Its very easy to do. I am all over the place as always in this video. However you are watching most of it in real time as I make this fun little table runner.

I see peace of mind, I love your tutorials, you are my inspiration for quilting!!! WIN
Thanks 😊
This runner makes me smile 😊
Excellent Tiffany, Karen B., Carol T. And Becca say doing a couple small projects, the feeling of accomplishment, helps get your sew jo back. 😀
So true!
Absolutely gorgeous. I feel that pressing as you go along makes for a finer finish. Especially when gift giving and selling your items. I know personally I would not buy something that looks scruffy. Thank you for your tutorial, you are a great inspiration to me, I have had no training at all using a sewing machine I have only watched people sewing taking notes and now RUclips videos that I have learned the fab art of quilting and other sewing patterns and techniques ❤
Thank you 😊
I love your work! wish I could sew all day too! greetings from the Netherlands
Loving your videos. I am so glad whenever I can watch, listen, and learn from you!
Awesome! Thank you!
You are a fabulous teacher, Tiffany
Love the color way!
The green binding makes it look like grass the flowers are growing in.
Sure does 😊
I agree 💯👍🏻

I think it's adorable and love the fabric prints.
Turned out beautiful. I love the green binding. It finished it beautifully.
Your are a super person! 🎉 thanks for sharing how we all make mistakes even the experts!
Thank you Tiffany. You are so knowledgeable and so kind to share your knowledge. This table runner turned out beautifully.
Thank you so much!
This looks like a lot of fun! I may try it for a housewarming gift I need soon.
I was wondering about the green for the binding but you are so on point. It's great. I didn't even know the strips had green so it's perfect! I love watching you because it's a big help to me being so ridged. Thanks 😊
Your welcome 😊
Thanks so much Tiffany. The green binding worked perfectly.
Another great video 🪡🧵 have a fun sew day🪻
Thanks for doing this with a walking foot. I don’t have a long arm so this is great!
Thank you Tiffany. Your table runner looks very pretty.
Liked video very much. Txs for sharing.
Love this!!!
Great tutorial.
Useful. Going to work on changing a pants zipper right now.
Beautiful Table Runner. I am going to try to make one.
Very pretty Tiffany.
Love that runner you inspired me and for that thank you 😊🌻
I'm so glad!
I need to make some . Thanks fot sharing
I love your style…. 👋🥰🇦🇺❤️
Love it. I need to make something to lay across my dad's antique dresser that I finally got but not sure what design to go with. It is going in my sewing room.
Well this is fun and easy and quick.
I like your improv!
I really love like the way you use the green for binding. Enjoyed the video
Great job Tiffany 😊
Thank you!! 😊
Hello Tiffany, quick project from start to finish. Very nice,I am going to try it after I get this king size quilt done. It will be nice to work on a smaller project. I really enjoy your videos. Have a good day.
Have fun!
I did a Halloween table runner like this. In the middle of the runner I pieced a square (18x18”) block that I machine embroidered “Happy Halloween” using an embroidery pattern, then placed the strips on both sides of that square. I think mine was probably more like 70” long though, because I have a longer table where I used it. So fun to use up those random left over scraps and make something fun. Thanks for sharing your great idea!
Sounds like you made a fun table runner 😊
Love it ❤
I love your table runner. On a QAYG project with mirror design you can find the center and work your way out in both directions. Then any excess will be evenly divided on each side and you can add more strips to each continuing the mirror design. Thank you for a fantastic gift idea.
Ya I know. I wasn't originally gonna do a mirror look, I wanted to scrap the strips. They just didn't look right all messy though as you seen in the video haha. It's fun no matter the way 🙂
It really is beautiful. I am definitely going to try it and make some seasonal gifts
Thanks Tiffany👍 That runner is just so pretty, and the green is really special. Looks like rippling grass. As usual, you inspire me to get out of my comfort zone. Hope you and Scott and Thumper well and happy. ❤️🇦🇺
Thanks so much! 😊
I LOVE WHAT YOU DO.
