    Great video, very helpful. With my 2004 XC70 I had to remove the passenger side mount too in order to jack the engine up high enough.

    The airbox hose on the 2007 up is mounted differently from the '06 and below models

    Nice work! Couple quick questions. Do you also need to loosen the passenger side mount(wheel well area under timing belt) so that it doesn't stress when engine is raised and is that 14 mm bottom bolt holding the mount reusable or should it be replaced?

    What about the mount for the rear? I was all excited when you said you're replacing those rounded mounts. There're 2 of them. Thought you were going to do it for front and back.

    Do the mounts contains fluid, there's some type of oil under it?

    Yes right no mention of the vacuum line that go into the original ones you have to take off. And then put back on by being double jointed or hanging upside down in the engine bay.

    Does the car need to be on a lift in order to replace all motor mounts?

    • @eddiewouldgo19
      @eddiewouldgo19 4 года назад +3

      If you have an xc90 you can do all the mounts with all four wheels on the ground if you wanted to. When doing the 3 bottom mounts(2 hydraulic style & 1 transmission mount) it is easier if the car is on ramps to give you a little more clearance under the car, but isn't completely necessary if you don't have them. You will need a floor jack to support/lift the engine for each of the lower mounts.
