Eco is too heavy for me, and it is very drying to my hair. Personally, my preference is medium-hold gels, but I follow several girlies who prefer hard-hold gels and they talk about a couple that have a similar hold to Eco and Wetline but are botanical. There are two that I hear about a lot: Eco Slay Jello Shot, and Mane Krush Kurltini. I will say that the price tag is much higher than Eco for both of them. For my styler on wash day, I use UFD Curly Magic gel with either Mousse Def or Treluxe foam on top. My hair is long also and it just has its natural shape as well. I do agree - the flaxseed eco does not hold for me. Only the argan eco and olive oil one.
@@Ty_Monia i’ve used it by itself only. i lowkey feel it may be my conditioner too. i might have to switch it up. argan oil spoiled me with defined curls so i’m hoping i get a break soon
It could also be that you have product build-up aside from product compatibility.
How do you avoid your hairstyle getting very tangled with this hairstyle?
I’ve only noticed it starting to tangle after having this style around 2 weeks. Otherwise, the curls stay nicely separated. I just keep an oil/mist in it and put it up at night. Actually, if I’m not going out I typically just keep it in a high bun.
Wow..beautiful
Thank you!! 🥰
can i use those products if i have 3c hair
The gel may be a little heavy. Maybe use a lighter hold eco or foam mousse.
I used ecostyler gel and my hair didn't curl at all
Dang…I haven’t heard that one 🥴. Guessing you are using something with a lighter hold.
@@Ty_Monia maybe 😔

When you pulled out the grocery bag I hit subscribe! So many things in this video is me....especially that 🫒 oil Eco, it's the only one my hair likes! My hair doesn't fit in the plastic caps all the time.
