So much here: I’m an empath that has been closely tied to narcissist(s). It’s hard for me to hear but very true that true validation comes from within and not from just telling my story to anyone who’ll listen. I’m definitely on that journey. I’m an empath that has been closely tied to narcissist(s). It’s hard for me to hear but very true that true validation comes from within and not from just telling my story to anyone who’ll listen. I’m definitely on that journey. It’s especially hard I think because the emotional abuse was and is still ignored by a lot of people. In my adult life, I’ve felt that desperate need to have others validate my experiences and truths from all the crazymaking, manipulation, and gaslighting I experienced. On top of that, I think that when you grow up believing these untruths, it can take longer to recognize the lies, and then you go through a grieving process while trying to be strong.
The takeaway: We are brave, strong-ass women.
Thanks for promoting a message of “releasing and healing” being a journey. Hearing the message “You’ve got to release it!” (especially if you’re listening to a Spirit message from another reader who is expressing themselves very passionately) can make you feel like what you’re doing is wrong, and that’s simply false. I am from New Zealand and have been running a community gym, over COVID established an Aid Relief and found I am passionate about helping spiritually vulnerable find them selves... Pile #1 I’ve been a nurse for more than two years and even before Covid I felt burnt out. I recently left my job and realized that I’m so sensitive to frequency and energy. I really would dread waking up to go to work. I’m being still as you mentioned to hopefully find what it is I want to do.
