Not a good idea to admonish people to continue in error. Christ is Sabbath and those who do not enter His rest will never have sabbathed, very sad.
Please provide Scripture proof that Christ Himself gives the declaration that He is our SABBATH rest and also His Express COMMAND THAT because of this the seventh day Sabbath commandment of His Holy Law is no longer binding.

Your misguided interpretation does not invalidate a single commandment from His Holy Law.
Christ gives us rest of course; what He doesn’t do is ask us to break His Law in order to enter His rest. On the contrary, the book of Hebrews, in chapter 4 gives us an example of when God’s people are obedient. They are then allowed to enter His rest. We are told in scripture that because of the disobedience of Israel they were not able to enter into his rest. Faith and obedience, go hand-in-hand, just as faithlessness and unbelief go hand-in-hand with sin and transgression.. Hebrews 4 tell says that on the contrary, there remains a sabbath rest for God’s people. Th the word that is critical there is the word remains.; something cannot remain if it first wasn’t there to begin with. Remaining remains that it will continue. Hebrews tells us that we are to rest as God rested when he completed creation. The Bible cannot be more clearer. To continue transgressing the Sabbath and finding excuses to break it, and then feel spiritual about it is a disgrace.
You are the one who should steer clear from encouraging people to break God’s Law. Or have you forgotten Jesus’s own admonition against those who do such things?

It is not your warning, opinions, or comments that matter to me, but Christ and His words do matter to me. I choose Christ and trust me. He does give me a rest. He will give me rest, and he forever will be my rest. It is ridiculous to even contemplate the thought that in order to enter His rest, I must break his law that is actually was Satan wants us to believe.
I hope that God’s Spirit can convict you and that you will not be rebellious. Enough said.

The key is rest here is referenced with this old testament passage.
'For he has somewhere spoken of the seventh day in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all his works.”'
This directly referencing the Sabbath Day at the end of creation. Therefore rest is Sabbath here, yes it is (I can already hear your objections and cries).
'Again he appoints a certain day, “Today,” saying through David so long afterward, in the words already quoted, “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.”'
The Sabbath Day is 'Today' and the reference to not hardening your hearts is towards Christ. As James says,
'Now I want to remind you, although you once fully knew it, that Jesus, who saved a people out of the land of Egypt'
Therefore that day is today which is rejected, which is rest, which is Sabbath, which is only found in Christ, which rest they fail to enter.

Christ is the bridegroom, and Christians are the bride. Does this abolish marriage between husbands and wives? No! The two Edenic institutions, Sabbath and marriage, point to a greater reality in Christ, but that does not mean they are abolished. Do you turn your doorknob or open your car door on the sabbath. That is considered work. Just like when Jesus told the cured man to pick up his bed and walk. It was on the sabbath and the Pharisees were outraged because it was not lawful for him to do so. Using your hands to turn a doorknob is work. Matter of fact some people do that for a living. Open a door for people entering. Making a bed, cleaning up after a child, pouring a glass of water, or even lifting a glass or bottle to your mouth is considered work.
@@paulgemme6056 Jesus healed and helped others on the Sabbath,and also went to temple to worship God and fellowship with believers. He also spent time in nature and in prayer with God . Jesus has the right way to keep the Sabbath, not the Pharisees which you seem to be speaking of.

When his disciples were hungry and began to eat the ears of corn was it Jesus that got upset and told them to stop eating because it is not lawful ?
We read it was the Pharisees that got all hot and bothered.
David went into the house of God and ate the show bread that only the priests where suppose to eat. Did David lose his salvation ? It was not lawful for him to eat.
Or have you not read in the law, how on the Sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath, and are blameless?
But if you had known what this meaneth, I will have Mercy, and not sacrifice, you would not have condemned the guiltless.

It is only because of the riches of God's Grace and Mercy that we are saved not because of anything we have done or haven't done. Not because of anything we will do ( good or bad ) or will ever do or not do.
We can lose rewards or gain rewards but we can not lose the gift of salvation; It is a gift given freely because God's Grace/love is greater than our sin.
Read Romans, Galatians, Ephesians all Paul's letters to the churches who where true believers and not false brethren which Paul had to deal with a lot. Preaching a false gospel. He said let them be accursed.
Really read and study so that when you hear false doctrine being taught you will be able to see all the red flags.
The truth will set us free. Free from sin and free from the law. It already has set us free, those who believe it. ( the truth )
We should rest and honor him on every day . Because he ( Jesus ) is our everything. Including the Sabbath.
In many languages Saturday is Sobota or Sabado. We have been keeping Sabbath for the last month and we are so glad God led us to this.

Same. It's part of His commandments and was the day He rested after creating us. So it's super special. We all need that guaranteed,sanctified rest. So we can be refreshed and keep our relationship strong with Him.

