It’s pretty rich of Sahil to comment on Abbas’s career, given that Sahil is only in comedy because people are too kind to tell him his humor belongs in primary school. I’ve never heard anyone who was this terrible a waste of airtime. An hour long episode with just silence is 10x better than Sahils “comedy”. Get real gusts and not just excuses to test the microphone.

As a sole film, Hera Pheri definitely is better than its successor..It has a great screenplay, we get introduced to these characters and the soul is present... But for me personally as bizarre Phir Hera Pheri is, its comedy for me is heads and shoulders above its predecessor!! It is a very uneven film, Songs pop out of nowhere.. They simply didn't have an ending it just ends abruptly..So yeah my 2 cents on the discussion..
So surprising that Abbas and Urjita were almost defending the racist ableist jokes in the movie when their whole thing is about asking if things has aged well - what could have aged less well???

Guys this movie hasn't aged well according to me, AAA is unmatched and so is Hera pheri. I guess Sahil has some memories with the movie while growing up so I won't say anything against it. But if someone hates AAA then I guess it's over right there.

i agree with abbas because in terms of the emotional arcs for the characters, Hera Pheri is a stronger film. The story, the screenplay, the characters are so well-written. It has meaningful moments and you form a genuine connection with the characters. The sequel is just...jokes. At the end, it boils down to what you prefer. For pure comedy fans, maybe the sequel is more enjoyable, but as a cohesive film, Hera Phera is superior.

While this film is funny, one thing I feel that it severely lacks is the repeat value of the first. the first one still is quite funny on rewatches, this film fails to capture that because it repeats some of the same gags from the first. One more thing is this film has too many characters which takes away focus from the main trio and the film largely goes downhill after the large cast of characters is introduced.

There is no doubt that it’s a generational thing plus a question of when you watched Andaz Apna Apna the first time and if you appreciated comedy of that type back in the day - but that’s absolutely true for Phir Hera Pheri too.

Sahil shah is unfunny even though i have tried a lot to like him coz of his presence in someone else’s show like KumarVarun etc but today when he criticised AAA I feel vindicated….. both Sahil and Urjita are poor comedians we know why now.

Andaz Apna Apna discussion has led me to unsubscribe...Ok this is the most pretentious bullshit I've come across on the Internet. I used to recommend this podcast cause I thought it was common folk who love movies discussing movies.

Not the best movie-guest combo for the 100th episode. Gunda with Sahil would have been awesome for 100th episode. Or some B grade movie. Also Phir Hera Pheri is not a iconic movie could have done something better.
Not a likeable episode, too much wrong things happenning in this episode, such a shitty take on a wonderful movie. No one talking about so many good things in movies and nuanced stuffs also why shit on other mvoies. Dumb Sahil with Dumber Urjita, just accepting everything on what sahil tells🙏. I agree comedy is subjective but story bhi koi cheez hota hai, Hera Pheri has better story and Andaz Apna Apna too has better sotry than Phir Hera Pheri
