This is the best video of its kind. The resources linked are incredibly helpful. Many thanks!
Thanks, lads! We're planning on checking out your interesting suggestions on our trip. Greatly appreciate your efforts.
Great job gentlemen! The Botanic gardens, Byers Road and the Kelvingrove are my favourite stops.
Been hunting RUclips for Glasgow travel guides. This one is by far the best!!
We visited Scotland in late September and we spent 10 days in Edinburgh and 3 days in Glasgow. We saw many of the places that were in your video. We hope to spend more time in Glasgow when we visit Scotland again. We really loved the Riverside museum and the tall ship! I took so many photos!
I should also mention that the Glasgow walking tours are a great way to see more of the city.
Thank you so much. Will be in Glasgow on Wednesday. Looking forward to all the sights
Cheers Guys! This was helpful and your selections were top tier. Keep up the good work.
Best Glasgow guide I’ve watched! Our time in Glasgow will be limited and this helped us determine where to focus our time. Thanks for putting it together!
This is actually well made I thought I was watching an actual instruction tour guide keep it up guys
The only Glasgow video that even mentioned tenants brewery ..cause I like my beer😍
We had to mention it, Beer and alcohol in general plays a big part in Glasgow culture haha!
Great List! Thanks! I will be visiting this summer and I will check these ideas out.
Visited once and completely fell in love with the city. I plan to move there from London when this virus decides to leave us alone. Stay safe x
Brilliant thank you can't wait to visit your beautiful city ❤
Some excellent footage - well done.
Sweet! I'll be there the beginning of August!
I'll be moving to Glasgow next year with work for a couple of years, your video is really endearing and you guys just helped me to have another great new beginning - thank you :)
Good luck with your new venture! You will love Glasgow, so much to see and do! Glad we could help :)
Great video, thanks. My wife and I are thinking about Glasgow as our next short UK holiday. It looks really good value, hotel prices are excellent compared to elsewhere, and good quality/really well reviewed.
Cheers lads, looking forward to it!
Really good guide to Glasgow. Maybe needs an update, although not city centre, i can heartily recommend the Burrell Collection out at Pollock Country Park. Vast and stunning collection of art and artefacts in a redesigned environment. And it's free!
Great guide thanks guys. I am off to Glasgow next weekend fist time
On our way to Glasgow today. Very informative!
Love this video! I watched this before visiting Glasgow. We tried to visit Macintosh towers, but it was closed for maintenance. One of my favorite things was seeing the murals across the city and necropolis. You guys have the best video of Glasgow hands down.
Belter of a video lads! Good on yeez :)
Great video ... I'm excited to be visiting soon and will try and make sure I visit most of these places.
High quality, good choice of spots. Thank you guys!
Born in Glasgow, now in New Zealand.Great video, great production...made me homesick! Subscribed straightaway!!!! Keep up the great work guys ....
A great list of Glasgow! I'll be in Glasgow next week to revisit & walk around where my grandparents lived, before emigrating in 1910 and 1923. I'm so excited, due to the history and that it will be my first time in Scotland. Thanks for the excellent video!

Excellent guide, very helpful and very well done. Cheers.
Great video showcasing the city - the drone footage especially is awesome. Heading up to Glasgow for a walking tour at the weekend but hoping to see and do more in the city over the coming months, especially with the nice weather.
Thanks so much! We really appreciate your kind words, don't forget to tell your friends! You will need to be fast, looks like the weather hasn't been as sunny and warm the last few days, it could be snowing tomorrow for all we know!! Hope you enjoy your time in Glasgow, let us know if you check out any of the places we suggested 🤘
-Graeme
Went up today and got some cracking weather for the walk. Gave a really good overview of the city and would be great for visitors to get their bearings. First time I've ever been to the necropolis and would love to go back and see it on a tour of it's own to get more information. I'm from fairly locally down on the west coast but my partner is originally from abroad so we did loads of the things on your list when he first started visiting here. The open top bus is a great way to see the city and the live guides are really good.