Rosa Estrada... There's many good explanations out there. But I truly believe I can convince you to a better explanation... please care to read... Juan 1:3 and Colossians 1:16 tells you Jesus created everything and nothing was made without him. This means... He also made the Sabbath. Matthew 12:8 Jesus lets us know he is the Sabbath and in Matthew 11:28 tells us he will give us rest... So all this tells me. We can rest any day in him. We don't need to wait for the Sabbath to kept it holy.
En Deuteronomy 5:14-15 and Exodus 31:16-17 tells you the reason why the Sabbath and for who...
En Colosenses 2:14-17 and Galatians 4:9-10. Give you the evidence. That Jesus nail the law to the cross... And took it away. So no one can judge you to what you do on a Sabbeth. En Galatians, it questions the church why go back to those slaved times in which they had to keep certain days. The ones that were bought out of slavery was Isreal, not us. And this goes back to who they were talking about in Deuteronomy 5:15-15 and Exodus 3:16-17
In Acts 20:7 and 1 Corinthians 16:1-2 gives you the idea in which they got together and tought. Even when not being around Paul; the church is to continue doing certain church activities. This happen on the *first.* Not a Sabbeth.
Those who were still stuck in those traditions like; holding on to the Sabbeth. Whom were Jews that didn't believe what Paul would preach to them. He was even insulted and mocked. So he left them with there beliefs. This happen on a Saturday. we can see this in Acts 18:5-6. So he went to witness to the non-jews on that certain day.
Jesus in Matthew 5:17 lets us know that he didn't come to erease the law, but to full fill them. *However.....* In Matthew 22:36-39 and in Matthew 19:17-21 Jesus didn't mention the Sabbeth. Maybe because he is really the Sabbath as he mention. Jesus only mention the Sabbath to do good. Matthew 12:12.
In conclusion: Jesus is the Sabbeth. He nailed it to the cross which is himself. We can go to Jesus anytime. We don't have to wait for a Sabbeth to get to him, but if you practice the Sabbeth... Is like Paul going back to you... Questioning why go back to those worthless practices? Where you slaved like; the Israelites? This commend was given to Isreal and the rest of the commandments were given to them, but that certain one was more like a bond between God and them.
There a difference between what was scripture in those days... And what we have as bible today.

One of the commandments was remember the Sabbeth day to keep it holy. Okay. This is an actual day... Yes. But here's another 2 questions. For who was the Sabbath? and the reason why it was to be a commend?
Before I answer these questions biblically. Remember, we must understand what was bible in those particular living events. And what we have as bible today.
Let's first start with the old testament... Deuteronomy 5:14-15. God orders to keep the Sabbath in remembrance of them being led out of Egypt which they were under slavery. Exodus 31:16-17 shows Isreal is to absorb the Sabbath from generation to generation. And that the Sabbath is to be between God and Isreal. Okey... So, now we know why the Sabbeth was given, right? Okey, moving forward.
In the new testament. We see that Jesus now is the Sabbath. Its not no more a day. We can see this in Matthew 12:8. So, the Sabbath now is Jesus... We don't need to follow what was from generation to generation anymore. We find rest in Jesus. We can see this in Matthew 11:28.
So, why do I say the Sabbeth ends with Jesus? It is proven that when Jesus died he took that written law. So, now we can do whatever we want on any Sabbath which we can live on any day it ends. We can see this in Colossians 2:14-17. Jesus nail the Sabbath to the cross because he is the Sabbeth. Remember, Jesus never mentions the Sabbath as one of the commandments. He only mention we should do good on the Sabbath in which we can do any day.
If you follow the Sabbath as tradition, which was given to those that were brought out of slavery this means. Paul writes to people like you who follow the Sabbath in Galatians 4:9-10. He says, why go back to those principles with no value? You want to return to being slaves? You're still keeping in the days. Which can land on a festival. Any month or years.
The Sabbath can land on any day threw out the hole year. But keeping them is now a why? So, in the beginning of the verse tells you. Now that you know God, or better yet... Now that God knows you.

Jesus said that if a pharisee teach the law of Moses, we have to obey, but if they teach their laws of men (Talmud, Mishna, Kabala, etc) we have to disobey to them.
There is a lot of misleading about the word law. Yeshua never dismissed the law of moses or the prophets, never. He told everyone of us in Matthew, please read carefully:

He was starting his ministry, building the base for all his teachings, so he was very clear, he did not come to abolish the Torah and the Prophets. Besides, I do not want to be called "the least" by my Lord, do you? We will face him soon, what explanation will be valid for such insubordination? The moadims (Holy Convocations) come from the Lord, he call his people.
It is not about rationalizing what God said, it is about obeying what he commanded. remember:
For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

God made a covenant with his people, Israel, all whonbelieve in the only God and his Mesiah Yeshua (who is God himself), so all his promises are conditional, and depends on our obedience to our Mesiah.
Let us not deceive ourselves if we say that we love him and do not obey his commandments, we are liars. So love the Lord with all our hearts and show our love for him by doing what he tells us to do. Our salvation is by faith, but faith without works is dead, and a dead faith is religion, is useless.

I have grown up as a Seventh-day Adventist, so it has been no hardship for me to keep the sabbath. My respect to those who make the change at risk of losing relationships with family and friends. There are many of us who worship according to God's original plan. If you ask Him, surely God will guide you to new fellowship with like believers.
I am glad that you are setting apart a day to worship god, but through much research I have come to know that the day of worship for those in the new testament is the first day or the lords day. many people quote Christ saying that He didn't come to destroy the law but to fulfill it. some would say that because Christ didn't come to Destroy the law we still must follow all of the Jewish laws, but it is made very clear in the new testament that in fulfilling the law, it was CHANGED. Hebrews 7: 12 says, "For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law." in this change from the old testament to the new testament many laws were changed, or even discontinued. An example of a changed law is animal sacrifice. to receive remission of sins in the old testament people had to sacrifice a perfect lamb to have their sins forgiven and cleansed. Now we take the sacrament or Lords supper to receive a remission of sins. As for the sabbath it is clear that under the old testament it was the seventh day, but in the bible we read of the disciples meeting together on the first day of the week to have their worship services which included the saints meeting together, taking of the lords supper ( a changed law), and receiving preaching from church leaders. If you study early christian history you see that they were no longer observing the sabbath, but worshiping on the lords day long before 320 A.D. ( many claim that the sabbath was changed by the Roman Emperor this year). please do your own research and ask god to guide your study and give you answers.

