I would say that this guy has put some time in on watching Steve Perry and getting his mannerisms as well as his amazing voice right on...awesome. The whole band sounds outstanding.

They are good ,but this is all edited and auto tuned right here , I haven't heard them near this good live , there live performances are a very bad mix of sound , if they could get a good sound tech it would help them immensely

@@awakeningblacksheep9610 I know for a FACT that this is not auto-tuned. There are obviously overdubs, but there is ZERO auto tune. In fact there is way less in the way of production gimickry on this compared to the original version.
@@TheRealMusicObserver I watch most of your videos dealing with Journey and Steve Perry. I always wondered why SP waited so long to have hip surgery (almost 2 years). My theory is that SP never wanted to go out on tour to support the TBF album. Any thoughts?

i just got chills!!!! i graduated high school in 1984. Journey was HUGE HUGE HUGE in those days! This group brings back ALL my teenage, early 20's memories! EXCELLENT! I am beyond words!

Great Tribute Band who is always so honest and sincere, respectful to Journey. Your covers sound sonically amazing and of course Hugo is a great vocalist in his onw right. Best Tribute Band out there to cover the tough Music Vocally and musically out there. Thank you for seeing the legacy of Journey and their massive musical catalogue as we do as fans and for always doing them Justice in your performances. Love you guys!

Hugo, you look and sound so much like SP it's literally freaking me out but in the most wonderful way. WILL YOU PLEASE COVER AND MYKE A VIDEO FOR THE PARTY'S OVER. My husband & I just had an incredible time jamming out with Voyage and another 2000 + of their fans @ The Club Casino & Ballroom in Hampton Beach NH! You all are totally amazing! I’ve seen over 60 bands in my years here and most of those were between the tears 1983- 1993! One band I was always upset I didn’t get to see was Journey! I was literally thinking about how I had never seen Journey, when my guitarist brother texted me, sent me video of Voyage and said he was doing tech for them on 06/11/22…
Within minutes, I had two tickets (to paradise… won’t you, pack a bag, we’ll leave tonight.”) ( lol. that’s another 80’s legend right there! Eddie Money! )
Well, seeing Voyage tonight, made me feel as if I could no longer say I had never seen Journey! So thank you to all of you in Voyage, and all of you hard working peeps in Hampton NH ! Great job ! thank you for sharing your selves with all of us!!!!

I have been a drummer for 40 years.I have lived in L.A...Nashville..I have seen so many players,bands,what have you.I just can't get over this band..My ears are always scanning,listening for a clam, mistake and these Cats are just super dynamic.Their tones,tempos,everything is just right fuckin there..Mind blowing guys.
That's how I am as well.. And I agree with you and I seriously think Journey would be great with him they are having quite alotta issues lately and I know that Steve won't go back(I can't blame him)
No doubt, this buddy is off the chart in their own right. This goes up beyond a cover band in it's entirety! Truly like non other!

Another awesome cover! The most incredible in it all is the fact that not only the lead singer does look like Steve but he can sing very very similar to him as well. Close your eyes and you can picture Steve Perry and when you open your eyes he still seems to be there. Great!
Best Journey tribute band. He sounds exactly like Steve, looks like him too, all the while emulating the same body movements he did on stage.

Unbelievable!!!!! I put this tribute band on. My wife was busy on the computer working from home. I asked her, who's this? She said, Journey. I said, take a look. She glanced over, she repeated, Journey. I told her to look really close. She said, on my goodness, I really thought it was Journey.

according to Neal Schon, Hugo to closely resembled Steve Perry in both looks and sound and felt it wouldn't be fair to Journey Fans etc etc etc.... personally I think it had something to do with the fued between Steve and Neal that cost Hugo the gig.

There was a band in Chicago called ARRA that was just like this. The singer was eerily similar to Steve in looks and vocal range (a little stronger voice, but looked a little less like him than this guy).

Bassists are often overlooked, even those who are awesome background vocalists, such as Michael Anthony, formerly of Van Halen and the late Chris Squire of Yes. The bass holds down the melody and makes everything else work!

These guys are so good. Wow. I recently found you all on YT. As a 54yo and longtime fan of Journey (theyre my #1), I gotta say you all are great! I mean the music is spot on. And wow Hugo...those vocals are just amazing. I had to blink many times thinking I was watching SP sing. Amazing.

They do a great job for a tribute band! I loved Journey growing up, and I was suspended one day for listening to "the music of the world" when I was in a Christian college. But, the music was so pertinent to the day, and I loved the music, the beat and the voice of Steve Perry! Gosh, could he ever get my attention since I was a musician myself!

Agreed, I'm so down for the Voyage! They have been tuning it down for Arnel and it's been sounding not so great. I was a kid in the 80's and a Journey fan in the 90's and on. Never got to see them in their prime with Steve. This is the next best thing for sure!
