@@lynxrufus The game doesn't skimp out on the story, sometimes the gameplay is put on the back burner to allow for meaningful interactions between characters, or to connect you closer to the world of the game. Often it is criticised for that, but I believe it to be a strength of the game.

Thanks for putting this out! this game totally fell under my radar and I was glad to hear you gush about it. Just have some constructive critiques I’ve been logging as I watch, hopefully to make your next your next one do better I’ll agree with the dude saying that the quote portions are pretty long winded. The longer the edgy quotes went on without context the more they felt more “shadow the hedgehog” than “tortured soul” 😅 Also if I was any less curious I would’ve clicked off instead of skipping the 3 minute explanation of what art is, we get the drill just tell us about the game!!! On a similar note for such a visually striking game it was crazy that you didn’t show any footage until 5 minutes in! There were some points where it felt like you were trying to meet a word count, I.E. towards the end of the sound design section. If you have little to say just don’t say anything. Or better yet let the game talk, show more examples you like and how they specifically make you feel. You don’t need to be an expert sound designer to simply appreciate it Lastly a lot of the bloat of talking about other games could (and should) be cut out. Ik this is ur first essay so you wanna talk about all the other games you love, love the passion, but we’re here to talk about this game So unless it’s a direct parallel you’re trying to draw, I don’t see the need to go on a minute tangent about, for example in the artstyle section, how “this art style is so unique, here are 10 other games that also have unique (but unrelated) art styles, also realistic graphics are overrated and good art is a good thing and bad art is a bad thing” Nothing factually wrong there, it’s just a tired arguments that’s everyone’s heard before and it’s not what I clicked on the video for Anyways I’ve now written an essay about your essay lmao. hope I’m not coming off as harsh, just wanna see a homie make more engaging content and grow. Plus I wanna learn about more cool games. Best of luck homie 🤙

Game was undoubtedly ass on launch but i think it gets an unnecessarily bad rap in the current day and age

@@lynxrufus Its the best sf game right now imo. SF6's gameplay is just too gambly for me. If SFV had a good netcode that would have been awesome.

I think sf6 looks better visually and also is the one I'd prolly play competetively(?) But as for fun factor I like sfv a lot more and it has such a good cast of characters
