- Our small urban farm has really changed over time. We now have more birds, bananas and the vegetables are thriving.
Hello everyone, how are you doing , I hope all is well. If you are here for the first time, you are soo welcome. To my returning viewers thank you for always supporting, I do appreciate.
In today's video I'm going to share with you our small farm over time. I hope you enjoy the video.
Kind regards.
Hello everyone, thank you soo much for watching. I do appreciate each and everyone of you. Happy rest of your day.
Thanks for sharing too
I didn’t realize you only had this garden three years. Very good progress. Our growing season is only five months long so each year only gets so far. Greenhouses are important , but I haven’t had time yet.
This is why my vow is to have a proper functional homestead.
This inspires me more.
Thank you for the wonderful feedback.

This is great! Thank you for the lovely feedback
Sis, very impressive. As a suggestion, you may need also to talk about how you maintain your plants. For example, how do you fertilise them and how often ?. How do you control pests, including fungal attack, spidermites, mealybug, slugs....etc ?.
Consider aslo adding exotic banana plants such as variegated musa florida , musa nono, musa ice cream, musa ingens and ruby siam. You can buy these banana seeds online. Once you succeed in growing them, a pup of any of these exotic bananas can be sold for 100 to 200 US$ each.
Thank you for the wonderful suggestions, I will do that. About the exotic plants, may be in future
Beautiful farm!
Thank you
you should try raising silkworms and sell silk. Its a good income to produce high quality silk. I mean if you have couple of ladies like you working together. Silk is highly priced internationally.
Plus mulberry is fodder tree for lot of animals like goats, rabbits, ducks and other livestock

You have a beautiful garden, Sarah, and a bountiful harvest. I loved your little caterpillar. I would love to see what type of butterfly it transforms into.
Thank you soo much for the kind remarks. Unfortunately I lost truck of the caterpillar, I also wanted to see the butterfly.
@@sarahpedun8769 you should try to see if you can use it’s image to identify the species and then get a photo of the butterfly. I’m in the states and I tried that method. I found a similar looking caterpillar but the tail end was different. Plus it only seems to show ones from my region.
@@karensterling5246 thank you for this information, I will do that.

Great work and interesting. How did you make the birds' drinking trap?
Thank you, we dug a hole and placed a basin then filled it with water and covered with part of a tyre. You must clean it daily, a blue basin/container makes it look better
