Hi Szymon, absolutely all of these flies will catch fish too. This is why I don't like them being too bulky with buoyant materials as that can cause you to miss a fish that is taking the dry fly.
Hi Stuart, for bung fishing then you could definitely use something like the Ugly Ant. The others may not give you that support you're looking for over a long stillwater drift. For a washing line set up, I prefer flies like foam arsed blobs (or I do a similar style with a bibio) or Boobies (e.g. a Dial Bach Booby with small foam eyes, or Cormorant Booby with larger eyes).
Hi David, the foam I used in the video was: Semperfli Booby foam (6mm) - you can get it in the UK from www.theessentialfly.com , the assorted pack is best for a range of colours I find Semperfli Flat Fly Tyers Foam 2.5mm - you may have to shop around a bit more for as this is a newish product

Nice. Do you ever get any strikes on the indicator fly or is it purely to help suspend the nymphs?

Alex would these patterns be good for suspending a couple of buzzers as a washing line set up as well?
