Isnt this the crankshaft sensor not the cam shaft sensor. The crank shaft is ine piece and the cam shaft might have a wire sticking out of it. If the crankshaft on a 08 3.8l pacifica a 10mm is needed and you can do it with a small extension and swivel stubby ratchet without removing anything its really simple.
Any advice if the sensor broke off in the housing? My sensor was frozen in the housing and while I tried twisting and pulling this sensor out, the whole top portion of the sensor broke off flush with the housing. As you know, there is hardly any room to work, top or bottom. The initial idea was to somehow work a wood or lag screw down into the sensor, but that is dang near impossible in such a tight space.'
