I saw some random dude on Instagram who posted a picture with a Red Strike "Crimson" Longshot. He said he got it for $20 at a thrift shop. I told a few people about his post and before you knew it, there were at least a handful of "will you sell that?" and "gimme gimme gimme" comments on his post. Poor chap. lol
I still have my original blue longstrike, and I can say that after years and years of play it has worn down in performance no. One thing I did notice that the video is that the front attachment was never mentioned, basically a barrel extension of the longstrike with a second handle and the ability to shoot one extra dark. It could be used as a sidearm but not very effectively, not sure if it was reversed plunger or not but it could have been reversed because it pooped out darts with little performance. Just wanted to acknowledge that extra detail in case it wasn't already mentioned

does anyone realise that the longshot which is sort of a sniper rifle is the first nerf blaster that used the n strike magazines. and then the centurion which is a mega sniper rifle is the first mega blaster that uses a mega mag? see a similarity there anyone?
Zen Shawn Ong but the differences between the longshot and the centurion is that the centurion sucks railroad spikes while the longshot from 2006 still is better
Hey walcom if you see this comment Id want to say keep an eye out for the nerf/mattel ultimator this is a rocket launcher style blaster that could be deemed the precursor to the titan it is shaped more like a rocket launcher than a titan. Apparently it is a unusual type of spring powered type blaster because instead of using a compressed spring mechanism it instead uses the exact opposite where it stretches its spring out and Id guess the spring it uses is a very large one. This blaster though has a lot of recoil. Youll know when its ready to fire once the priming handle stops. Dont use the iron sights you might crack your glasses if you do when you fire it because as I said it has recoil. This thing is quite rare though.

it was my first Nerf gun, got me hooked on nerf i have always wanted to mod it but never knew how and I'm to afraid to mod it. but if i was to i would cut out the bi-pod bit out and put a ruff cut in its replacement stuck in slam fire with the handle sticking down so it can be a grip, make it either semi auto-matic or put a titan tank in it and to top it off try to see if i could get it done with a really nice purple, black and crimson red and put a gloss on it all man would that be sweet. anyways love your show walcom keep up the awesome content.

Hey tactical nerf, honestly even after the release of the Modulus Longstrike, I highly doubt that there is going to be a Modulus reskin of a Longshot because too many people like it in its stock form because it is so well known for modding capability & obviously Nerf knows this and a Longshot in stock form is never going to compete with standard Modulus levels of stock performance, unless Retaliator internals are thrown in instead :/ Of course I'm ready to be proved wrong, the Longshot is a great, powerful blaster with near limitless potential, so I'd like to see what it's next rebirth will entail. I own the Elite one without the front gun handle and a yellow one in the same way but without the scope ... Until bought a rare yellow pinpoint sight for it! :))))
Any budget friendly mods/kits you'd recommend for someone looking to get their hands on a longshot? Still relatively inexperienced when it comes to modding blasters, but I'm looking to change that.
My brother had the n-strike elite when I was younger but I wasn't allowed to mess with it so I bought one last year for old times sake, in box, 100 bucks but eh, love the thing even if it isn't that powerful but might try modding it, never done it before but looks like I can try
I took apart a mega centerion bi pod, took the individual legs, and with a little cutting I shoved. them in the bi pod holes in the zombie strike longshot
