I will be going for tailoring and enchanting. Doing a lot of dungeons and if I que for pvp, i might farm cloth or just watch netflix 😂
my main concern is the amount of time & effort to get weavercloths. i did some test for 30mins farming cloth, i get around 80+ cloths & 7-8 green boes. ive done it without any specialization unlock. i will do more further testing after i unlock the specialization.
btw its kinda sad that cloth only drop for tailor

Thank you for your guide ! Will probably do this on my alts, do you think that going for the crafting gear specialisation might be a good thing as well in order to get high quality gear fast (on a main character I mean) ?
For crafting and recrafting gear, that is a great way to go. One consideration though is that if you are trying to make money on the profession, going a gear build for your profession means you are going to be using the crafting order station A LOT when you make gear for other people. This system has a bit of friction with most of the playerbase and you end up having to really make use of trade chat to find people to craft/recraft gear for. Personally, I found this a bit draining on my blacksmith in DF and I am planning on going more reagent crafting builds for this reason and also the dev team mentioned that it is going to be a lot harder to make high quality reagents as intentional design and that when calculating the outcome of a craft they are weighing the reagent qualities a lot higher in the calculation. This makes it sound like creating the higher quality reagents is going to be more in demand than the gear crafting itself. We will have to see when the game goes live to know for sure though! Sorry for the longwinded answer but these are my thoughts on it. Thank you for watching tikonar!

There is a lot of things I wasn't aware of (about higher quality reagents being harder to create and having more impact on the quality especially). Knowing all of this I might reconsider it and still go dusk/dawn weaving even on my main ! Once again big thanks for the vid and your answer !
great question and answer both of you my dudes, really usefull feedback. i have a ''semi main'' Mage and making gear with it give me some nice gold in DF and i was really lucky with rare patters (i got the spore cloak really fast and made a ton of gold with it), but i had almost no gold with my Blacksmith in DF cause i didnt get any great pattern until it was to late.
For TWW it seems like the patterns wont be as dificult to get as DF was, so maybe it will hurt the gold benefit from many profession gear, time will tell.
With the weekly Knowledge Point cap (confirmed in blue post on 6/6), how many weeks before your system becomes viable? How long will it take to get this130 point tree complete? I haven't seen a hard number yet for the cap amount.
great point on that stubmc9222. I'll look into this but my only question is if we are going to get one time sources like the hidden trainers and repeatable quests like in dragonflight. I would expect they will give us a chunk up front to play around with to get our build started
