locals. I think all of these cards give immense value but i think it only feels like so much because of the top decks that are currently being used. My best hope, they hit promo lobo, awakening, and numemonX antibody. I think all of these cards have given an unfair boost to the top decks in the format and i think there are comparable cards that have already been banned for similar reasons. I think Bandai is feeling them out very heavily too with the recent couch game videos they've been uploading. I think more than likely they will probably hit promo Ukkomon. His ability to gain memory hasn't had much push back in the meta with flood gates and everyone is complaining about ukkos and i think bandai is going to feel pressure to hit one of them and they just did a limited set with BT16 Ukko.
Ukko is big, hitting one of them slows down several of the top decks. Another that I'd throw in is the BT14 Bowmon thats not a once per turn or the BT14 Looga netting you a tamer from trash and getting you a lot of memory for nothing. For Yellow Vax/Armor, I think either embassary or the SR Pata. For Imperial, if its hit, itd either be a limit to one for either the BT16 tamer or the BT16 Pail.
Yes, BT14 Patamon and Bowmon are on my wish list too. BT14 Patamon might even be the worst offender outside of Magnamon X himself. You can't hit the BT16 Imperialdramon cards because that would kill the deck. Well, you could hit Imperialdramon himself, and that wouldn't kill the deck, but Paildramon and the tamer are too fundamental.

As far as cards you can bring back, the only ones that are feasible are the green Digimon because they're so old and have already been power-crept: Argomon, Blossomon, GranKuwagamon. Everything else needs to stay restricted, especially JetSilphymon because there's all new yellow hybrid support that can use her.
Really? I think a lot of the green cards are some of the bigger offenders of things we dont want in the game. Non archtype locked 1 and 0 cost evo level 5s are super gross and would see play in a lot of level 6 turbo decks, I can see a future where they print a really good green level 6 and you would abuse those cards to rush into it. I think keeping cards that generically cheat memory banned is the move imo.

Unfortunately, Magnamon X probably won't be banned because he's a secret rare, so I'd restrict some of the yellow vaccine package instead, namely Patamon and Emissary of Hope, also a banned pairing with the eggs that trash your own security. Hitting BT7 Koji is an odd call since he's really not overpowered at all and wasn't even used until now. I'd hit one of the new yellow/blue hybrids instead.
Thats some insane hate for yellow Vax, like I think its good but not that good. Also I think the BT7 Koji is a good hit because I doubt they want to hit the new cards and hitting that Koji makes it so they only have 4/5 valid names hurting the consistency and they can no longer ignore blockers with their swing
@@marshmallowruffian8259 it's the strongest deck if the player knows what he's doing. Recovery, free digivolve, and massive DP reduction are all huge, and re-triggering immunity and DP boost for Magnamon X is just unfair.
For me personally BT16 Davis&Ken is a must, im so tired of choking people to 1 mem with just 1 rookie in breeding and that deck, and they are able to DNA into the disgusting BT16 Paildramon gaining memmory. Also, if they see 2 of that tamer, is almost GG because how they can extend plays
imperial is a top 3 deck rn so hitting the top 2 without him would be just shifting the goal post, the issue with that deck is that it's really hard to hit it since so many pieces are interchangeable. I'd say maybe bt16 dragon mode to 1 since the deck already has a ton of defensive options as it is between partition, fighter mode ace, and paladin mode ace

I think the simplest restriction to Ukko would be: you can only run 4 ukkomon in name or 12 ukkomon in name in a deck.

Dexdoruga loves analog too. All the dark ocean cards are a big hell na from me. Especially Luci because his deck is awful.
