You make it look like this car just come out in 2020. Probably drives better than the 2020 cars. Thanks for sharing a quick video of the drive and not making us wait lol
Thanks for uploading been doing the same to my Supercharged Audi new shocks and new bushes should be finished this week. Cant beat that modified new car feel.
Great job man!!! The anti lift kit makes, obviously with the new suspension, a huge diferent of handling. In my Gti I changed only the control arms front powerflex bushings and it seems like a new car. I love BBS edition 30 wheels. Waiting new upgrades!!
Watching these makes me want a mk5 gti even more, I’m saving up for one but man is the insurance and road tax a killer, a ed30 would be nice but I’m not that rich lol
Absolutely loving your mk5 golf video’s as I’m a massive fan of them too! Ace vids from start to finish all German cars - what are your thoughts on mk2 focus st? Think you should upload a post on one of them as another one of my favourites as well please?!!
Great Vids always and detailed. Thanks for the list of parts fitted would you be able to put part numbers if not prices. I am looking at redoing my suspension . Keep up the great work bro.
I wonder how yoy got off the front bolt on the control arm on the drivers side, the dsg transmisson is blocking to get out that bolt... Would be interesting to see some 0-60 mph and 60-130 mph (or 100-200 km/h) times :-)
Have you noticed any difference in tyre wear using the anti lift kit? I have a meg rs250 non cup and very interested in the anti lift kits ! Wheel hop is bad when damp
Get some fluid film sprayed on those new suspension components! They will then continue to look like new! Fluid film is amazing stuff! Just clean and reapply every couple a years. All those new parts will still look brand new!
Looking to go for a set of these BC coilovers for my ed30 how do they behave on the road? Current kit is a pedlars shocks and spring set up and is too harsh.
Hi Hamza, I'm looking to buy a Scirocco R and I've seen one I really like with 130k miles. This will be my daily. You think I should go with that or pay a bit more for one with lower mileage?
when you accelerate the front wheels trying pulling themselves forwards into the arches, which changes toe etc, then once it loses grip from the toe change the wheel goes back to normal position and grips again, wheel hop also makes the wheels slightly bounce up and down, this movement is controlled by that the rear bush on the front wishbone, not sure how the geometry of the new part works but essentially stiffer bushing in there has more control over the forwards “pull” of the front wheels
@@JMG_vRS thats the best i can explain it anyways haha, i found a website explaining the geometry, it actually removes some of the factory built in anti-lift, this then puts more of the lift on acceleration down to the springs/dampers, which have better control than a single bushing. deffo on my list for both my mk5 and a3 at some point
Mine needs some bottom ball joints at somepoint so I’ll probably get the anti lift kit, poly front bush and some ball joints n do it all as one tbf, makes more sense the anti lift stuff to me now haha
No I had a byd engine in bro . Did a cheap remap blew my engine. So the mechanic has put in a bwa engine now . Does that make a big difference or should it be okay ?

Crazy as the same thing has happens to my mk5. Same part control arm too so parts on order as we speak. A few years later but great video 👍

Now you’ve got time for the Ps5 bro 😂
Just turned it on 😂

Awesome suspension work refurb.
Thumbs up
Watching these makes me want a mk5 gti even more, I’m saving up for one but man is the insurance and road tax a killer, a ed30 would be nice but I’m not that rich lol
"That is disgusting man, that is disgusting" 😂😂 Love it
If you don't mind me asking, how much was the cost of fitting for all the parts?
They probs gave him discount coz it’s TR Hamza inni
@@THBULLDOZER 🤣
@@TRHamza 😂
Everything that went wrong with your suspension went wrong with mine! Kinda glad even professionals encounter them, I'm just a DIY guy!

Welcome to bc racing coilover family!
Great Vids always and detailed. Thanks for the list of parts fitted would you be able to put part numbers if not prices. I am looking at redoing my suspension . Keep up the great work bro.
The ones ive gone for are 18mm h&rs on the rears and its just perfect 👌
Working with cars most of us can buy is a winner
I thought it was sold, watched it on eBay had a price drop then ended. Maybe I’ll buy it if it comes up for sale again. Happy for ya though!
Yes bro...mad work rate
Trying to keep it constant 👌🏼
That must handle brilliantly.
You kept it. Good man..keep it up
Cracking content fella 👍

