Toussaint made me feel like I am at home... idk why. It is my favourite place in the whole game. I wish I could live there irl and spend the rest if my life there.

I love Toussaint . It is basically a combination of all the big three known European Mediterranean coutries together,Italy,Greeece and Spain and also Southern France like some people say. The envirroment is also Mediterranean-like and relaxing. I would really love to live there.
I think it's primarily Provence, but also Ligury and a bit of Tuscany. The lakes sights remind me of Switzerland as well, but maybe i'm just stretchin' it a little.
I was shocked when I first arrived there, it was so beautiful I actually wanted to see it in real life. To this day, I still remember the final moments I had before I finished the game, it was the best and saddest moment to let it go and close off all the adventures I did. Sometimes, when I want to relax and want to see some beautiful scenes, I just open the game and wander. The sunset is so beautiful
That DLC was a HUGE old school expansion. And from EA and BioWare to 2K and Ubisoft, every other greedy miser would had sold it as The Witcher 4. So, THANK YOU CD PROJEKT RED for respecting me as a loyal customer! As long as I live I shall buy every single game you aver release!
You could keep naming developers as well, literally no other dev company today is willing and able to put out such quality and quantity. BaW was 5O hours for me, and the replay value was so fucking high because of the non-linear quest design.
By the way, Blood and Wine also reminds me of AC Brotherhood: by setting, possibility to own your villa, fortresses you can capture by killing their captains. Amazing DLC, for me it was better than the Wild Hunt.

Oblivion had a lot of heart and soul but imo skyrim feels really bland to me and so did fallout 4. I don't really have much faith in Bethesda anymore tbh it seems like they care much more about money than putting passion into their games.

Beautiful ^^ I have a special emotional bond with Toussaint, when I was a child and up to the age of thirteen we had a rustic, old-fashioned Ancient holiday home in the Italian part of Switzerland in Ticino, below the Alps. For me, Mount Gorgon represent the Alps. And Toussaint is Ticino "Italian terrain". Toussaint is a mix of northern Italy and southern France in Summertime, just with a bit more Fairytale Atmosphere in it. and this music to it is breathtaking. Toussaint has an Old World feel to it, having been inspired by the south of France and the Piedmont region of Italy. Unlike the other regions in The Witcher 3.
Imho its not that good, movement is clunky the combat is terrible i gave it a 7.5 out of 10 because i enjoyed the story. Most overrated game of all time.
The soundtrack and the story is what breathes life into this world. A lot of the other things are excellent but it's the music and story that make it special.
I don't have any experience with the games, but I've read the books. That world is so full of monsters, tragedy, corruption. Betrayal, murderings and deaths. Many awful things and still... This world is so beautiful and invitating too. You can even feel the air, just through this youtube video.
This place hits different 5 years later from first venturing into Toussaint. The beauty and just the curiosity of everywhere is just so incredible. I hope we get more lore on Toussaint and the further south places.

Trivia of the day, the grass in the middle of the dirt roads are more of a modern thing with self powered cars, horse drawn cars would have the horse tread on the soil in the center making it hard for grass to grow there as well.
Toussaint and Skellige are my favorite places in the game. They both have beautiful landscapes and rich culture. But Toussaint has to be my favorite. It straight up looks like a fairy tale land and reminds me of the Disney princess movies I grew up watching. Also about other fantasy movies like lotr. This map is just too beautiful with those bright colored villages and beautiful city. Unlike Velen and novigrad where most of the people look miserable. So glad Geralt gets to retire in Toussaint

I completed it on PC first than bought it with expansions on Xone... I was very surprised when i heard the song and thought my brain played a trick on me.
The Witcher 3 did a fantastic job in making many of its environments feel or seem alot bigger than they actually are and there's usally no shortage of vantage points to take it all in, get a real feast full for the eyes with all the colors, patterns, contrasts and pleasant compositions of forests, towns, rivers, hamlets, landscapes and castles!

This is absolutely beautiful. Not a surprise that it's so popular. That live-action show is nowhere to that honestly, and actually, it never will. Sad that I could never have a machine strong enough to run that game. But actually, it's just looks so fantastic that I wouldn't even care about the plot. I would just explore the land and enjoy the atmosphere.
No,i did spend a lot of time doing random parkour and exploring, a lot of the games problems is the poor AI, if ur playing on a high specs PC the city layout and infrastructure is beautifully designed. It’s an aesthetically pleasing game if a bit empty in terms of what u can do in the city.

Both of them are great in their own ways. Velen is the most climatic and immersive, Touisaint is the most beautiful and unique.
