About 5 months ago I had 24 subscribers even though I uploaded daily but now I have 640 subscriber even though I upload twice a week thanks to this guy.

This formula sounds great in theory but honestly has never worked for my educational channel. It feels forced and manipulative and doesn’t match my personality or content. And I don’t want to watch “story” videos when I’m looking for answers to technical questions. There’s got to be a better way.
Thinking the same thing...one size doesn't fit all. There must be different frameworks by channel type out here.

Yeah, I’m curious how this applies to an educational channel. That’s not about historical figures. I mean, I could use it on some of my videos if I were explaining a biblical character, but for most of my videos, I can’t see how this would work.

I understand the sentiment. It sometimes feel like storytelling doesn’t work in some niches and I think it’s really a matter of how hard or easy it is as opposed to whether or not it works.
The challenge is getting creative with how you set something up - Even if it’s educational. You can turn anything into a story by turning it into a game or by impose some sort of restriction or challenge. I’m in the tech niche and it is difficult to find the story in something as objective as reviews but a story quickly forms if instead review the tech by using it to solve a challenge.
I empathize that it is hard but it is possible so Keep trying!!
In my niche, a viral video just won't happen. Because it's a very narrow field of interest. On the opposite hand, the few people watching my stuff, are very dedicated and grateful I provided them with my tours. That's what makes me happy. I get boats for free to test from sponsors, I don't have to buy stuff to make my trips and film them. That's my win, but I also have to work pretty hard to accomplish that. Cheers Eckie
Although I enjoy your channel, I find that at some point it’s hard to transpose and make work your strategies in the context of a small niche channel (I’m doing music education content). I would love to see you pick more examples of history, educational, cultural channels, less trendy but it’s really where there is a real challenge I believe for content creators.
Exactly! To be honest, we cannot follow Mr. Beast style. We need unique ideas for small creators.

I recommend watching through some of there channel reviews each week, because they cover a good variety of channels like history and just educational content. You can also always breaks down what the biggest channels in your niche are doing, and create your own strategy. Either way, I hope your music education content does great!

At the moment vertical streams are blowing up for me the numbers I get from views and subscribers is insane I really do recommend it to anyone. So take my advice use the vertical stream is really popular at the moment

I like how you make it easier to understand while still having a high quality video.
This channel is giving advice to creators like myself about how to grow our channel however they are making money from us viewers watching not by following their own advice. They should have millions of views if they follow what they promote but it’s obvious that they are making money from desperate new RUclips creators like us not by their mind breaking advice.
Same with those finance gurus. If you know how to make £10k a day why would you be bothered about making RUclips videos explaining how you do it

I was hoping and searching for a comment like this. These guys are full of it and are preying on the gullibility of new tubers. All VidIQ care about and is increasing their watch time. They give the same old irrelevant and nonsense advice. I use chatGPT to summarise the video transcript, and there is never anything worth while revealed.

@SHADOW_VETERAN consistently uploading and shorts. And applying something slightly different or new each upload if possible. That's really all I've done. I feel like I have a lot to learn still but for me the growth has fallen under those conditions I'd say 👉 just as reference, I've made over 300 videos since the 1st so. Lol a lot of hard work and determination. Don't give up!
I gotta keep chasing all day, every day. In hopes that I grow a fan base of my music and show love. Great video!

But most times it sounds easier than it really is and also... while putting in the efforts we may forget at the finish line every single detail we had to put to get us the results we eventually have...
Then at the point of success...we barely express the obvious efforts we may have made and sometimes forget or ignore what we really did that worked 😊
We learn daily but it's good to know what your uniqueness is...stay consistent and apply the needful and eventually you become successful too!
I am going to do this for my next video. I have spent a lifetime working as a "blue collar" worker and never really worked on my writing skills. But now I am retired and I do have stories and advice for those that follow behind me. Thank you for sharing this information, I needed it so very much.

I've been doing RUclips videos for the last 4 years now since lockdown and it's about me going hunting for vintage toys and collectables to resell on ebay to fund the PokéFund for my Pokémon collection.
I'm learned loads over the last few years on editing and making thumbnails and I have seen improvement on my views plus subscribers or as I call them Poképickers 😀,
I'm nearly reaching my goal of 3k and I still do watch these type of videos to still learn tips and hints but I'm not in it for the money mainly to show my passion on my channel. ❤
Just started my channel a few weeks ago. It's kinda frustrating going from thousands of views to nothing if you don't post in a day. I'm just getting more ambitious with my projects! Hopefully Ill find an audience one day and that wont be an issue.

I took a break from content creation for about 5 months and when I came back my views were actually good! I am glad that RUclips is finally starting to recognize small creators! Also I feel like RUclips changed the way my videos get views it can take up to three days then the videos just pop off🎉🎉🎉

To be honest I think all advice I got from RUclips about RUclips so far applies only to entertainment content. What about educational content ? Including teaching an exercise routine. Like most growth tips, I doubt this model would work for me at all. I have not found anyone that gives helpful advice to creators who do educational content. If anyone of you knows please do share. 😊
I’ve gone from just a handfull subscribers to closing in on a hundred subscribers as we speak in just two months - All I had to do was actually start making videos, go figure ;)
