  • What a great product! Faithful transmission of guitar tone with only a slight loss of volume (I had to raise the volume 2db in the recording to match volumes).
I would recommend this for any guitarist. Thanks to Xtuga for sending it to me to check out.

Thanks for your sincere review,... I bought this unit and it does well in transmission range and latency compensation but may cable sounds way louder.

Yes, I think that’s what I was experiencing. I didn’t have the volume very loud. I thought it was a loss in treble, but I think it just drops a few dB. You could add a boost or compressor in the signal chain, and you probably wouldn’t notice much difference.

Wow, they sound great for a live gig for sure. You could probably use them in a studio too, with a little eq. It is a great time to be alive. Every cable is a giant antenna. I had an old console with a hybrid mixing setup and I would have to chase random noises until I wrapped my cable snakes with foil tape. I switched to a full digital console and haven't looked back. I hate wires more and more every day. My full time job is welding and I'm looking forward to having all wireless grinders in the near future. Great video

My house is so noisy! Glad to know foil can help. Thanks for watching!

@@justinbishopmusic I also bought a Tripp Lite 1000 watt isolation transformer that I still use to run my new set-up. The power here in Florida is dirty anywhere you go, so that really cleans it up as well. That way, you know Amy noise is coming from interference inside the room.🤙🏼

There are more than a few reviews of these and other brands having serious battery and connectivity issues after a short amount of use. Even brands triple the price. Sounds like pot luck whether or not you'll have issues. Good cables that don't get abused seem like less potential for aggravation.

Yeah, I wouldn’t head to a gig without a real cable backup. But sometimes it’s nice to roam around. We’ll see about longevity.

@@justinbishopmusic Let me know here if you can. Thanks. It would be convenient. It seems the one you reviewed here, a cheaper brand and the $100+ Nux all had some reviews saying it would auto shut down, or the battery would go dead/static. Some had issues with passive pick up compatibility. Ans some simply would not turn on after one or two uses. I know that my Godin and another guitar with an OBEL might not work. But I'd like to own a pair.

wait, you've never heard of phantom power?
wireless powered guitars have been around for decades my friends in high school used them
granted this is a very compact version , but i's not a new thing .
