Happy New Year Bob and what a nice day of fishing for your first 2025 outing. I’ve always done well with your Bunny Royale in that area. I look forward to some of your new designs. See you out there sometime. James
I was running a micro rig on my 1wt euro nymphing rod. Euro comp fly line to 11' of 4x butt section to 18" of .007 sighter material to a tippet ring. Then 4' of 6x tippet to a triple surgeons (and dropper fly) and 20" of 6x to the point fly. The 10' 2wt is just a flat piece of 13' .008 chameleon to a tippet ring, then tippet. I can use a colored marker to create a sighter, or throw dry dropper on it from there.
Great to see you out again Bob. Heck, I moved to Oregon, so now I have trouble getting to fly fish in-between fishing on the ocean and coastal rivers for steelhead, coho, Chinook, lingcod, grayling, rock fish, halibut. Yeah, I got an electric reel for the halibuts down at 300 to 500 feet deep. Keep up the good work.
Welcome home! Good to see you back on the river. Great start to the 25 season.
Thanks!
Welcome back Bob! Nice video with some solid fish. Bunny Royale for the win! Have a happy new year my friend!
Thanks Steve. Hope your 2025 is off to a good start.
Happy New Year! Great video!
Thank you Brendon!

Thanks James. I have some interesting patterns in testing phase.
First time to your channel…it was awesome! Love to hear your rig tips as a relatively new fly fisher. Thanks

Hope things are going well for you Ed.
what an epic day!
Thanks, fishing should just improve as we get further from the spawn
Happy New Year
Thanks!
Great video! What type of "fly line" do you use for euro? Is it just monofilament?
I use Cortland's .022 Braid Core Euro Nymphing Line
What’s the reel paired with the Diamondback ?
I run Orvis Hydros Euros on my Diamondbacks. They balance really well.
I actually plan on going to the middle Provo this upcoming weekend, any tips?
Focus on soft edges and nervous water. If you find one, there will probably be a few more. Oh and tie on a Bunny Royale.
@ awesome thank you! Looking forward to seeing more content!
@@TroutFlies hey the bunny royale worked great, i switched a few times but I got the most bites on the bunny, cheers Bob!
@@Nunyabusiness40 Glad the flies worked! The Bunny put in work again for me this last trip.