I'm a Christian, Anglican or protestant as people call it. I read the Bible for myself when I started to get to my own consciousness and found out that Sabbath is indeed Saturday not Sunday. I questioned my parents why we keep Sunday but they told me that it's because the Lord resurrected on Sunday but I wasn't satisfied. I went before the Lord for myself for many times until I became mature enough to understand what He was saying. Even after he had confirmed to me that He still means His Sabbath. You know it's not easy to break down traditions that have been for long, I went out to work on the Sabbath day, not out of stubbornness but I prayed for God to show me a sign if I should keep the Sabbath. To be honest with you He did it, and the sign was painful, it costed me a full week's labour. I'm glad to tell you today that though fellowshipping in an Anglican church, I keep the Biblical Sabbath.

@@agapephilerostorgeI don't get why people are so amazed except legalistic & the selfish. Not condemning them because I too struggled with that. There are good lessons as to why we don't have to keep the sabbath, many on why we have to. Those on the teachings of why we must are the same as why we don't. It is just crystal clear that nothing in scripture says conclusively that Saturday is done away with. So called church fathers diluted much of the gospel after the death of the Apostles and just like all men, we are corrupt and all that remains true is the Word. Sunday is the day our Lord rose again & conquered death, why wouldn't we gather to praise, pray & worship with like minded believers. It's taught one-way or the other on both sides. I have peace honoring both days. Inconvenient to my flesh to have no me days even though I just had 5 of those. I believe many do both days and a good church won't judge you for that. I don't get up & criticize anyone for not obeying Saturday & crossing it over to Sunday but I do stand up against those sabbath keepers of the SDA & HRM that claim my Sunday attendance is sinful & wrong. The peace of GOD matters to me

In over 100 languages of the world, the word for the 7th day is sabbath or rest day. When God changed the languages (Gen 11) at the Tower of Babel, EVERYONE knew what day the Sabbath was.

The main point SDA claims is Worship should be on Saturday. This fails miserably as we see in the bible a number of references where the followers met and worshiped (also "held a collection") on Sunday - they went to the Synagogue on Saturday to convert and spread the Word. ... Acts 20:7 and 1 Corinthians 16:1-2 let's us know they got together to teach the word. Even, when not being around Paul they would have to do the things the church would still have to do... These 2 verses let's us know they did church gatherings on the first day.
We were to find rest on the Sabbath. But now we find rest in Jesus. See also Matthew 11:28.

if a law is changed in my little town - there are discussions, debates, news coverage in papers and on television. there may be voting and council meetings as well!
yet not once in all the Bible does it ever show a dispute about whether or not a Command from our Creator is kept!
even Jesus Christ - when answering Matt 24:3 (70AD and end days) - shows that HE fully expects His to be keeping the Holy day in prayer and reverence - see Matt 24:20.

This is excellent. I'm a Christian and I practice the Sabbath. I also eat the Passover meal as laid out in Exodus. This starkly contrasts with my Christian friends and family who deem this, "practicing the law". I'm just trying to get it right, and I thank Yeshua for His grace and mercy as I learn. Thank you for your ministry.

I find it very difficult to believe, if the law was done away with, that He would have done this. To say the Law/Torah was done away with is to say God's word is done away with. What are the ramifications of that? It means we diminish the Word of God, we diminish God This is heartbreaking to think about. Deeper study of scripture reveals that Jesus IS the Torah. He is the I AM of Exodus and He declared it in the Garden when all the soldiers fell backward.
I believe this is the narrow path of which Jesus told of.

But I was inculcated with a message that didn't align with what I was reading. So I left and started studying on my own until I met a Rabbi, who is a Messianic Jew and he taught me so much. It is a beautiful thing to want to keep the sabbath and passover meals if you so desire In your heart in faith and obedience out of genuine love for the Lord. But if you somehow think you are "more blessed" by this you are being self righteous and doing it to gain favor amongst men and dare i even say the Lord. Read galatians to clear this up, as Paul specifically talks about those who still practice the laws to seem more righteous. The true Sabbath Rest for New Testament Christian believers is seen in Hebrews 4:9-10 There remains therefore a sabbath rest for the people of God. Jesus is the Sabbath. Matthew 12:8. In the New testament. Matthew 19:17-21 and Matthew 22:36-39. Jesus never mention the Sabbath as being one of the 10. Maybe because he was literally the Sabbath.
When Jesus died on the cross. As him being the Sabbath; the Sabbath was also put to death. So we shouldnt keep the Sabbath or any other day. Because that action took away that commandment. We can see that all of this in colosenses 2:14-17.

My friend , I'm not SDA
Unfortunately many churches including the one I go too is declaring that Sunday is the Sabbath. When my pastor said this I automatically thought that my Lord Jesus did not abolish the law and many are being taught false teachings.
I value the Sabbath very much and it brings me closer to God. I don't just read or learn about Jesus on Sabbath day and in church on Sunday, BUT throughout the whole week, but Sabbath from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown is a whole day dedicated to my Lord Saviour. A whole day I put aside problems in life and unwind and relax learning about my Heavenly Father is absolute treasure.
Thank you my Heavenly Father for this special day.

I've only been a Christian for less than a year and I've been racking my brain over this one for almost as long. I learned early on that there is a LOT of false teachers/teachings out there. And since I've been doing this mostly on my own and not in a church I've tried to stick to what is strictly biblically accurate. I feel strongly convicted about this now. I'm going to have to figure out how to rearrange my entire schedule now. I've been doing all of my medical appointments on Saturdays.