Would be interesting to see some 0-60 mph and 60-130 mph (or 100-200 km/h) times :-)
What have you got planned for the brakes, it was the first thing I done to my Ed30 before anything else, the stock brakes are bad!
My is 2005 and it is without corrosion under the vehicle! I see that ed30 have a lot rust on chassis!
You’re making me miss mine 😭
Also did you have to upgrade the clutch packs for your trans?
let us know how you get on with the BC coilovers - i haven't heard many good reviews
@TR Hamza, this thing is mental🤯, could you do a list of links to all the parts bought in the video. Thank you👍🏻
Thank you 👊🏼 I’ve just put something in the pinned comment
How much did that all cost to buy? And what was the cost to fit?
Have you noticed any difference in tyre wear using the anti lift kit? I have a meg rs250 non cup and very interested in the anti lift kits ! Wheel hop is bad when damp
Did you sell the ED30? I miss MK5 videos!!!
I was thinking the same thing
Get some fluid film sprayed on those new suspension components! They will then continue to look like new! Fluid film is amazing stuff! Just clean and reapply every couple a years. All those new parts will still look brand new!
Hi mate I've bought the same arms and powerflex kit was the kit a straightforward fit onto the arms
Mini scrapyard😂keep this stuff up man,
You’ve re caught the mk5 bug😂 good man!
Had 11mm forge spacers all round on my ed30
Did 7:44 to 8:10 feel as awkward as it looked?
Mines got 10mm on front 15mm on back sits perfect
What a car indeed
Shes definitely a keeper bro
That sounds great 👍👍
How comes you put B6 arms on not MK5 ones ? Out of curiosity are the B6 arms stronger in a way?
Lighter, less weight on unsprung mass ;-)
Has anybody done an exhaust conversion on a mk5 with the one pipe on either side? I'd love to see it, think it'd look absolutely sick
❤️Mk5 GTI 🔥 🤙🤙
You need a slammed car in the future tho! 👍
Did they align the subframe when they put back together
GTI Edition 30 looking good. 12 or 15mm spacers should look good though.
Looking to go for a set of these BC coilovers for my ed30 how do they behave on the road? Current kit is a pedlars shocks and spring set up and is too harsh.
Great video 👍
2 mad gtis man your lucky bro u done well i wud love to hav both of en
Snapped bolts in the subframe was the worst experience I had with my 2+ eddy and thats after replacing a cracked piston lol
Quick question why did you only upgrade the rear anti roll bar
Didn’t want to take the subframe off initially, if I knew we were gonna have that bit off anyway I would have got one also
Get about you mate good vid👍
Hamza, stop it man. You make me want a MK5 GTI.
Beast 👍
Make a series of you supercharging or turbocharging your r32, would be unique
Question is that your intake making that noise or ur bov and is it also because ur k04?
Intake, but since having the hybrid it makes more noise than stock K04
Hi Hamza, I'm looking to buy a Scirocco R and I've seen one I really like with 130k miles. This will be my daily. You think I should go with that or pay a bit more for one with lower mileage?
👏👏great vid 👍👍
you should put a tte480 turbo
what language was the guys working on your car speaking?
SPACERS!!!
What does the anti lift kit actually do? I’ve got a mk2 octavia vrs and it wheelhops for a living🥴
when you accelerate the front wheels trying pulling themselves forwards into the arches, which changes toe etc, then once it loses grip from the toe change the wheel goes back to normal position and grips again, wheel hop also makes the wheels slightly bounce up and down, this movement is controlled by that the rear bush on the front wishbone, not sure how the geometry of the new part works but essentially stiffer bushing in there has more control over the forwards “pull” of the front wheels
I got ya now, defo on my to do list of mods for mine it’s a popular mod for a reason then
@@JMG_vRS thats the best i can explain it anyways haha, i found a website explaining the geometry, it actually removes some of the factory built in anti-lift, this then puts more of the lift on acceleration down to the springs/dampers, which have better control than a single bushing. deffo on my list for both my mk5 and a3 at some point

@@JMG_vRS sounds good to me 👍 same for me once my stock parts start giving up haha
Breaks next, will make a massive difference
You dont have negativ camber in the rear so i wouldt recon 1cm spacers in the back. I am using 15mm in the rear with 4 degrees negativ camber.
why you spending more money on it thought you was sellin them both?
best off keeping it cause its an absolute beast love it ❤
How come the front wheels dont torque steer?
Because of the handling mods that the videos about?
What happened to your Honda civic type r
Grinding to 100k fam🎆
cant wait for the exhuast again lol
Did you make 420hp on stock internals??
Most likely
Bwa engine in a 30 edition . Does it make a big difference?
BYD, and yeah it’s a lot safer for pushing past 400lbft of torque
No I had a byd engine in bro . Did a cheap remap blew my engine. So the mechanic has put in a bwa engine now . Does that make a big difference or should it be okay ?
It’ll do the job but just make sure to let the next person know if you ever sell it on
Time to take it Nurburgring!
Sounds just like mine. I miss that car 😟
Very tidy indeed.
Need more handbrake action on them roundabouts
Mad GTI
how much is the whole suspension change
