As someone who struggles with an eating disorder, go on keto every couple years for 3ish months at a time (mainly for weight loss and to reset my eating habits). I take this advices every where I go and look at food a different way now. Much love 🥰
keto is NOT proven to do anything except reduce seizures in children with epilepsy under 10, not to mention being terribly unsustainable. the only way to lose weight is to just be on a calorie deficit, increase plants and decrease junk food in diet
@@Miss.Lechuza_Chusma I’ll do keto for 3ish months at a time and drop 30-35 pounds (25 male, I like to stay around 140). as a picky eater for 20 years now, this seems so manageable yet so filling! I can't pull myself to make meals, but this is something that I could make and that I also eat individually.. made me feel not so guilty for eating them in general once I seen them combined if that makes sense
I already do this, it's so easy and delicious! I usually use Jack and Annie's jackfruit nuggets, lots of protein and great taste for vegan/vegetarian/flex meals 😊
I’ve said it before but as someone who struggles with their relationship with food and being underweight I appreciate you content so much. Thank you. People who struggle with eating enough also have a problem and it’s so nice to have some content that helps us deal with that. It is a valid issue some of us struggle with.
If you struggle to get enough calories then using coconut products instead of dairy is a good way to add more. Coconut yogurt is really nice and goes with a lot of sweet and savoury dishes - the dried coconut milk powder also makes a good shelf-stable option especially if you just need it for coffee creamer for eg. Also cooking fruit before adding to smoothies etc or just snacking on it - less fibre due to the cooking process breaking it down so it's easier to eat more. Dried fruit is a good option if you need more fibre! Also snacks aimed at babies and toddlers (eg those little biscotti snacks) are generally higher calorie as babies and toddlers need more. They're also usually cheaper!
As someone who is pregnant and struggling with finding ways to add more good nutrition to my meals and praying my nausea stays away, this is genius!!! I’m definitely gonna try something like this!!!! ❤️
Oooh I love doing this but with those Buffalo morning star nuggies. Makes me think of high school. And I just pair the wrap with fruits like apples with some peanut butter or something
“Always think about what you can add to a meal, rather than what you should take away”. Extreme diets, fasting, whatever, always leads me back to bingeing at the first sign of frustration or stress. Kylie’s mantra actively reminds me to try to make things more healthy meals, even if some of the ingredients wouldn’t be traditionally seen as good for you. It’s all about creating a sustainable lifestyle
Even though I suck at folding a wrapped sandwich, I'm always looking for easy healthy options. I really dig your videos. I've never heard of Dino nuggets but I like what you did here. Thank you.

YOU MAAM ARE THE PERSON THAT SAVED MY MOM. So my mom got C-Diff from antibiotics but she stopped eating and all she wanted was good that wasn't the best for her. So I gave her(and still do allow her to) what she wanted but made her eat a protein with it. I gave her the chicken pasta just added a high fiber/green salad. Her portions have also gotten smaller cuz she's getting full from the protein but still getting the fun stuff. She's older but should still get to eat some dang ice cream w/ Carmel and whatever else when she wants. But just 1 scoop instead of an entire bowl.
Nuts and seeds are a great ice cream topping that add protein and fibre and a bunch of nutrients! I love vanilla ice cream with walnuts and honey, it's a baklava type flavour.
hey, thank you for all your tips!! i recently found your channel and its VERY refreshing. ive had some really awful experiences with dieticians in the past because im naturally heavy, even though im completely healthy, (i do dance for exercise 3 times a week, i eat a variety, my blood pressure is perfectly average, etc etc) which has been unfortunately worsened due to my parents views on their bodies that they project onto my brother and i. however your tips are genuinely very helpful and make me feel better about my eating as someone with texture issues and adhd
As a currently picky eater, I think I’m going to take your advice. I don’t like salad due the to texture, but with chicken in a wrap I think I will. I will add to my bland food!
My husband is a nugget fiend, literally his favorite food. They are great to just throw into a salad instead of literally buying it from a fast food place. Quick and filling!
Jane's Chicken strips hold a similar place in my house. Great in wraps, good with a simple baked potato and broccoli. Pantry and freezer staples for the win!
Your approach to food is truly beautiful! So many of us struggle with guilt and shame surrounding food. I have my whole life. You have this lovely way of lifting that burden. The methodology to enjoy food in a simple, healthy, guilt-free way is an incredible gift you give.
Dino nuggies are my go to comfort food. If I’m having a really crap day, you know I’m gonna have Dino nuggies that day. I’ve almost graduated from college. Dino nuggies are for everyone.