This is something that has always been on my mind too about keeping the Sabbath Day as I started reading the Bible when I reconciled with Christ (back in 2013) and went to church on Sundays because that's what I was brought up to believe was the day all Christians worship God. I left it alone and didn't question it much but now I am after having a personal encounter with Jesus, reading the story of Noah again....which is similar to times we are living again...on my search for answers I came across a documentary called "The Days of Noah" on Prime Video, it led me to search even more on how to keep the Sabbath. How can I worship as a Christian on the Sabbath? and how have you arranged your time and schedule now? as I am now working Saturdays half day and my current church has worship on Sundays. Where do I start? I need guidance and like-minded people.

However, I promise you if you pray about it and ask God to provide work for you where you can have the Sabbath (Saturdays) off and put God first he will put you first. Start by spending your Saturdays simply talking to God and refraining from secular things like your entertainment etc. Your life, mental and physical health will improve. I prayed one morning a few years ago, about going to church as of tried to find a church, and the Lord gave me Hebrews 4. 6 saying keeping the sabbath is resting in Him. Faith Rest all day every day. If we don't we fall short. Nothing pleases Jesus more than resting in Him.

The Sabbath is a sign between Jesus and us that we may know that He is the Lord our God Who sanctifies us (Ezekiel 20:20 & Exodus 31:17).
1) Early Christians worshiped on Sundays.
In the Holy Bible, we read that the disciples of Jesus were plucking heads of grain and eating them on the Sabbath when such was forbidden under Jewish law. [Mt. 12:1-8; Mk. 2:24-26; Lk. 6:1-5] “Now that day was a Sabbath. So the Jews said to the man who had been cured, ‘It is the Sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your mat.’ But he answered them, ‘The man who made me well said to me, ‘Take up your matt and walk.’” [John 5:10-11]
From the above passages, we see that Jesus did not set strict restrictions regarding the Sabbath. In fact, Jesus proclaimed Himself as the Lord of the Sabbath. “Then He (Jesus) said to them, ‘The Son of Man (Jesus) is lord of the Sabbath.” [Lk. 6:5] Therefore, it is up to Jesus to determine what can and what cannot be done on the Sabbath.
Elsewhere in the Holy Bible, we read that Saint Paul informed the Colossians that they should not be disturbed by those who condemn them for observing the Sabbath. “Therefore do not let anyone condemn you in matters of food and drink, or of observing festivals, new moons, or Sabbaths.” [Colossians 2:16-17]
Why did he inform the Colossians not to be disturbed because of their worship on Sundays? It is because from the early days of the Church, Christian worship took place on Sundays, not on Saturday. This was implemented to recognize who the Christians were. The Jewish people worshiped on the Sabbath in the Synagogues. The Christians worshiped on Sundays in their homes, in the catacombs, any place that was convenient and safe.
2) The Catholic Church possesses the Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven.
Jesus said to Peter, “I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in Heaven.” [Matthew 16:19] Jesus gave Peter the authority to change the day of worship from Saturday to Sunday. And Peter, having been with Jesus during His ministry, and having seen the actions of Jesus on the Sabbath, did use that authority under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
3) The Resurrection was on a Sunday.
Jesus resurrected on the Sunday, not on the Saturday. Through the glorious Resurrection, Jesus elevated the Sunday as a day of importance, it having become “the Day of the Lord.” Jesus could have resurrected on the Saturday, but He chose the Sunday. Surely, this was a sign to the Apostles during the early days of the Church.
And so the early day Christians met on Sunday to worship. “On the first day of the week, when we met to break bread, Paul was holding a discussion with them: since he intended to leave the next day...” [Acts 20:7]
Did you know that the origin of the Church collection on Sunday is in the Holy Bible? “Now concerning the collection for the saints: you should follow the directions I gave to the churches of Galatia. On the first day of every week, each of you is to put aside and save whatever extra you earn, so that collections need not be taken when I come.” [1 Cor. 16:1-2]
4) Pentecost Sunday.
The Holy Spirit chose to come to the Catholic Church on the Sunday.
Therefore, those who worship on the Saturday, they do not recognize the tradition of the Church since its early days. They do not recognize Jesus’ gift to the Catholic Church of the Keys to the Kingdom of God. They do not consider the day of Jesus’ resurrection as an important day that should be remembered every week. Nor do they consider the Coming of the Holy Spirit to the Church on a Sunday as a worthy gift to be remembered every Sunday.

Revelation 12, where God reveals how He will supernaturally protect His faithful servants during the coming Great Tribulation. Who are these people God will protect? A vital key to their identity is given in verse 17: "And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." The inspired Apostle John also identifies God's true saints in Revelation 14:12: "Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus." Note that God's people not only have faith in Jesus, but have the very faith "of" Jesus Christ-faith to do what the Father says, even in difficult circumstances!
Many of you have assumed that "Sunday keeping" is a correct way to obey the fourth commandment. You are probably sincere in this-for that is what most of you have been taught. But you could not be more wrong! For God's true Sabbath-as observed by Jesus Christ and all of the early Apostles-is the seventh day of the week! Look it up on your calendar. Which day is the seventh day? Two grievous sins-idolatry and Sabbath-breaking-were the major reasons why God severely punished the ancient Israelites and drove them into slavery (Ezekiel 20). This same national punishment will be meted out on our peoples if we do not repent and begin to acknowledge our Creator by keeping His commandments and His true Sabbaths!
The Jesus Christ of the Bible clearly warned: "Why do you call Me 'Lord, Lord,' and not do the things which I say?" (Luke 6:46). Jesus Christ consistently taught obedience to all ten of the Ten Commandments. It was He who, as the God of the Old Testament, gave those commandments to Israel (1 Corinthians 10:4), and He did not "change His mind" later on. In the "Sermon on the Mount"-His foundational teaching of New Testament Christianity-Jesus said: "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets…. whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 5:17-19).

