Ford fiesta zetec 2010 copart salvage rebuild pt1
This video i work on the front end of this fiesta removing the old bumper and slam panel with crash bar take out the rad and fit it in the new slam panel and refit the crash bar back in place.
I also fit a new cam cover gasket because oil is leaking out the back so needs changing .

Nice looking car when it's finished, my first new car was a mk2 fiesta, it looks the same colour. These cars have come a long way since then. I slow the time lapse down, so that's not a problem for me. I got my C&G many years ago and got out of the motor trade, and went into building maintenance. I then got my C&G as an electrician but have now retired after working for myself for about 15 years. I now have two fords, a sportka and a streetka which I maintain myself together with my kids cars. I would love to be able to use my garage, but it just full of tools. Personally I don’t mind the time lapse. However. I think what some people want to see the basics, for example (to remove the bumper you need to unclip here, here and here. And bolts can be found here here and here)

£2000 tops for a pre face lift and it’s red which red cars are harder. So be happy with the 2k.
I wouldn’t personally take the rads off and just put the new rad pack hosing on around it. You’re doing right by lining it up while the bumper is off and if the headlights are too high or too low you can undo the 13s on the slam panel. Jack under it and slowly lift the jack up so it’s perfect and then tighten your 13s up.

There's an INA cambelt sticker on the bonnet. Usually the mileage and date is recorded on there. 👍

Thanks Richard I do use Gala motors mate but are expensive for parts but some times get a good deal and I use gasket mastic for the cam cover 👍👍

@@ResurwreckAutosUK it just looked like the key you were using wasn’t a three button one. I guess it might be the pre folding blade type. No worries.

😂No mate had a close cool I was using a grinder without safety glasses not good
@@ResurwreckAutosUK shit you was lucky, my mate was gutting through an exhaust with a 9" grinder and it grabbed bounced and cut through his jaw and slit his throat lucky he survived so always wear the right protection
I think you should try and work on a limited number of different types of car. You will get to know the std faults and your repair times will be quicker due to familiarity. Only drawback might be the content becomes a bit samey, but after all your doing this to make a profit aren't you?