Very cool video!! Great job you guys!! I'll be adding these suggestions to my trip to Glasgow later this year! 😊👍
Glad to be off some assistance my friend!
Very good lads I was their a few weeks ago with a few friends from London they loved it
Thanks for the video that's helped 100%.
Great information. can not wait for our trip to Glasgow in early March. Riverside Museum and the Catheral a must. and all those new foods to taste. Thanks guys for the great video
Really nice list of things to do in Glasgow
Great guide to our city guys ,as a southsider my favourite place in Glasgow is Pollok park.
Good video lads highlighting Glasgow well done as a city Glasgow is always re inventing itself there is still a lot to do to improve the city with new housing etc and solve the problems of the 1960s clearences in saying that things are improving but we need to sort out the pockets of poverty in the city great upload guys well done
great video! I cant wait to visit next week :) #cheers
I loved this video. Glasgow was the first city in Scotland that I visited back in 1995 during my last year at university the US, and has always been my favorite. Edinburgh is the “pretty” city of Scotland, but to me Glasgow will always be the “experience.” Our last visit was in 2017 and am desperate to visit again.
Great job boys cheers🍻
Thank you so very much for this video , really interested to visit those placese .
Have you guys seen the generated closed captions for your vid...hysterical!!! Suffice to say the algorithm disnae understand Scottish...hahaha
very useful vid! Many thanks for posting
Ahhh #8 I was there! We loved our time there ❤️❤️ thanks for this video :-)
Loose Herb hey!! We're really glad you got to check out Kelvingrove and enjoyed your time there! We tried to showcase it's awesomeness as best we could :) if you want to see more content definitely stick around as we have loads more videos planned, your support would be really appreciated! 🤙
-Graeme
STGD Travel I’m definitely sticking around and am excited to see what’s coming up :) I’m honored to support your videos, thanks for inviting me!
Well.sayedx
Nice video it has helped plan my visit next month great to see a Glasgow Guide by Glaswegians
Superb video Lads!! Currently over in Michigan USA (lived and worked here for past 25 years). Will be returning to UK permanently in November. Time to keep a closer eye out for my OL man who lives down the coast close to Mull of Galloway. Strongly considering Glasgow, North Ayrshire, Isle of Arran area as our new base. THAT video REALLY fires up the excitement!! Seems to be a terrific energy, arty, bohemian feel, creative spirit about the city, and a lot to occupy a young mind (little girl is 4 yrs old) and an American wife (very familiar with Scotland but not Glasgow), in a new place!! Looks like a great area for our the family to settle back into life across the Pond. Appreciate the work you put into this!! Will be keeping an eye out for more videos from you boys!!
Hi Gary, thanks for the nice words they are much appreciated. Glasgow is just one of those cities where you just don't know what to expect there is enough culture and stuff going on if you know where to look to keep you going. The people can be a bit wild at times but I suppose that's what makes it Glasgow. It has a charm that you don't find many other places! Really hope you guys enjoy it and keep us updated on how you get on.
@@ScunneredScotsmen "Cheers" lads. Really looking forward to it!! Originally from Lancs UK and travelled world last 30 years or so. Short stays in Glasgow in past and LOVE Scotland!! Stayed on several Isles etc etc. Truly appreciated your insight. Made looking for an area in which to stay x first 6 months or so back on UK soil a lot easier, particularly with the wee one in tow.
Keep up the great work 👏👏👍
I'll be keeping an eye out for your future stuff!! You guys do great work 👏👏👊
Really Appreciated that reply n kind wishes too!!
Be good 😉👍
I've been to riverside museum, silence centre and much more for school trips , the riverside museum is one of the best
So helpful!
It's like Switzerlanders speak German. Same but totaly different 😁
I'm courious of Glasgow. Visit it next April!
I would also personally recommend one of the free walk guided tours.
