Hey Jim ,
Can you do a video on what the Resenator banjo sounds like with nylon strings.
Can you do it on the R-35.
Thankyou for hearing me.
Keep the videos Rollin.
Just woke up first hearing this. Best way to wake up!
Awesome!
Hi Jim, I really am enjoying learning this tune, what a way to spend a Sunday morning. Cheers. Rich
Great!
This one is so fun! Boy that last stretch to a c chord is really somethin', hopefully get there one day. Thanks Jim!!
You can do it!
Purdy cool! Thanks Jim!
Thanks for watching!
I needed this, been ill for a long while (not Covid) and I haven’t been able to pick my banjo up. Boy oh boy am I rusty !! Thanks for the inspiration Mr Jim, much appreciated. 🇬🇧🇺🇸
I'm glad I can inspire you!!
Beautiful playing Jim! Keep it up!

Ou man, what a great tune!! Maybe not so easy.. but definitly one that i have to learn.. im still fighting with train 45.. when i play it its like train 25..

Hey Jim!I love this song very much.It will become more and more great by practising.Thankes for teaching us.Stay healthy.
Thanks for letting me teach you!
Yet another knee slapper to add to the repertoire! Thanks Jim!
😃
favorite lesson so far! Felt like i was playing the banjo for the first time with those triplets.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I love this, the triplets take an already good rendition and adds fire!
As a way of saying thanks for putting out quality content, I subscribed to your highest Patreon tier.
Thanks so much ☺️
Thanks Jim! I love the triplets...just great.
My pleasure!
What a wonderful man you are! I'm so grateful Jim ❤
Thank you ☺️
Thank you Jim keep the vids coming !
Will do!
the wind blowing in your hair somehow makes this more epic
...and the dogs barking. 😜
This is hard to believe, but I swear it’s true. Last night, I woke around 2, and when I was almost back asleep, I hummed a couple notes. My wife asked if I was singing in my sleep. I quietly sang her a song and we both fell back asleep. I don’t have to tell you which song it was. What a strange feeling to see this song in my morning notifications. I swear!
Meant to be! Now you can play it for her. 🥰
Great stuff as always jim 👏👏👏👏 bit of work in this great tune
Thanks for listening
Jim, what a great rendition of that song. I'm working on Blackberry Blossom now, but this one will be next. Looks very challenging for me, but you are a great teacher, and make it very entertaining.. thanks again for the videos...
You can do it!
Nice catchy song. Great learning vehicle
Thanks Jim
Glad you enjoyed it
This one of my favorites! Maybe I'll try to learn it some day
You can do it!
Pretty slick, I'm liking it and thank you!
Glad you like it!
I love what you are doing.
Thanks!
Love it! Sounds like a challenge though . . .
You can do it!
@@JimPankey Thanks for your encouragement! You are such a wonderful and talented man.
I had the triplet, then I lost the triplet, now I'm getting it back again! There's a neural superhighway forming...
Woohoo!! Neurons Rock!
@@JimPankey Hey Jim. I've now got the muscle memory to play 321, 521 (instead of 321, 512 that my brain thought I wanted). I'm working on getting the triplets up to speed (the neural superhighway is still a construction site) but I wanted to give an extra thumbs up for this one. Great job Jim - thanks.
You're my favorite!!!!
Thanks 😊
So cool! Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it 😊
I really like this style, but I hate messing with my tuning. Good job anyways Jim your the best.
You should really get used to going in and out of C. It's only one string and it's such a handy thing.
Thanks again Jim for the reminder, it's only one string.👍👍
Bravo
Thanks!
Great!
Thanks!
Love that tune. Must be getting old I know that tune…..
It’s an oldie for sure. ☺️
This is awesome material I love the triplets and I love playing them, if you wanted to could you make a video on how to implement them more into Other songs?
Well... I could, but I think if you apply what you learn here you can do it without me showing you where to put your fingers.
@@JimPankey that’s fair, all it takes is practice. Thanks Jim!
Jim, you are the best. I'm still trying to perfect Country Roads but this one will be next.
How many new songs can students effectively learn at one time?
I really can't answer that. You will know when you've taken on too much.
Hi Jim, is it possible that you could do a walk through and demo on a Carter favorite "Keep On The Sunny Side"?
Maybe... Not sure I've got an actual break for that one though.
@@JimPankey Whatever you could put together would be appreciated, thanks for the reply Jim.
on the lick in the first part it seems easier to do a pull of on the third rather than thumb index... is that ok?
On the little turn around? Yeah, you can, but it's snappier with the thumb index sequence.
Is flint Hill easy to learn?
Do you have D-Tuners? Have you watched my video for that?
Hey jim I bought a gibson epiphone mb-25
Congrats!
Hey Jim, how hard do you plant your finger on the banjo head while you're playing?
Not very... just touching.
@@JimPankey thanks