One thing we do is acknowledge that the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God. Not my Sabbath and not the Jewish Sabbath. Whether we keep it perfectly or not we acknowledge that no man or church can change what the Lord has blessed and hallowed. We are indeed saved by the Grace of God. But we humble ourselves and love God. And when we love God, we want to obey His Word. We don't ignore His Word. We all sin and come short of His Glory and we are saved by His Grace. That doesn't mean to disregard or disrespect His Word.
A very good video, thank you. I grew up observing the Sabbath on Saturday, and then my church broke up and I kind of wandered off into the wilderness, as it were. It took me a long time to come back to God. When I did turn back to Him, I felt really lost as to where to start, and I asked myself what the one main thing I could do that would be the first step in that direction. I concluded that it was observing the Sabbath again, and so I did just that. It took me some studying to prove to myself both that the Sabbath was still something God wanted me to observe, and also that it is on the 7th day and therefore on Saturday. I commend you for making this video.
For those who wonder whether or not the Sabbath only applies to Israel, in addition to the verse mentioned in this video at 10:31 which is Ephesians 2:11-13,19, you might also read through Romans, especially beginning in Romans 9 where Paul talks about God's covenant with Israel, and that despite Israel rejecting Christ, Israel's rejection made possible the calling of the Gentiles through Christ. In Roman 11 Pauls begins to talk about the grafting in of the Gentiles into the nation of Israel, and posits a gentile saying "Branches were broken off so that I may be grafted in", and then replies "Well said!" (Romans 11:19 Lexham translation). Interestingly, the grafting into Israel of gentile nations was nothing new - read through the book of Ruth, a gentile who was grafted into Israel with the guidance of her mother-in-law.
God's original intention with the nation of Israel (God's chosen nation because of Abraham's faith and the blessings God bestowed on him because of his faith) was to graft all of the nations of the world into Israel and therefore into God's family. Israel couldn't hack it, as we all know, and therefore Christ became the portal through which not only would the original promises God made to Israel be fulfilled, but also that all nations would graft into Israel and be in the Kingdom of God. If you accept God's word and Christ's sacrifice and are baptized, you are every bit as much an Israelite in God's eyes, as Judah or Levi or Rueben, etc.
Thats why the Sabbath is so important. We get to join in and be in God's rest once a week, in commemoration of what came and what is to come. Great video again, thank you for making it.

When you are accustomed to, "getting things done" on Saturday, it is really hard to just rest. I desperately need money for bills, for gas, to care for my family. But once I explained sabbath to my children, they said, "we need to obey Sabbath." So hard. Today is the first time and it is harder than you think for those of us who were taught to"be industrious." But recall in Esther that one of the contentions Hamon had against the Jews was refusing to work one day a week. It is a sin of Babylon.

Catholics worship on Sunday and every other day of the week. The main point SDA claims is Worship should be on Saturday. This fails miserably as we see in the bible a number of references where the followers met and worshiped (also "held a collection") on Sunday - they went to the Synagogue on Saturday to convert and spread the Word. ... Acts 20:7 and 1 Corinthians 16:1-2 let's us know they got together to teach the word. Even, when not being around Paul they would have to do the things the church would still have to do... These 2 verses let's us know they did church gatherings on the first day.

It all depends on which day you start counting.
The Resurrection of our Lord was on Sunday the day after the Sabbath. It was the most important day in the history of Christ. Therefore the new week starts on Monday. We chose the day of the Resurrection to be the day of going to church and the day of rest.

Like some of the people who have commented here. I also do mostly self study of the Bible and I am so grateful to the Lord for opening my heart and my eyes everytime I read His word. This one I definitely cannot ignore because Jesus keeps leading me to His teaching about the sabbath. It is a personal decision for me and I hope to be part of a group that have made this decision on their own after knowing what the scripture says. It is about time we give the sabbath back to the Lord our God and Creator through Jesus Christ His son. Amen.

I totally agree on this one. There are not only 10 commandments, there are 613 that you would need to follow if you decide to go that route. But God knew that we wouldn't be able to keep all because if you break one you are just as good as someone who doesn't believe. So that is why Jesus Christ came and died for our sins, signifying the end of the "Old Covenant" and the beginning of the "New Covenant". This is where the ideas of Grace and salvation come in. You can't do both the rules and grace and salvation because there was no grace in the "Old Covenant". With that being said it doesn't mean we completely disregard the old testiment because the old testiment is the foreshadowing of the new testiment. I'm not forcing any of these things down your throats but I just thought it would be beneficial to let people know what I have learnt, those who want to listen and dig deeper to get the full understanding can do so but if you don't agree it's okay not everyone will

The Sabbath Law was for the JEWS/Israel -- it was a SIGN that God SANCTIFIED Israel - see Exodus 31:13-17. The NT Believers are SANCTIFIED by Jesus (1Corinth 6:11, Hebrews 10:10) and our SIGN is the indwelling of the Holy Spirit (1Corinth 14:2, 22, Acts 10:44-46, Acts 19:1-6). *The Law Contract written in STONE (including the Sabbath Law) has been replaced by the more glorious Faith Contract of Messiah Jesus* -- see 2Corinth 3:3-11, Romans 8:1-3, Romans 10:2-4, Romans 3:28, Galatians 3:19-26, etc.