That's a good idea for binding. You're doing everything all at once, that's fantastic😊❤
Thank you! 😊
It turned out gorgeous
I love it so much 💞. You make it so easy ❤❤ great project ❤
The second one it beautiful it’s my favorite color my husband like the first’s one.
Love this runner! I usually sew the binding onto the front side, then hand stitch it down on the back side, but stitching it the way you did would be a lot sturdier for something like a baby quilt or a table runner that will get laundered a lot more often than a large quilt. Thank you!
Ya it definitely holds up great being washed so much. I've not had anything hand bound so I'm not sure how that stays with quilts needing lots of washing
Your walking foot is more of a running foot!! lol I love qayg!! It turned out pretty
Ya lol 😆
I really love how this turned out! It's so awesome to watch tutorials on my TV, but all I can do is hit the like or subscribe buttons, so I've got your voice echoing so I can share a comment! I really love your enthusiasm, take care of corrections, and allow for inspiration! I love it, every bit!!! ❤ Thank you!!!
Thank you so much!
Love it!!
The table runner is beautiful. I believe the jellyroll strips are from the Riley Blake line.
Ahhh good to know. There wasn't any guessable writing on what parts of the selvage I had haha
Good choice on using the backing fabric as binding. Thanks for showing us how easy it is to QAYG a lovely table runner❣️
Thank you! 😊
The green was perfect for the pop! I love the end piece❤
That is just adorable , thanks for taking us on the journey Tiffany !!
I've been trying too find..my FIRST..quilt!!!..THIS..is..it........I've..been..sewing..for..awhile......I'm..only 77..!!! Grandma...and..Mom..taught me...I..LOVE..sewing........THANK..YOU..!!x x Barb
You can do it!
Hi, Tiffany. I just found your channel and see that you are in Lake Havasu! You are my neighbor! I live in Bullhead City! I’m loving your channel. ❤❤❤
That's great 👍 just a hop, skip and a jump away 😊
Thank you! Learned a lot! Love no music!😊
That’s awesome! I’ve been wanting to make one for my new table in my new tiny home. It’s going to have to be this one!! Thanks, Tiffany! Another amazing tutorial!!
Have fun!
Beautiful
Beautiful ❤️
Nice color combo and an easy table runner using up, strips.
I love it! Great job
Thank you for leaving your “at then end of the binding boo boo” in there!! It was helpful for me to watch how that could be fixed!! Just learning binding so it’s scary for me. Seeing you just regroup, repair and move on is a huge boost for my brain. If that makes sense haha. ❤
Glad it was helpful!
Awesome, I love ❤️ it
Good morning Tiffany
Good morning!
De Colombia, gracias me gusta mucho tu trabajo, muy limpio ,organizado y el pasado a paso muy bien, fácil de aprender y seguir. FELICITACIONES.👏👏👏🤩😊
Thank you 😊
I like the table runner a lot 🤩. Very pretty. The green backing has a lot of blue tones in it, making it perfect for the binding. Thanks for the video 😊.
Thanks so much! 😊
Another ''beaut'' ....and BTW...the background music you use for the ''quick thru'' part is really nice....l usually can't stand the ''edgy'' music that others use. So, just one more reason why your videos are so enjoyable. 💟 Also,,,,l am a bit of a ''mad scientist'' both in the kitchen and the sewing machine....so l like your ''as you go along'' style. 💟
Thank you 😊
Thanks for the fun project and thanks for the reminder about nozzle clogs on the basting spray-I forgot the other day but I try to clear the nozzle by turning the can upside down after I am done using it and spraying until just air comes out. (Like you do for spray paint etc.) I have 5 baby/toddler quilts to quilt on my DM this weekend so starting off with your video to get into the sewing groove!
Have fun sewing 😃
I noticed you own a juki...I use to have one, a table size. Commercial
I no longer have it, but I am thinking of buying another.
Great machines, love their quality sewing.
Yes I use a Juki TL-2010Q and Love it! I own 2 of them and I have a Juki HZL-F600 and a industrial for bags and mix heavy weight materials. Here is a link to the juki I mainly use for piecing shrsl.com/4e817
I really enjoy your videos. You make it look so easy I almost think I could do it.
