Nice garden! Try grafting the tip of a fruit bearing branch on one of your small avocado plants. If the graft takes, it will produce avocado in 1-2 years. If you have a lot of success, that will be good money there. All the best!
Sounds like it could be a Ugandan traditional children’s song. “Sarah had ten big bananas, then rain and wind came along . Sarah said hey there Fiona, now only eight can be grown. Sarah had eight big bananas, then the little monkeys came along. Monkeys ate two more bananas, now only six can be grown. Sarah had six big bananas…” I’ll stop there so you don’t run out of bananas 😊.
@ yes! In both lugandan and English. Teach the world how to emulate your calm smile. Show them how to control their own peaceful space in the midst of chaos. Show them how lovely Ugandan spirit is 🙏
Can't the the fallen banana stalks be salvaged? What if they're sunk in deeper holes? Merry Christmas to you and your family too, madam Sarah & chef Phiona from Kyega 😊😊😊
@sarahpedun8769 would it continue to grow to term if replanted? Am actually sad, sorry for the loss 😞 Would replanting the others into deeper pits make them more stable?
@kendadima For it to regrow, I have to cut down the banana and replant only the sucker, this variety of bananas grow soo tall so when there is heavy rain and wind, they easily fall. It's sad.

Thank you. Happy holiday season to you too.
Merry Christmas to you & your family. How long will those young avocados trees take before they bear fruits?
When you plant a fruit tree from see, it takes about 5 to 7 years to fruit but you may be lucky and get fruits earlier. Thank you for watching.
