- In our endless journey to play every fighting game we've finally tried Thems Fightin Herds. This game is actually so good, it's somewhere between SkullGirls and UnderNight Inbirth in the best way possible. It's easy to make jokes about this game but the actual gameplay is really clean and I have to respect the care and effort the devs put in. All that said I hope you enjoy the video and have a great day.

Fun fact: Texas' worst match-up is his daughter Arizona, because of how easily he can get lasso'ed.

@@lynxrufus She's beginner friendly and lots of fun. Make sure you learn how to use her stomp move, not as powerful as Texas' stomp but still by far her best move.

Even if this isn’t in development anymore, I really hope this game continues to have life going forward in its community. It really does deserve the love its gotten
TFH is so underrated game, but nobody plays it: fighting games fans don't play it because it's MLP, but MLP fans don't play it because it's not quite MLP. Sad
It's definitely easy to brush it off as the MLP fighting game but it's so damn well made. If only people would give it a chance :/
Yeah i know this game. The tutorial is REALLY good. It explains everything, not only your character or basic combos but also provides competitive informations like frame data , advanced mechanics and such.
6:05 Thats because Them's Fightin' Herds is infact using the Skullgirls engine.
The devs from Skullgirls themselves offered it to them during development.
The aggressive button pressing in the background is the cherry on top.
I love hearing those desperate kick klacks.
This game reminds you of skullgirls cause it was made on the Skullgirls engine :O
I've followed the Mane 6 Dev team when this was first a fan-game, and between the late-project C&D, the original creator assisting with production afterwards, and the cowfunder (that's what they called it), I'm happy to see the group achieve what they first set out to do. I do hope the best for them going forward.