The brand she's using is pretty healthy in my opinion, especially in an air fryer. My stomach is really sensitive to breaded foods and Yummy Dino Buddies didn't trigger anything 😊
Also, having dino nuggets every once in a while isn’t going to cause problems. In fact, having treats like that can actually release dopamine and uplift your mood
Whatever brings you joy...it may not always be good for the waistline (5 dino nuggets aren't going to hurt anything in moderation) but it's good for the soul and sometimes that's what matters. Your smile says it all. I always appreciate your convenient meal suggestions and the concept of adding, not subtracting.
I love love LOVE the idea of focusing on what to ADD to meals instead of what to subtract. That’s such a healthy way to look at improving your nutrition.
I justvreally love your perspective. Disordered eating is more common than people realize, and so much of it revolves around guilt or shame in what we are eating. Thank you so much letting people know they can things they like in ways that still provide good nutrition.
Thank you! I developed a bad relationship with food over these past few months and often feel guilty whenever I eat anything processed. This teaches me how to enjoy it without that guilt.
As someone who has a ‘toddler like’ diet dude to sensory issues, I love your videos. I always felt guilty for eating “like a kid” in my twenties and you’ve really helped me see that I can still eat stuff like Dino nuggets or macaroni and cheese.
You can also use Morningstar Chickpea Patties instead of the nuggets, to make it a bit healthier and vegetarian. I make these wraps every week, really convenient for lunches.

That's such a good message, 'always remember what you can add to, not subtract from your meals.' Noted.
as a picky eater for 20 years now, this seems so manageable yet so filling!
As a person who doesn't like jackfruit, the Jack and Annie's nuggets are really good. When air fried, they kinda remind me Wendy's nuggets.
You have no idea how much “it’s about what you add to not what you subtract from” has helped with my own disordered eating. Thank you
Your advice of adding food and not subtracting has given me so much hope in my weight loss. I'm just starting out so I feel like I can do this
shredded green cabbage is my go to greens/roughage. Gently sauteed with thin, thin sliced onion is my go-to taco addition.
@@toodie535 thanks! I'll try that
I do this often!! Thank you for posting! ❤
There is something so comforting about your content. Thank you.
Why is this making me emotional 😭 thank you
As someone who is pregnant and struggling with finding ways to add more good nutrition to my meals and praying my nausea stays away, this is genius!!! I’m definitely gonna try something like this!!!! ❤️
Oooh I love doing this but with those Buffalo morning star nuggies. Makes me think of high school. And I just pair the wrap with fruits like apples with some peanut butter or something
The Buffalo nuggies are truly unmatched ❤
Jack and Annie’s for a spicy chickenless wrap
@@Haruta18 fr! I've tried all the other flavors and they just don't match up
“Always think about what you can add to a meal, rather than what you should take away”.
These words stick with me every time I see one of these videos, and always springs into my head whenever I’m cooking.
Thank you.
Dino nuggets are really good. I would encourage you to try them!
@@jasminesmith5447 Thank you. I had Alexa add some to my shopping list. One of the reasons this recipe appeals to me so much is how easy it would be to heat the Dino’s in the air fryer. I'm so glad Kylie posted this.
Reading all these comments shows how many people you’re helping, thank you ❤
YOU MAAM ARE THE PERSON THAT SAVED MY MOM.
@@newcamomile she's allergic to tree nuts 😭😭. Her problems are deep lol. I'm just tryna keep her alive at this point.
As a nutrition student, I really love how you always say, "Always remember what you can add to (not subtract from) your meals".
The only thing I would do differently is eat the Dino nuggets separately. Part of the fun is holding them before you bite them.
hey, thank you for all your tips!! i recently found your channel and its VERY refreshing. ive had some really awful experiences with dieticians in the past because im naturally heavy, even though im completely healthy, (i do dance for exercise 3 times a week, i eat a variety, my blood pressure is perfectly average, etc etc) which has been unfortunately worsened due to my parents views on their bodies that they project onto my brother and i. however your tips are genuinely very helpful and make me feel better about my eating as someone with texture issues and adhd
I love adding a couple nuggets to my salads
This is my autistic child's favorite food. I've been 'adding to" them for a long time. Countless ways to eat them really!
As a currently picky eater, I think I’m going to take your advice. I don’t like salad due the to texture, but with chicken in a wrap I think I will. I will add to my bland food!
You might find cooked veggies easier to cope with. I love homemade kale chips but don't generally like lettuce for eg.
chicken nugget wraps with veggies is so underrated. I do them all the time because it’s so much easier than grilling chicken and tastes really good
My husband is a nugget fiend, literally his favorite food. They are great to just throw into a salad instead of literally buying it from a fast food place. Quick and filling!
