I'm having some trouble using Aperture Priority: when I put my camera in AUTO 1 ISO mood (I put default ISO 160, ISO max 3200 and min shutter speed 1/60) I don't know why my camera continues to shoot with shutter speed lower than 1/60 (for example 1/40 or 1/20 which is definitely too long and my photos appears blurred). If you could help me I would be so grateful.
Can you do a video on what’s the best setup a xt3 for sports indoor/outdoor. I’m not getting good hit rates. This is for high school sports. Thanks brother.

I put my camera on aperture priority and tried to control the aperture through turning the lens (Fuji 35mm f1.4). But nothing happened on the screen when I changed it. Is that a defect on the camera body or the lens or both? or did I accidentally press something I wasn’t suppose to? I would appreciate any help I can get. Thank you!

Hi Wai, would you recommend the 23mm f2 over the 18-55 kit lens for videos? I have the XT30 body only and don't know which one I should get as a first lens, I'm more into videos than stills
I would recommend the 18-55 because it more versatile. You can treat it like a prime lens when using it at 18mm F2.8. Or you can go to F4 and use it like a 18-55 F4 constant aperture. And the OIS is super useful for low light situations and hand held video shooting.

Very helpful. What is the kit lense for the xt30?
The one on the thumbnail of this video is the 23mm f2.0. But the most common kit lens is the 15-45 or 18-55. The 18-55mm being the better choice.
@@WaiYingLam The lense that I see most often with it is the 15-45, but if I got the xt30 I think I would just buy the body and get the 18-55.

I would suggest you reset the camera to factory defaults and see if the problem continues

I dont have a xt1 anymore but somewhere in the menu setting, you should be able to configure one of the dials for aperture control

There is for some but honestly you would be had press to notice it unless you are specifically looking for it.