He clearly says time and again, throughout the word, that his word is eternal! And of course that includes Yeshua's word because he is the word! One thing is certain, we are in the clear if we obey! It makes no sense to pick about his word by means of doubt! It is not our word that is the source of all creation! I'm not Roman Catholic and I believe the whole Bible. So I'm keeping the 7th Day Sabbath that God sanctified and hallowed. It will come down to true followers/worshippers vs the false ones, just like Daniel & Revelation prophesied. We're in deceptive times my brothers and sisters. Love this! The Holy Spirit laid it on my heart earlier this year that Sunday was not God's Sabbath. I had known for decades that Constantine and the Papacy were behind changing the Sabbath to Sunday but here in my tiny Alaskan town all of the Protestant church services are held on Sunday. With the continued leading of the Holy Spirit I stopped going to church on Sunday and began honoring the Sabbath at home. I now more like-minded Christians have joined me and we worship together, with all of us participating, every Sabbath. I still go to Wednesday night Bible study at my old church and volunteer at their thrift store once a week.
Update: I deleted and reposted this. I read every reply to my original post; several of which were ignorant and hateful. Rather than answer everyone individually, from here on out, I'd humbly ask anyone who disagrees with the 4th Commandment to study the Bible and see what God has to say about the Sabbath.
This was not a decision I came to lightly. I studied the importance of the Sabbath. For. Months. Before I started honoring it (as I try to honor all ten of God's Ten Commandments). I even found a website that gave different denominational statements on the Sabbath, none of which could back up with scripture the practice of Sunday worship.
The best argument, by far, came from the Catholic church.
Before I go any farther if anyone thinks I'm basing the Catholics I'm not. I have lots of Catholic friends and relatives that I love. I'm also not basing Protestants who worship on Sunday.
The Catholic church's stance on Protestant's worshiping on Sunday is that we're all a bunch of hypocrites. Their reasoning goes like this - the Protestant Reformation was all about disavowing the authority of the Catholic Church ("authority" to do such things as to change the Ten Commandments by removing the 2nd Commandment all together and then splitting the 10th Commandment into two in order to make up for erasing one of them). The Catholic church now claims sole responsibility for changing the Sabbath to Sunday. That's where their stance that all Protestants are hypocrites comes in. The Protestant Reformationists said their highest authority was going to be God and the Bible NOT the Catholic church, and yet the majority of Protestants ignore the Sabbath in favor of worshiping on the day the Catholics say to worship.

You are speaking truth! We must follow Christ and His word at all cost. It will be a huge test of faith at the end of time. Just what is the job of the Holy Spirit? Did Jesus actually give a new commandment or was it the same old commandment being repeated? Ezekiel 36:26-27 answers both questions. A new heart also will I give you a new spirit will I put within you and I will take away to stony heart out of your flesh and I will give you an heart of flesh. Ezekiel 36:26 (Heb.10:16-17, proverbs7:2-3, Jeremiah31:33) . Nothing new here same old text from the old testament stated over and over again. And what was the Holy Spirit's job ,keep reading verse 27 of Ezekiel 36. : , and and I will put my Spirit within you causing you to walk in my statutes , and he shall keep my judgments and do them. So when you receive the holy spirit you keep the law, including a perpetual fourth commandment. The law of the Lord is perfect converting the soul and needs no changes. So what's the only thing new that Jesus told the people to do? This do you in remembrance of me... oh communion to take place of the sanctuary service because the lamb had already come. Very interesting indeed. Let's just add Hebrews four verse 8 king James version which has been changed in all the other versions: if he had given us another day he would've told us.

Let's take a look at the different translations of Hebrews 4:8 Kjv says " For if Jesus had given them rest ,then would he not afterward spoken of another day . " And verse 9 says : "There remaineth therefore a test for the people of God . " All the other versions including the new king James have changed it to some rendition of if Joshua had given them rest then God would not afterwords spoken of another day, God didn't afterwards speak of another day. God says he will not alter anything that came out of his lips. He is perfect and he doesn't make mistakes. If we move back up to verse 4 the change becomes plain . Verse four says God rested on the seventh day. Jesus rested on the seventh day after his work was done. He did not afterwords speak of another day according to the King James Version. But the changes in the other versions make it appear that he did but those changes don't make sense when you read verse four. Or when you look at Malachi 3:6 which says I am the Lord and I change not. We can depend on Him because he doesn't change . The Bible says he is the same yesterday today and forever later on in Hebrews 13:8.

I totally believe in keeping the Sabbath and try to keep it. I know I need to do better. However the churches around here don't have the revaluation of celebrating and worshipping on the Sabbath. I pray they get the revaluation, but until they do, I will keep the Sabbath alone and corporate worship on Sunday.
You can attend a Seventh day Adventist church. they keep the Sabbath. Check and see if you have one in your area.

