I eventually had to teach myself how to do a vent system, drain, replace the closet runners. He then just got mad at me, but I had waited 5 years, and asked.

Men rather be respected than love. And women wants love - we may have broken it down wrong but Bible is very correct in this difference between men and women - God made us, he is the authority even over Dr John : )
I agree that women need respect but as much as men need appreciation, there is also a respect that they need. For his woman to look at him and to respect the man he is.. not just to appreciate him, but respect him for his character and leadership. It makes it easier for women to "submit or surrender" so that she can be in her feminine, completely trusting him to be in his masculine. There is a difference, but respect precedes love. But I do believe respect comes later for a woman to a man, but needs to be first from man to woman.
Hello, I have been married twice and divorced twice. I always wanted a good, happy marriage and successful marriage. I just gave up on marriage which has been upsetting at times. I am watching to get some understanding of men and relationships 🙂. I also agree John that men and women are different totally different.
