I know im like 2 years late but I just got ash and wanted to see if there was anything about him I didn't know which there was a lot and this is one of the most detailed guides I've ever seen before thank you
There is some new information revealed from people doing testing, and things like Pressure Point, Covert lethality, and elemental mods do in fact affect damage. Things like Innodems' finisher damage from the passive also apply. That being said, the base damage of the weapon also matters. As this is new information, it is not on the wiki, but very easily testable. So yes, I was wrong in the video. This guide will be updated soon, hopefully. Bear in mind that all the bonus damage is not actually shown in the tooltip, nor is it shown when the target takes damage. The direct hit of bladestorm is affected by mods and doesn’t show the number. It happens behind a curtain that we cannot see through, but I promise the damage is there and watching an enemy die with and without said mods shows the proof regardless of the numbers.
Alright Enjoying this video so far, and can't wait for the Update. I can say right now with Assurance. Terrify is for sure replacing Shuriken, full strip no augment, leaves a free mod slot. To be honest, I really haven't played with Ash. I've I've been on 7 years and some change and there's so many Frames that I've barely touched. Also Frames that I've leveled to 30 and Never Touched again. So I'm Binging you're "Complete Guide" Playlist.
20:00 according to the wiki: Animation speed is affected by attack speed mods (e.g. Mod TT 20px.png Fury) up to the Finisher cap of +50% Wouldn't that then mean that a primed fury mod (+55% melee speed) would be enough to reach the attack speed cap? or does the "Finisher cap of 50%" and melee attack speed are not exactly the same thing?
I’m actually not sure. I have not tested if the cap is applicable to this. Maximizing beyond a potential cap is not hard though since most mods don’t affect bladestorm. Unless you plan to use your melee it doesn’t matter much. I honestly can’t stand the position melee is at right now so I didn’t bother.
Been wanting to give Ash a go for a while, gonna try out the Bladestorm build, great video. Worth mentioning that the covert lethality mod doesn't effect blade storm, other than the 16 initial combo count. I have a Balla finisher damage/ attack speed,/ range riven and the finisher damage on it doesn't work either. Shame.
Indeed I mention at 7:27 that they don't do anything. It is a shame. Could be interesting to have the clones have an exalted weapon of their own in the future. Unfortunately there are so many other frames that need much more help than Ash does, so it could be a while before we get a feature like this.
@@LucidWolf Oh have a question. Any particular reason u removed his 3 and not his 1 for silence? His 1 seems useless for high lvl stuff without the augment
@@MrPing1000 at 16:45 I touch on it briefly. Sometimes in longer missions you don’t need Rising Storm, so Seeking Shuriken can be used in place of it in case you encounter a target that’s a bit more tanky and or resists bladestorm in some way. Really it just comes down to personal preference, but in my experience I’ve never had to hit teleport for almost any reason. Shurikens, at least I can spam it in low level missions and still be killing things through walls and stuff. Teleport really doesn’t do much.
Fatal Teleport are funny to play, and i guess you got it wrong. The finisher actually depends on weapon. For example, with Nikana (people use it for regular melee fight) its single strong hit/slash/poke, with Venka (people use it because of x13) its tripple hit, two weak poke or slash and one big poke with both claws (long animation, probably more dmg), with daggers (most people prefer it) its just slicing their throat. That build actually puts you more into the middle of the battle, so players go with ultimatum and rolling guard or adaptation. He is not a tank, but can be solid semi tank. While Bladestorm does true damage, with Fatal Teleport you can get 5m damage easily, its a single target, so Shuriken that strip armor then make sense, you do not need duration or even range for this, you just go from target to target, guard rolling, jumping around manually from target to target, collecting loot. You can connect it with some duration for invis, and range for Silence and Marked for Death, you mark one, jump on him for cheap, he die from eg. 20m dmg, all enemies around him based on range die from 25m dmg instantly and for cheap, or Warcry augment with small duration do basically double your armor. OFC you can always join bladestorm, but do it while sliding, because when you slide, only one melee action is possible, quick slash, it will skip long combo animations. Also more people are avoiding augment for bladestorm and are not interested in combo duration or how fast it can grow, because there is like naramon i think that will take forever for combo to decay, its like never decay option on mission.
Also bladestorm dmg and kills does not appear in end stats, you can kill everyone with bladestorm, and your stats will be 0 dmg, 0 kills, making you look online like a leech player who are just standing, camping, watching around and chilling. So yeah, teleporting are more fun to play, and it supports melee mods, you can always pull horizontal line with bladestorm to get protection or invis, even if its just for the stagger effect.
Situational, but first thing that comes to mind is guns. If your clones are out, you can continue doing damage while you wait. If you happen to find a more tanky enemy that isn’t even marked you can tag em with armor strip and unload into them.
This is an opinion some ppl won`t like but I'll say it anyway. Ash needs a revisit and it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, stats and ppl`s actions proves he needs one. I say Ash needs a revisit and ppl say "he`s perfect" and get upset with me but he`s not, Ash has issues most ppl don`t know about. The reason being because; People use two of his augments 24/7 to the point where they completely ignore the issues of the abilities and act like they are ok. The way people use him and talk about him ("oh he can use seeking shuriken to strip armour and can kill lvl 100+ with bs) they can`t see his issues in a general sense. If you are openminded and want to see the facts along with a revisit that makes him 10x better than he is/was I have put up a post on the warframe forums called THE TRUTH ABOUT ASH take a look and tell me what you think ON THE POST.
Ash definitely needs a visit but at this point I don’t open up about it because I’m afraid they’ll make him worse. He’s my most used frame on Xbox and PC and that can very easily change if he’s changed in the wrong way. But yeah, I agree, his abilities need some help. In the same sense, there are far worse frames than Ash that need more than he does.
@@LucidWolf I agree however DE has proven they don`t give a frig about what frame gets what first. Dispite all the frame ppl want improved why did DE look at? Nidus, Nidus of all frames, so as long DE don`t care I don`t. Take a look at the post and tell me what you think ON THE POST.

@@LucidWolf 15% is indeed pretty bad IF you don't use bladestorm all that much.