You are seriously the most real dietician ever. In the sense that you give actual HELPFUL tips and advice. ❤
Jane's Chicken strips hold a similar place in my house. Great in wraps, good with a simple baked potato and broccoli. Pantry and freezer staples for the win!
PICKY EATER HERE!! I loved fries as a kid. They’re literally just potatoes and salt and they would make me SO happy.
You just elevated Dino nuggets and I’m here for it 😊
Your approach to food is truly beautiful! So many of us struggle with guilt and shame surrounding food. I have my whole life. You have this lovely way of lifting that burden. The methodology to enjoy food in a simple, healthy, guilt-free way is an incredible gift you give.
Such a coincidence! Today's lunch for me was chicken strips with a packaged salad. Crispy chicken salads baby!! 🎉
Dino nuggies are my go to comfort food. If I’m having a really crap day, you know I’m gonna have Dino nuggies that day. I’ve almost graduated from college. Dino nuggies are for everyone.
I love Dino nuggies and I always get scolded by how unhealthy they are but this is such a nice way to eat them and I have to try it! Thank you for sharing 🥹💕
No shame in the nugget game
The brand she's using is pretty healthy in my opinion, especially in an air fryer. My stomach is really sensitive to breaded foods and Yummy Dino Buddies didn't trigger anything 😊
Also, having dino nuggets every once in a while isn’t going to cause problems. In fact, having treats like that can actually release dopamine and uplift your mood
She's literally so gorgeous😭
You’re the best!
I LOVE THIS! Not discouraging eating foods that you like but instead ENCOURAGING you to ADD things to keep you happy and healthy!!❤
What do you eat when you’re craving something sweet? Been trying to reduce my processed sugar intake
Fruits are always great But dark chocolate is another favourite of mine.
I love your mindset and perspective. Thank you!!!
How dare you put the dinos in a wrap! How are you supposed to make them fight and bite their heads off?!
Currently doing my Bachelor's in Nutrition & Food science.
I SOOOO wish to become a dietitian/nutritionist like you!
Amazing and full of recipes that are easy to achieve, diverse and TASTY.
I was a picky eater too. But I only wanted the grown up food, not the kid friendly stuff. I was a weird kid 😅
I just at a dino salad rap and then the first video I seen when I opened yt shorts was this, the exact timing is wild
I love it! You are so practical and your recipe is easy.
You are so real and a reflection of actual people. Thank you.
I usually eat nuggies with salsa. Vegetables, protein, and cuteness!
Omg makes so much sense, Same girl same. I’m 25, and I do this too no shame in bringing your childhood foods to help your mental health. It’s like a dopamine. It’s soothing and comforting.
I also struggled with an ED even up until recently and I am trying my best to not label food too much like healthy or unhealthy but use other adjectives to describe them so that I don’t stress myself out. Also it’s a practice I am trying to teach my kids too.
OMG THAT LOOKS SO GOOD 😲
OMG this is genius. Next time I see dino nuggies at the shop I’m buying them and making this wrap to try.
There is no doubt in my mind that you are saving lives on this channel. You saved a small part of me today just in this one video by reminding me that it is ok to eat food that makes me happy. Thank you so much
I’m so glad to see other people doing this because I struggle to eat but when I can I eat dink nuggets and salad In a wrap 😂😂
Your strategy of adding to meals instead of taking things away is super helpful and changed how I cook! I’m making box Mac and cheese rn and also cooking some veggies and sausage to add to it! Thank you!
Your nutritional advice is amazing! It takes away the guilt of preparing things that are frozen or already bagged. Love this, especially having a two year old and another baby on the way!
Your videos have helped me a lot. I'm always adding nutrition to my meals and snacks when I have some. Thanks a lot
I love your “add to” instead of “take from” mentality! It makes eating so much more fun! I love figuring out what veggies to add to my meals to make them more delicious and prettier! Veggies come in so many colors!
practical dietary solutions for an impractical world. love this.
"Why are you eating dino nugguets?"
Because I'm an adult, and I can do what ever I want.
i dont know who needs to hear this but it took me working in a grocery store to find out they make plant based dino nuggies and they are SO GOOD
My moms a doctor and she raised me realistically about nutrition and food. Sometimes I wasn't great especially in university but generally I have a wonderful relationship with food because of her. And she hates these diet guru stuff online because she thinks it's ridiculous but I showed her some of your videos and she bluntly said finally someone who gives realistic and educated advice and doesn't make people feel bad. So loved your page!
Can you do another realistic lazy meal prep with easily accessible/ common ingredients?
That looks great. I would add a homemade ranch to it!
