- For today's pick I am revisiting an old favourite from one of my favourite Deathcore bands, Suicide Silence. Debut album "The Cleansing" from 2007 sounds just as viciously original, organic and ahead of the trend today, as it did the first time I heard it many years ago. Although I would not consider myself to be a huge fan of Deathcore, this is a band and an album that I keep coming back to whenever I need a dose of relentless savagery and brutality.
What are your thoughts on The Cleansing? Not hear it? Check it out!

Keep up the good work mate.
To be honest your channel is underated and for metalhead like few of us it is a warm place like a home to check out info and review about metal songs and bands which is lacking in this era of Gen Z with dwindling number of metalhead.
Thank you for your kind words my friend, I really appreciate your support 🤘 I'm so pleased that you are able to enjoy and appreciate these reviews. As long as there are still Metalheads who enjoy them, I will keep doing them 🤘
ooo i really like the artwork on this album. gold is a colour you don't see on albums alot, especially metal albums. sorry about my absences, I haven't really found the time to watch them, but I will go back and watch the ones i have missed! thanks for another epic upload!! :)
Hello my friend and welcome back! I guess gold is quite an unusual colour for Metal album covers, as we do tend to see a lot of black, blue and grey..... haha! 🤘
I love everything about this album. In my opinion, the most influential album in the death core sub genre.
It is an incredible album and highly influential for sure! The Cleansing is my personal favourite Suicide Silence album without a doubt 🤘
About Deftones u mentioned - yes, there is a lot of music out there but Deftones are something unique & special, no guarantee you'll like'em but they're such an important part of metal and music scene of our time
I will have to make a special effort to actually give Deftones a try then. Are there any albums that you would recommend as a good starting point? 🤘
@@nononsensemetalreviews it's ongoing debate between Deftones fans about which albums is the best but you should start with the early bangers "Around The Fur" and the beloved "White Pony"
@Count_Deangeli thank you for the recommendations, I will start with those 🤘
