I don't think we're going to see this fabled FF9 Remake anytime soon, because I don't think it's being made. It might have been planned at one point, accounting for the Nvidia leak, but there's been no indication that it's actually in production. Just some vague "leakers" who have consistently been wrong in predicting its reveal.

Given that an average AAA game takes 4 to 6 years to be created, we’ll have to wait until 2025-2026 for a new wave. We just got Astro, we're gonna have a new Ghost, Wolverine and Bluepoint, Bend, Housemark, Santa Monica and Naughty Dogs are cooking, people need to chill 🙏For now, no one is really behind schedule

I don’t think it’s sustainable because you’re going to rely on those games making massive amounts of money to break even. There’s no reason they can’t have smaller projects like how Obsidian did with Pentiment. Then again, it doesn’t matter if they keep paying third parties for exclusivity

Less ambitious projects that take less time are a good idea, but when they do that (like Spider-Man: Miles Morales), people call them "DLC slop," so I feel like people will never be satisfied anyway
It's being reported that Lunar Remastered Collection will be a multiplatform release on PS4/5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, and PC. Thank god for that! Lunar is one of my all-time favorite franchises, even above Final Fantasy. The only way this could be better is if it included all versions of both games. The Sega CD originals definitely hold up, while Lunar Legend and Silver Star Harmony are also worth playing for how they change up the experience. I try to go back and replay them all, like, once a year.
After seeing the new Hitman VR for Meta Quest 3 a number of weeks ago I'm happy to see there's a version for PSVR2 with the original graphics too. Now I just hope that it comes to PC VR proper. Hitman VR on PC is absolutely awful at the moment.

Man Fantasian gets everybody worked up about its diorama levels, but it's crickets when it came to Kunitsu-gami doing the same thing a few months ago. I feel like Capcom marketing really dropped the ball by not showing off one or two of its real life sets. Ideally we let a game speak for itself in trailers, but here it just led to people missing out on incredible pieces of art.
I played Kunitsu-gami and still had to look this up after reading your comment. What a shame for them to go to all that work and the end result just looks like regular old graphics. Fantasian is smart because the environment are more clearly handmade and photographed, giving the game a more abstract presentation.
Maybe you guys can’t win but I liked watching you guys when you would be excited for all the games coming out, now you mainly shit on everything. Hate on VR, souls like, whatever it is. Well except for 2 of you but come on you guys can do better. ✌️
