Just info. I have 21 model and the tank issue is fixed. However my radiator still broke from top right corner. It's so badly designed and there's not enough support for the radiator from bottom. Mine moved down on the top rubbers that are in the bolts. Warranty covered me a new radiator and i'm taking it to welder. Supports from down all the way up so maybe it lasts this time. Only reason i bought gen3 instead of gen2 was radiator problems and i am really disappointed that the problem is still there...
Honest, I'd say this is more of a prevention/Peace of mind type thing. 9/10 your radiator won't leak unless you wheelie often and land the front end semi-hard. for most cases I would not bother with this. Unless you're already working on something under the tank and its really just a simple thing to do. replace the rubber with something that is slightly thicker than the original.

How much did you wait for new radiator for the bike? I am in same situation, that is the reason I ask. What support did you use ?
Can I ask has this worked as I'm wanting to buy the gen 2 2017 but this issue bugs me. And I don't fancy the reliability of the tuono 🤣🤣

I think If buy one I'll just do this just incase!
Shouldn’t this be a warranty issue?
When the radiator breaks. And hopefully if it breaks during warranty period. There's only 1 year in ktm warranty so most people can't use it
Force coming down from what? Gravity?
The dark side of the force
pot-holes - spoiled wheelies etc.
200 miles, what you getting next? I want a BMW k1600b and s1000xr
I've been told that ducati grips add 13.5 horsepower to the bike 😀
The too slow fix 🤙🤙👍
