Very nice video of beautiful Utah. If you haven’t traveled highway 12 from Bryce National Park to Torrey Utah I highly recommend you do so sometime in your life. It’s one of the prettiest drives in America

Andrea Lumpp Hi Andrea. The main handheld camera is a 5-year-old Sony HDR XR-200. Decent image quality in bright light and very good optical stabilization. From time to time I also use my Nikon D5100 DSLR, especially when it is dark.
Love your videos. What month did you go and what was the temp? How long did you spend visiting those 3 lookout point in Bryce NP? I want to squeeze in Bryce just like you did but might only have a couple of day light hours during 4-7pm in the first week of April. Do you think its worth it.? Is it dangerous to drive after dark?
Thank you. We didn't drive after dark, but all we had was about 3 hours as well. It was well worth it but I wish we would have had time to do at least one of the trails.
I think you could use an RC Quad Copter with a go pro attached. You'd be able to capture aerial footage and give your video's a unique perspective. Have fun on your next adventure.
I got myself an MX-2 aerobatic plane without camera but fun none the less, scary at times; fear of crashing. Also the flight times have been smashed from a mere 10 min to above 30min for certain quadcopters. I get around 15 min from a 3000 mah battery depending how aggressively I fly and my plane is over a meter in length and width. It's my first plane and in hindsight I would have made a few changes where the theory and practical don't meet also choice of transmitter, But if you would like a second opinion or just a chin wag don't hesitate to contact me i'm sure I would be able to mention something the manufactures conveniently forget to mention.
I'd recommend a hobby grade that way you won't be restricted by the manufacturer's limitations i.e DJI overpriced battery or the basic transmitter. 450 or 500 size should be just right to carry around. You could save on the extra features like GPS tracking or you could add it later. A nice camera gimbal to keep the video steady while the copter rocks and vibrates and a headset is a must. Some people like to build their models if that's you then you can save even more or you can have the parts you want put together by someone, usually the person you buy the parts from. Have fun and window shop like crazy before you settle on something you've thoroughly questioned (it's what they don't say you need to pick up on!).
madmarikhy Hi. I've got the Hero 3 White edition and it works great for me.I do some color correction after the fact because the unprocessed image is a little bit washed out and too warm for my taste. Otherwise a great virtually unbreakable camera.

Hello Robert, we are planning to visit Bryce and we have a 17ft travel trailer with us. Was there any restriction to drive around Bryce Viewpoints?
