FAQs-
Q: "Where is this?"
A: Our fire house is located in the town of Willow Street, just south of Lancaster City, Lancaster County Pennsylvania.
Q: "What is the spinning thing?"
A: That is called the "Roto-Ray," it is a spinning light designed to catch drivers attention.
Q: "Why is the call so far away?" or "Why does it take so long to get there?"
A: Many of our responses, or at least many of the ones that are uploaded are responding to assist other departments. Usually another firehouse can be seen or is passed by who is already on the call. We can reach the far end of our first due in West Lampeter Twp within 5 minutes, and in Providence Twp about 7.
Q: "What camera are you using?"
A: For dash cams I use a GoPro Hero 12 Black, helmet cam videos I use a FireCam 1080
When I watch your videos and I see you screaming along code 3 it’s been a long time since I’ve been able to do that. That’s one thing. I really miss be careful out there guys.
Me to. I started on a volunteer fire department, when I say volunteer, I mean no money, minimal training. I transferred to a call (part time) department next town over, got the training in needed and excelled. I landed as an engineer, driving engines because I was a natural on the pump. I could drive, pump, and manage equipment on large incidents. Plus my humor was always an ice breaker on rough calls. I miss it and still get the adrenaline rush watching these vids. Thanks.
4:30 good to see that the engineer decided to wait the extra seconds to make sure that truck pulling the camper was able to stop for you all
Love all the ride videos. Also so envious of vehicles moving over for FD, unlike riding a motor, where most people don't even notice you. Stay safe!
Beautiful city, clouds look like rain coming in.
Lancaster, CA.
Are you stating that you are in Lancaster, CA. Or do you think this was in Lancaster, CA?? 🤔🤨
It's Pennsylvania
No sidewalks or bikelanes?
Not in the country!
The roads are dangerously narrow!
It’s the USA
I love the power call
Oh yea! Another ride along! I love these videos 👨🚒🚒
How you do know the call before the tones go off that engine went out before the tones went off just asking and like the tones going off
I'd have to imagine they were on second dispatch when the recording started many companies will do an initial dispatch then second dispatch then every 2 to 3 minutes for 6 to 8 minutes they'll re-dispatch till the units due are responding
@@kartracer5g229 ok thanks
Good video 🎉 But Ik it doesn’t show rescue50 but what siren does rescue50 have 👍🏼💪🏼
Power call and federal Q siren on rescue and truck and I'm sure probably the same on the engine as well ..alot of stations use the power call and Q combo we have it on our rescue at my department as well
@@kartracer5g229 ok thanks good help 👍🏼
@@VelocityViper44 The exact powercall that the Rescue has is a PowerCall DX5. Engine 502 has a 6-Adam PowerCall and Truck 50 has a UDX7.
@@FireRescue80 thank you very much I ask bc I’ve heard it from other places and I wanted to know the siren 👍🏼
Powercall and Q siren with a added amount of airhorn🤟😮💨
