I love my state I live in, West Virginia. We have some amazing wild trout streams but we do not have any lakes that contain trout all year which is a bummer. The state stocks lakes and ponds in the colder months and there are pay to fish lakes. I’m patiently waiting for the fall stockings. Great content, thanks!!! Hopper season is my favorite season. Also I absolutely adore the small water videos. I've switched to mostly pocket water over the years to try to escape the crowds. Best scenery and eats ever! I'm sure it was deliberate not saying what stream you were on, but could you say the say the approx region? I think I know where you're at but not absolutely sure. Haha but no matter what. Great video and footage!

Line control, brother... You missed more fish holding the line in your left hand. Instead, focus on rod hand line control. Strip your line with your left, and you will hook up more often. Keep up the good work, tight lines.

It being such short range in this river, have you done much dry dropper from a euro rig? Noticing you're basically high sticking that fly line. Love how well dry dropper works and great video!

Most of everyone I've been watching, even renown guides on videos just heave the flies with their shoulder. I don't know man I heard this place has big fish but with how many little ones you're catching that's not a good sign of a good quality lunker fishery man the management of this lake needs to change

Dude you're stripping techniques are pretty boring man you need to get into some different rhythms of of strip and shorter strips like I noticed you don't even do little strips you're tripping man you say you're mixing up you're stripping techniques but really you're not man you're pretty bland

When I lived in sugar House in the 80s, there was a man that owned a fly fishing shop there in sugarhouse. I believe his last name was snow. He tied a fly called a Mormon girl. Very effective. Even here in West Virginia. Back when you can fish below the dam at Schofield it was very effective there too. And other places thistle Creek etc. I still have one of The originals. I probably tied many of them throughout. Enjoy your videos the memories of living and fishing in Utah is great.

I found an old bamboo in an estate sale 10 years ago. I think I'll try some 3# line and see how it casts. If no good, I'll try 5# (all I have). I gotta try it 1 time at least.