You can do it!
Love how you can create such lovely quilts!
You make it look so easy. Thank you so much.
Thank you for sharing I was so unaware of the 1/4 inch 😂
Tiffany you make it so easy❤Love you.
You can do it too 😉
Beautiful I love the green on it ❤
You are blessed for space that you can lay it out all flat. I can't do that due to a shortage of space. I do it in blocks (10" x 10" blocks) and then simply sew them together and then I don't mess about with the binding the way you do it. I turn it inside out. Booooom! done!!!
I do the turn method as well on table runners.
I think it is beautiful!
Thank you Tiffany. Great project❤
Very beautiful and you have taught me a new lesson!!! Think ima make one or several with all my Christmas stash!! Thank you !!!! Love your channel
Wonderful, have fun making some Christmas runners 😉
Awesome table runner, love the fabrics.thanks for sharing 👍❤️😊
Thank you for sharing this with us. I am excited to try this, maybe for Thanksgiving 🦃.
You are so talented and clever. This was fun to see it come together. You are an excellent instructor, you demonstrate and explain everything so well. I really appreciate it. Thank you again. 🎉🍀💖🤟🦓🇺🇸💡✂️🪡🧵
You are so welcome!
Looks great. Thank you ❤❤❤❤❤
It’s gorgeous!
Love the topper! I agree with you on hand sewing! Not for me either!
Looks lovely x well done x
That looks awesome I just found you love the table runner so I am going to make it in Christmas fabric. Excited to get at it. From Ontario Canada.
Have fun!
I learned a lot. Thanks.
Super cute! ❤
What stitch length did you change to? For your 45" wide piece, how many strips did you use? I'm thinking of this for a lady who found out she has cancer again.❤( quilt)❤❤
I used 11 of the scrap jelly roll strips and I had 1 remaining half of a strip left. So in total 22 half strips, but I used the scraps to do the pieced pieces and that would make 24- ¹/² strips if you don't do a pieced unit on it. I used a 2.4 stitch length to piece it and a 3.0 to bind it.
Love this quick and easy project. A great way to use up extra fabric. What size was your binding?
I used 2 ¹/² like normal 😊
Love it.
Love it!
Beautiful as always 😊. Can you tell us ; if I’m not mistaking, something different must be done for the binding of a show quilt … thanks.
No, I just take my time and make sure I keep a consistent straight sew line and for shows I match the thread color to the binding. But there is no specific rules on binding for shows.
Very cute 😊
Thank you 😊
Hi Tiffany. I just purchased a Juki TL2010 Q and love it. I am finding that when I use my scissor button or my front foot pedal cutter my needle becomes I threaded lots of times. Do you find this to happen?
It happens if you start off too fast, or when you run your project across the front of your machine and it hits the needle and pulls the thread out. Happens often to me. You would think I am use to it. But when I am rushing it always happens.
Your new walking foot is not as noisy as the old one! Maybe you gonna like it now....
It's slightly lesser of a machine gun sound 😄 🤣
I love your videos. I can’t use basting spray because for some reason my long arm does not like it and I am continually breaking needles. It took me to wild to figure out that it was the spray.
I'm assuming you have a baste first frame then 🤔 I hope you found a solution 😉
Actually since this is done on a domestic it’s not a problem. I have a sit down long arm and my needles gum up with the basting spray. I love watching your videos as much as I love watching Donna Jordan’s videos
Thank you 😊
Into Purple - should be the name of this table runner
What kind of snips do you use at the sewing machine? Like that table runner.
They are just a off brand snips that I got on ebay or Amazon.
Love this!! Thank you for sharing. What kind of rotary cutter is that? I'm new to quilting and have not seen this type before.
It's a Martelli Ergonomic Cutter shrsl.com/4bx6v
Such a cheerful runner! I am anxious to try this technique! Many thanks!
You can do it!
😊
Tiffany do you drop your feed dog when quilting? If so how. I have the same machine. I so enjoy watching you do tutorials. ❤️
It's a lever on the front below the reverse
