Got this recommended to me due to the YT algorithm. It sounds like you guys were having a lot of fun. So that's made my day. The only tekken game I played was tag tournament 2. I had fun but I was just a casual.
Tekken 8 is as beginner friendly as possible. A lot of the enjoyable mechanics of Tekken is held behind executional barriers. Most of these elements are gone thus dumbing down the gameplay and watchability of the game proper. I hope its fun for the general populace but longstanding Tekken fans are not enjoying this game very much either.
As a Long time tekken fan (Since 6 onwards), i can tell you are wrong. Not every "longstanding Tekken fan" is not enyoing this game. I'm loving the hell out of it.
@@emilianovalle95 Appreciate the counter point. I for one miss movement and impactful defensive play as a cornerstone of my enjoyment of Tekken. I feel that T8 deemphasies this compared to every other tekken and that is where I am coming from.
@@daleblomgren7527the game is not dumbed down at all... Rather the emphasis has just been shifted... Before movement was everything but now there's more emphasis on aggressive defense like counterhits grabs and Armor as a sort of rock paper scissors... U can't just use movement to win anymore u actually have to consider other options... That's not dumbing down that's at all
@@levisamom5069 Enjoy your neutral-less modern fighting games I guess. People just seem to be up close and play rock-em sock-em robots with frame data. Thats cool, it seems to make the most amount of money so it would be dumb not to make a game that way.
@@daleblomgren7527 I rather play rock-paper-scissors engaging playstyle rather than who got launch first for a most of the fight. And most funny thing is,the one who hate T8 more are ''Lognstading'' fans who every single game they complaint that the franchise is not the same like when they started to play and hate most new mechanic. I am a Longstanding fan from tekken 3 and i play almost every tekken and i really love this game. Don't put us with you and the only complain the game recive until now are from people who don't wanna learn how to play or about the last micro-transsaction and mods inciddent
watching this was painful
Good
i get what u mean, but also watching complete begginers enjoy it was fun
@@wardenTKD oh it had nothing to do with the gameplay lol
although it didn't help at all!
At least they were having fun unlike 90% of depressed and frustrated ranked audience lmao
@@stanislavchugunov absolutly
Wait so the reason everyone hates Tekken is becasue there bad? I guess that makes sense...
Yeah the title/video is just clickbait drivel like the rest of his channel from what I can tell
No, it's because it strays away from the spirit of Tekken games before it
@@qYdS_6650 There is no "spirit of Tekken". Only players and whiners.
I'm skilled at the game man trust (plays king special style)
I'm way better at Tekken than these guys and I freaking hate 8.

Honestly tekken is best enjoyed casually, everyone I see competing seems miserable but I had a blast
@@lynxrufus yeah. People who take games too seriously take the fun out of it.

I need of a machine that can run this mess
please @Lynx Rufus
So if you don't win often, its a bad game? Okay...😅 I don't win that much either and i love it
Oh no, that has nothing go do with it. Idc how much I win, also I had fun, idk if I'd say tekken is bad
wish i had friends to play tekken man it look soo fun
Harada needs to protect these kind of noobs to play the game as long as possible. Ez money maker sources 😅😅
Indeed, most devs want new players who have a fun time playing the game astute observation
Harada better protect YOU tonight bro
So because you are bad Tekken 8 is bad?