Thank you so much for this video, I just recently listened to a video that said I should worship God on Sunday with "proof" Verses but then I immediately searched for a video that would help me make sure that Sabbath is the holy day and I feel much better now. @@mikefanofmovies when we celebrate the Resurrection each Sunday, we are in fact celebrating the beginning of the new creation. This will be the restoration of the world that began with Jesus and that will be completed when he comes again in glory. We are celebrating the fulfillment of the old creation, the first meaning of the Sabbath in the Old Testament. It makes sense then that our weekly day of worship would change from Saturday to Sunday. However, the Sabbath also had another meaning. We need to see how the Resurrection fulfills that one as well.
Sunday as the New Exodus
In a nutshell, Jesus’ Resurrection marked the new exodus because it was God’s new act of redemption for his people. Just as he saved Israel from the oppressive Egyptians in the Old Testament, so now he offers salvation to all people through the cross and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
As with the new creation, the New Testament never explicitly applies the phrase “new exodus” to Jesus’ death and resurrection, but it strongly implies it. For example, St. Paul calls Jesus “our paschal lamb” who “has been sacrificed” (1 Corinthians 5:7). The word “paschal” refers to the Passover, so St. Paul is actually calling Jesus our Passover lamb. This is significant because the Jewish feast of Passover commemorates the Exodus. In fact, the first Passover was celebrated by the Israelites right before they left Egypt, and God commanded them to repeat it year after year (Exodus 12:1-28).
By calling Jesus our Passover lamb who “has been sacrificed,” St. Paul is implying that Jesus’ death on the cross (the moment of his sacrifice) marked a new exodus. However, the Passover was just the beginning of the first exodus. The cross, then, must be just the beginning of the new exodus. In another letter, St. Paul implies that it continued in Jesus’ resurrection. He tells us that Jesus was “raised for our justification” (Romans 4:25), which means that it too was part of God’s new act of salvation and thus also part of our new exodus.

So sorry for you ... The main point SDA claims is Worship should be on Saturday. This fails miserably as we see in the bible a number of references where the followers met and worshiped (also "held a collection") on Sunday - they went to the Synagogue on Saturday to convert and spread the Word. ... Acts 20:7 and 1 Corinthians 16:1-2 let's us know they got together to teach the word. Even, when not being around Paul they would have to do the things the church would still have to do... These 2 verses let's us know they did church gatherings on the first day.

Me too back in the 70's when I was in my early 20's I got a hold of a bible, being Catholic the bible wasn't emphasized, what I saw in the bible was so different from what I was taught as a Catholic, I started to cry because I realized I had been deceived by my Catholic Church. I cried out to God to show me His truths so I could worship Him correctly and in a few days a met a woman who showed me many things from scripture, the Sabbath was the most powerful truth and God hears our heartfelt prayers for truths.

I have been following Sabbath day as a holy day which is sun down of Friday until sun down of Saturday. I realized that I was given the chance to see the truth and given that opportunity was a blessing from God. I am a Christian and raised up as a Catholic. I was baptized when I was a baby but the Bible did not say we should be baptized when we are a baby. I think I want to be baptized once I acknowledge and have consent on it. I want to be baptized but I also did not want to assume the religion of the church who will baptize me. So my faith right now is following the commandments of God, all ten of them then also doing this by work and accepting Jesus as my savior and trying my best to follow his teachings in words and action.

If anyone in the SDA church or JW's tells you that dead people know nothing and are not conscious, tell them that Paul said in Philippians that to die for a believer is "far better," And believers when they die are with Christ certainly not unconscious. The writer of Ecclesiastes got it wrong when he guessed that the dead know nothing. How valuable that God showed us in Ecclesiastes what crazy ideas a man gains when he reasons or thinks only "Under the Sun" and not from God's viewpoint.
I've been listening to your videos for a while now. Mostly I agree with all you are teaching. However this particular video grabbed me, because I have been drawn by the Spirit of the Lord for some time now about keeping the Sabbath, and although I don't keep it strictly, I find myself extremely aware every Friday evening that Sabbath is here. I find that for some months now, that I actually am resting instead of working on the Sabbath, and I'm happier for it.
Thank you for this teaching because I have felt this to be true concerning the Sabbath for sometime now, and I completely agree that as Christians we must keep the Sabbath. I hope to encourage all believers to seek God's will in this, because as I said; the Spirit of the Lord has led me to keeping it, and it's really a joy to do so.

Other Bible writers understood about the "heart of stone" that God wants to replace. Zecheriah wrote, "They made their hearts as hard as flint." (Zech 7:12) The author of Hebrews quoted Psalm 95, "Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts." (Heb 3:15;4:7)

The people who have kept the commandments also are the only ones who eat from the tree of life. It's all there in Revelation. We believe there will be people in heaven who kept sunday, but that isn't because they chose to keep that day over the Lord's day. Alot of people did not understand that truth and were deceived by the serpent of old. However Revelation is clear, that when the Mark of the Beast passes, it doesn't matter if you're rich, poor, free, a bondman etc..if you do not keep the commandments when that time comes. You receive the mark. Everyone will have a chance to choose who's side they are on. That's the whole thing. It's quite simple to me.

I really appreciate this, I've been a Christian most of my life and recently I'm dating a wonderful Honduran woman, and expecting to marry her. She goes to a 7th day Adventist church and has a love and zeal for God like I've never seen before. I went to church with her today, and even though it's a Spanish speaking church, I got alot out of it and plan on going back with her. Since I've met her it's definitely caused me to think about what I eat and about the sabbath day.