Nice list ^^
Sharmanka Kinetic Theatre, Trongate is really cool too guys! 🤗
I’m coming to visit in June from Australia, and I cannot wait!!
What an amazing country! Scotland is my dream place to travel!
Good way to take in and remember how the day went, lots of people see spending time/money as reward for battling surviving challenges at work. Travel can be real simple cause you are having time off from how companies or coworkers try & lead trends ;) Keep doing it as long as feel you are getting something from it. I would lock onto being yourself and what family culture you lean most between 2 parents. You got that from beginning (wasn't wrong), and lots of people before you waiting to help, ancestry wise. One day that will be the easiest thing to do and you won't have to disrupt what was set up. Noticed some shaky video and as getting into cameras want less run n gun, but just me. Know it adds more reality. Liked slow mo and slider shots. Thanks for sharing >^^
Lol lordy well done
Really great guide! You gentlemen deserve a cigar :D
Thanks Global traveller we are still really new to RUclips so we don't want cigars we want subscribers hahaha! Glad you enjoyed it stick around for more coming soon.
STGD Travel Haha, I have to subscribe now. Cigars on ice until at least you get to 1000 subscribers 👍
10:48 In all my years of watching RUclips, I think that's the first time I've ever heard someone say to drop a dislike. Haha. Of course I won't, but it was funny to hear.
On a serious note, in your exploration of your top 10 list, what has been your experience in coming across 'no photography' rules? You guys have quite a bit of footage. Just wondering how strict the places you have been are with such policies.
Other than that, really great stuff! If possible, I'd like to vote for some coverage on more of the countryside. Like what the average town looks like, exploring the hills, etc. Really looking forward to future videos! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Terebiomimasu, Most places just asked why we were filming to check if it was for commercial use, but because it was for a personal youtube it was cool.
Yeah It sounds weird it was a joke but any interaction is good for us in the early stages of growth.
If there is anywhere in particular you would like to see let us know and we will try and bring it to the channel, we stay in an average town there isn't loads to see in terms of shops etc but there is some little castles , nice walks things like that.
This is the best 'top things to do in Glasgow' video I've seen. Awesome job!
Cheers ma Dude !
Glasgow, ma home town. Good to see she is still growing and still a lot of fun. We used to live near Shawlands. That was about 15 years ago but it looks pretty run down now.
After you left everybody just thought, ach! Why bother?!
Thanks for the advice guys! I’ll be spending nearly a month in Glasgow soon and your video has had some of the best recommendations. Can’t wait to visit (If you go see Walking With Dinosaurs, come say HI) ;)
Hi Kari, Not a problem happy to help with any questions you have etc we don't know everything but if we don't know we try and find out for you! Where are you visiting form?
STGD Travel - I’ll be visiting from The States (Orlando respectively).
I’ll be there rehearsing for a few weeks before the tour starts (arriving 18th of June).
Looking for great places for food and drink as well :)
Nice one you will have fun Glaswegians are a unique bunch haha!
I'm looking forward to experiencing as much as I can. Thanks to your video I've added Kelvingrove Art Gallery, Tennents Brewery, Necropolis / Glasgow Cathedral, and Ashton Lane to my list. Thanks in advance for being part of my visit :)
Oh! and I've noticed that you guys have some great ink...any recommendations for good tattoo shops/artists in the area?
Great stuff am sure you will enjoy it! Check out fleur de lis, Rock and roll they are both good tattoo studios.
Brilliant guys we did transport first time took Canadian granson he loved it also ice cream van he’d two cones left in 75 back many times modern glasgow brilliant so alive kids all stayed in glasgow flats Buchanan st loved location
Nice video guys
I've been to most of these and I have to say the Riverside museum with all the transport history is fantastic. If you have even a passing interest in transport, cars, trains etc I'd highly recommend....But the Botanic gardens are shite haha
I'll stay in glasgow for 2 days, i hope i can do at least 6 of the things showed on this video!!!
