27:29 Talking about the windmill design, this is what’s called a trestle mill. The body of the mill is covered my a lightweight outer shell, and the entire structure is allowed to rotate to optimally catch the wind. This was how early mills in Northern Europe were constructed, as wind directions there are quite variable.
yes, i was coming here to mention this!
This is ONE dude!?! 😲 Dubs Tea Eff!! That is amazing! Already a kick-ass game, but one guy doing this is unreal. There is no way I'm not buying this game now!
THERE IS A FIRST PERSON MODE??? thats awesome lol. the dev should be really proud of his work.
I believe there is a sheep farmer building, maybe that's what you need for the sheep issue?
Yup, we’ll get that later. Growing the sheep population before that is fine. Would like them to have more to do when I do get them.
I love the hour long videos your voice is very relaxing
Hey Charlie, having watched multiple playthroughs skill points applied to trade is super effective. Rather than setting up supply chains for farming, importing barley and setting up a tavern as well as selling armour, bows are very profitable! Tip is you need multiple breweries for one tavern.
27:20 Very interesting tipe of wind mill
Also you can set a construction reserve on the planks (in the plank building) so you always have a certain amount of logs.
Hey not sure you knew this but the eye near your kings pic on the upper right allows you to physically walk through your kingdom. It’s kinda dope.
Did you watch this video?
Ty for showing off the game, it looks like a cool game.
💓💓💓 love this video, also hit your like button and if i see a game being played, that i like I watch several of my favorites if they play that game, ,i have my favorites who i watch and you are one of them. love your giggle and love have you always are so chipper! thank you for sharing this truly beautiful game! ( i do a lot of typos im half blind so excuse the miss spelled words.... )
I have been watching this new series! Excellent!!! Your build is very good only a few things I would have do differently but overall awesome job and excellent to watch gameplay!
Cool, thanks!
Thank you for the upload! Great vid
i still play banished, and im loving this game so far. once i got enough money for a new computer, i'll make sure to buy this game also.
The development you did on Charlestown looks like a peace sign on the map ✌️✌️✌️
Game wasn't anywhere near on my radar but it's quickly become absolutely my most anticipated game right now.
It’s looking pretty good so far ;)
I dont know if you seen my comment on the first one of these but, did you know you can actually walk through your town and see things up close? Was watching Game Edged and he was walking through his village. It is really nice for you to go and visit your towns! I love this game and love how you play. Maybe say hello to my your townspeople once in a while. You can actually walk up to the stalls and see whats inside with your character. All though you don't see your face. Just your back but still it's something I haven't seen in top down builders like this.
Just click the eyeball on your characters picture. Hope it helps.
Did you… watch this video?
@@CharliePryor have watched all of them so far sir! thank you for replying back to me, :)
Another good button to hold is TAB button ;)
please add another episode for today. this game is really amazing. or just steam live. c'ant wait...
thank you for sharing. love your work.
2 channel vids per day. Has to be this way, otherwise I’ll not keep up with my own schedule.
If you want more than that, become a member. ;)
@@CharliePryor definitely i will subscribe when it's available in Morocco. Thank you for your response.
Something I've found out, not sure if it helps, but it has do with the field sizes.
So for future reference and planning, 1 Morgen is equivalent to 0.8 hectares.
1 Morgen is closely equivalent to 2 acres.
Maybe that can help with sizing your fields and tracking productivity per acre or per Morgen maybe.
I'm simply playing this game vicariously through you. 😆 April 26th can't come soon enough.
@Charlie Pryor W&R does the same in their gameplay map showing your development also.
Yup!
There is a trading station/pack mule to move items via trading and between settlements. That's where your mules are supposed to go.
Just finished the video...
All games with one dev are the best in my opinion as they have no other distractions or "needs". They just do what they have thought of.
It's like authors. It's why books are better a lot of the time. One mind, one thought, one product. There are exceptions of course to the rule. But then again (off the top of the head) The Expanse book series was good until it got worse and worse. And that is because (and they will never admit this) they (the authors) were arguing where it should go. This is why generally, British TV shows are better than American, although lower in budget usually (changed in recent times), as it's only 1 or two writers, they have one vision. Rather than having 22-28 writers and you get Lost or Heroes....(even GOT got bad but thats because the two writers were good adapters from original sources rather than just scraps of thoughts/ideas)
Anyway, rambling!
Good series so far Charlie.
Frank.
ps. Probably should have just said "too many cooks in the kitchen" makes things often more complicated.
On the market situation, you could alternatively just have a small market in that corner? Or wouldn't that work?
41:00 2, 4, -6-, 8, 10 😂😂 must be the Michigan edumacation
Hahaha… WTF is wrong with me?
24.54 storehouse finished, did you upgrade the store house and not have any worker so the shops could not reach it to store there weapons and such?
You must have some millennial peasants at those houses. "Bertrand, can you run to the market to fetch me some radishes." "Awwww, mom, it's SO FAR away!" "Bertie, it's just around the corner. My cousin, Maleficent, has to walk further to bake bread at the oven every day. Now off with you." "I can't believe you're going to make me get off the couch, you ogress!"
Is this early access open to the public? And if so how do you get it?
Mule not a bug you had no space for them to go so they ran away! LOL
Not true. They literally do not show up. There is stable space built in at the livestock trader for this very purpose. You can clearly see that the office believes I have 2 Mules, despite having none. If they had ran away, it not only would have taken a bit of time to happen, but I would no longer see it listed as a surplus.
From imortal supreme leader of the people to the benevolent lord
To be fair, there was also this “incompetent coward that everyone hated which was actually a warrior on the battlefield” in between that. ;) (Norland)
@@CharliePryor i dont think he is coward, he try caculating risk just like general that lead invasion of monte cassino
also sheep breeding in pasture actually requires an item on the skill tree
Got it already
Gonna need a lot more houses if the population is gonna expand...like at least twice as many
Yes, that’s kinda how population expansion usually works. Gradually. Just as the amenities for them do.
@@CharliePryor I am aware, but it does seem a bit slow going
@@chaosknight9131 I think you'll find as this series goes on, the multitasking gets more intense, and the population growth speed is really no longer an issue.
That's fair, sorry for the nitpicking
have you tried playing soft music for the sheep? ha
hey xharlie, isnt there a rally opton that allows you to move them out of formation? Like using roads and taking the clearings to get there faster?
Charlie i meant :)
you didn't see the new policies i think there are some unlocked on the second tier.
Only policies unlocked are on T1, and only 2 of those (which I've already looked at) are unlocked.
@@CharliePryor oh, okay. thought only the ones with the locks on them were locked, my bad! Sorry i made you check
noticed mules were not set to import
They were. As I explained in the video, I stopped it when I confirmed they don’t come, and still take the money.
Is it a 1 dev game? It did start with a single dev, but I heard that he got some help after the game blew op on steam whishlists. Of course, not anywhere as big of a team as other big games.
Switch your mules to import
They were. That’s how I got 2 listed in the first place. They no longer are, because they don’t actually import. Just takes my money. I showed this.
wait, so its just 1 guy making all these games? i really like infection free zone.
This game has nothing to do with IFZ
from everything i've seen, this game is just a demo....there's not much to it. just level 3 houses,...... dawn of man, a very small game. has more content in it than i've seen from this early access.
This isn't even out for EA yet and is being made by one guy. Comparing it to a game developed and funded by a team that's been fully released for years, isn't really all that balanced. Neither is judging it by how many tiers the houses get to.
@@CharliePryor True story Farthest Frontier has been in early access for a year and they've only recently added tier 4 buildings