I have been keeping the Sabbath all my life, it's been a blessing and I fully concur with this content, it's Holy Spirit led. Jesus said in Matthew 24:20 "Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath." If He knew He was going to nail it on the Cross, why include the Sabbath in something that will happen post the Cross? So the Sabbath was not nailed on the Cross...and it's eternal Isaiah 66:23
This is exactly the type of stuff I deal with. People around me work on the Sabbath, and when I refuse they point out that the Sabbath is Sunday, or any day. I never argue to anyone who refuses to listen and learn the truth. I simply state I don't work on the Sabbath

1) Early Christians worshiped on Sundays.
In the Holy Bible, we read that the disciples of Jesus were plucking heads of grain and eating them on the Sabbath when such was forbidden under Jewish law. [Mt. 12:1-8; Mk. 2:24-26; Lk. 6:1-5] “Now that day was a Sabbath. So the Jews said to the man who had been cured, ‘It is the Sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your mat.’ But he answered them, ‘The man who made me well said to me, ‘Take up your matt and walk.’” [John 5:10-11]
From the above passages, we see that Jesus did not set strict restrictions regarding the Sabbath. In fact, Jesus proclaimed Himself as the Lord of the Sabbath. “Then He (Jesus) said to them, ‘The Son of Man (Jesus) is lord of the Sabbath.” [Lk. 6:5] Therefore, it is up to Jesus to determine what can and what cannot be done on the Sabbath.
Elsewhere in the Holy Bible, we read that Saint Paul informed the Colossians that they should not be disturbed by those who condemn them for observing the Sabbath. “Therefore do not let anyone condemn you in matters of food and drink, or of observing festivals, new moons, or Sabbaths.” [Colossians 2:16-17]
Why did he inform the Colossians not to be disturbed because of their worship on Sundays? It is because from the early days of the Church, Christian worship took place on Sundays, not on Saturday. This was implemented to recognize who the Christians were. The Jewish people worshiped on the Sabbath in the Synagogues. The Christians worshiped on Sundays in their homes, in the catacombs, any place that was convenient and safe.
2) The Catholic Church possesses the Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven.
Jesus said to Peter, “I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in Heaven.” [Matthew 16:19] Jesus gave Peter the authority to change the day of worship from Saturday to Sunday. And Peter, having been with Jesus during His ministry, and having seen the actions of Jesus on the Sabbath, did use that authority under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
3) The Resurrection was on a Sunday.
Jesus resurrected on the Sunday, not on the Saturday. Through the glorious Resurrection, Jesus elevated the Sunday as a day of importance, it having become “the Day of the Lord.” Jesus could have resurrected on the Saturday, but He chose the Sunday. Surely, this was a sign to the Apostles during the early days of the Church.
And so the early day Christians met on Sunday to worship. “On the first day of the week, when we met to break bread, Paul was holding a discussion with them: since he intended to leave the next day...” [Acts 20:7]
Did you know that the origin of the Church collection on Sunday is in the Holy Bible? “Now concerning the collection for the saints: you should follow the directions I gave to the churches of Galatia. On the first day of every week, each of you is to put aside and save whatever extra you earn, so that collections need not be taken when I come.” [1 Cor. 16:1-2]
4) Pentecost Sunday.
The Holy Spirit chose to come to the Church on the Sunday.
Therefore, those who worship on the Saturday, they do not recognize the tradition of the Church since its early days. They do not recognize Jesus’ gift to the Catholic Church of the Keys to the Kingdom of God. They do not consider the day of Jesus’ resurrection as an important day that should be remembered every week. Nor do they consider the Coming of the Holy Spirit to the Church on a Sunday as a worthy gift to be remembered every Sunday.

@@porfiriojohn5276 Interesting, don't know much about Ellen White. My church worships on the Sabbath, (sundown to sundown), and we don't eat pork. I'm in the don't work, and don't buy or sell group, but from some comments I have heard, I am thinking some don't hold to that, but I don't judge. It's basically a country type church that tries to hold to Bible beliefs before man got involved. Have a great day..

So far this Guy is one of my favorite preacher, he serve all the verses needed plus the Logic of Understanding the whole context
we have the New Testament and contemporary writings that show not only New Testament Christians worshiped on Sunday alone as they came together but contemporary writings that as Jesus rose on Sunday we are to have the Lords day on SUNDAY .. The video shows modern day Pharisees more concerned with the letter of the Law than the spirit. They are actually wrong as if you look in the New Testament you see Sunday Worship If you look at contemporary writing from Justin Martyr etc (8 at least ) you see early Christians worshiping only on Sunday. Jesus Christ is the Way the Truth and the Life Worship him alone in HIS Catholic Church

Acts 20 :7 shows Sunday worship 1 Corinthians 19:2 shows that they either [as you claim ] had their meeting/ mass on Saturday to Worship then went home and then back the next day (which could have been many miles on foot) to have a collection on Sunday OR that their day of Worship was Sunday and they had a collection on Sunday ALSO !!

@@1234poppycat but you understand in Hebrew culture the day ends when the sun goes down so they didn’t need to go home and then come back to meet they just stayed what you would call all day according to a Gregorian calendar since the Hebrew day ends when the sun goes down. Very simple and easy to understand.

I recognize the Sabbath on Saturday and all believers should do the same. Sunday worship is the Roman Catholic Church's MARK of authority and possibly will play it's part when the MARK of the beast comes.
Sunday worship is the mark of the beast. Sabbath worship is the mark of God. Pretty simple.
Saturday worship is one of Gods commandments. The Holy Spirit is the seal of God.
But yes Sunday worship is part of the mark of beast.

;-) Those that use the Roman calendar follow the beast. The calendar used in the scriotures is not the Roman one. If you are using the Roman calendar to know His appointed times, you are one of the daughters. Same calendar. Just a different day.
We have started a new Apostolic Christian fellowship in Northern New Hampshire(Coos County).
After much study of the Scriptures and a prompting of the Holy Spirit we will be now holding our main service on the Sabbath; Saturday and no longer a Sunday.
This video will help as we explain this change to anyone new who comes into our fellowship.
