But reading this…if even THAT Jiraiya felt like this sometimes…wow. It makes me not feel so bad. Jiraiya had so many successes that he took them for granted. Almost every other thing he did - except for maybe how Nagato & team turned out - was a blazing success
Never for once in my life I thought that a cartoon like show w/ goofy ninjas in it can be so philosophical & emotional that it'll leave a mark on my life bigger than any other art piece I've ever seen. Truly a masterpiece.

I bought an Erhu a month ago for the first time and have been practicing this song over and over. Getting a consistent note has been the biggest struggle. Finding the notes and playing them still is not as hard as maintaining a consistent & clear sound with the bow hand's movements. I have lately been trying to incorporate vibrato into my practice, but I'm not sure if the method of vibrato I see used is "pressing" up and down on the string or "sliding" up and down on the string if that makes sense. If you are an Erhu player, any tip would be appreciated. I've played guitar for nearly 20 years, so I'm familiar with music terminology.
