Solid tutorial. I'd love to see how you rig this character! So many tutorials show rigging with Rigify but dont cover it for non humanoid characters.
Thank you! Good to know, it’s relatively simple. I’ll make this my next upload 👌🏻
great video! can you do one with a full humanoid character? thanks!
Amazing insights Savannah. I'm just starting my Blender journey after several years off and on. I've saved your video into a playlist for reference and of course I liked and subscribed.
Thank you!
I really want to say thank you as this is the only tutorial that really stuck with me!
I’m so glad, that’s awesome to hear!
This was very useful! And she really is adorable
Absolutely love this video! This has helped me significantly with understanding modeling characters! Just as a quick question, how might one approach modeling legs? Do you apply a similar technique to that of the arms, or do you have a different process?
It is pretty much the same process as the arms, but you just have to shape the legs differently. Its honestly not even that different than the tail :) I would recommend extruding a straight cylinder down and block out the foot, then you can go back in and add edge loops where you need more control over the shape (like the knee). Hope that helps!
@@savannahlazo I'll give it a shot. Thank you!
Very nice!
thank you
like it❤️
hey thank you so much for the tutorial! just asking when you’re doing the hands suddenly the model turned smooth? i was wondering how to do that
In object mode, select your object and then right click and hit shade smooth!