Good stuff Mika, There is loads of other stuff to do that didn't make the list even just having a pint and speaking to locals is a really good laugh. You see some sights in Glasgow!
I though that I can speak English. After this clip I have to rethink that ;p
There’s always one, no doubt from south of the border
It's the accent 😂😂👌👌
Glasgow accent tends to miss out the "t" in words. Laziness!
I've heard much stronger Scottish accents. These two are very well spoken.
Oh this is so cute I want to visit Glasgow 😊
It is definitely a city worth visiting there are sights you will see in Glasgow you will see nowhere else both the place and the people!
Thank you ^_^
This was a kinda good look at the kinda good kinda attractions in my kinda favourite city.
Tend to stay clear of the cities but looks like Glasgow may have to be re-visited. Thanks
Desmond's Donders Yeah it's sometimes nice to check out the hidden gems of places rather than focus on where 90% of people go. You should definitely come to Glasgow and check some of these locations out, you won't be disappointed!
I live in Glasgow Jimmy but hivnae been to any these places - i used to go doon The Barras but its pish noo
Great video.. I probably needed subtitles though 😅👌
Thanks guys, really appreciate it
No worries it was fun making the top ten. If you have any questions ask away and we will do out best to answer.
Hi Guys,
I'm moving to Glasgow with my wife and son. We will have lots of time to try what you recommended:) I love mountain bike and Scotland is the Mecca of it. My son is in love with swimming and wonder if there is opportunity for it in the primary schools:)
Coming soon
Go tower I did years ago
Kewl Stuff.
Cheers Alan glad you enjoyed.
Hi Guys! I thought the vlog was well shot and packed with information. I really should see more of Scotland (I've only been to Edinburgh). I tend to avoid the UK because your neighbors to the south can be a pain in the ass IMHO! However, that's not my impression of the Scots.
One thing tho', because of lack of contact I found the dialect hard to follow at times so I turned on the sub-titles. If you want a good laugh watch your video with the subs on to see the amazing things it thinks you are saying. Good Luck!
Glad you liked the video! We did an Edinburgh vlog as well so check that out if you get a chance. Yeah the accents can be hard to understand, we should start sorting all the subtitles, i can imagine they say some crazy things! If you like what you see tho drop a sub, we would love the support and you give some pretty comprehensive feedback which is always useful for future videos!
Most indoor places seem to be shut atm. I’m coming up from London since we can’t travel internationally yet. What is open right now?
Top 10
Things to do in Glasgow~ No 1 GET OUT QUICK. A total cesspit of a place. Try living here!
Wheres the Cable Palace? did you no say its next to the botanical gardens?
You didnt mention Parkhead or Ibrox, dont they both do guided tours?
Did you know that GoMA used to be the home of a tobacco lord called William Cunninghame, if you look closely when inside and even on the outside you can see that it used to be a house.
there is a T in City not ci i
Hi there, we've really been enjoying traveling along with you, (especially as we make walks in soulful cities and have just filmed here too), so it's lovely to see your view, thank you. If you'd like to subscribe to each other, we'd like that too? Look forward to seeing more from you.
there is a gin distillery there. how much will a tour and tasting cost me? everything else i wanna do there is free.
Normally distillery tour prices start as cheap as 10/15 pounds per person and can be as high has 150 pounds per person depending on the level of the tour. For example a basic tour - £15 and a tour that involved a masterclass say where you make your own gin/whisky would be like 100/150 ! hope this helps!
@@ScunneredScotsmen awesome sauce. thats is very reasonable.. going to glasgow Oct 2019. thanks for the video!!! loved it! very siked about the hop o off bus.
No Parkheed?
I want to visit
You should for sure! Just for the people!
And I already know some of the people which is so nice!!!@@ScunneredScotsmen
DOES THAT OTHER MAN EVER BLINK HIS EYES?
Pardon?
