Tsitsipas has one of the most simple forehand swings of any pro. I always point to him when people believe they need to do all crazy stuff to generate power. Stay loose (particular keep the arm loose), transition your weight, hit the ball in front of your body. Follow the base principles is all you need.
@@GreySox Berretini actually has the semi-western version of Tistsipas’ forehand. They both close the racquet but initiate the foreword motion by dramatically opening the face until contact whereas other straight elbows only allow it to fully open basically at the moment of contact like Fed and Nadal. Del Po on the other hand barely closes his racquet if at all.
Fantastic work, thank you. This gives you a closer view of how the balls move in addition to a better lighting than the footage made by Let‘s Play Tennis (which was taken from the other side facing the sun). I appreciate an extremely good work from both of you. It‘s an act of courtesy for the tennis public.
Thanks. Don't care about being best channel or anything like that. Other great channels out there. Just taking these amateurish vids just for fun as a tennis fan like all of us. I think this particular video is one of my favorite videos I've shot aesthetically this year just in terms of how it looks on video, which I was not expecting given that people were pulling and pushing on the fence making it difficult to get a clean shot. Still have to post my Rafa/Tsitsipas video that I mentioned to you, but got lots of videos to sift thru and edit/post. There are other vids from other people I've seen of that Rafa/Stefanos practice session that you can watch in the meantime.
Don’t really care for Tsitsipas on a personal level, since he comports himself in a questionable manner, however on a professional level he’s got quite the game. One of my favorites along with Alcaraz. Great talents. Thanks for the upload. Great quality
well, you make it sound like he's known for having questionable manners, but that's just not true... Somebody who's badly informed might have heard a few controvertial things about like the toilet pauses and the problem he had with Medvedev (which is old news), things like that. But if you follow tennis properly, you'll know that he's had a really serious and proper behaviour for a while now. Never did crazy things and always been genuine in interviews.
@@ken2181 I was actually just going to watch a replay of his match, as I didn’t know the result. Stef’s first round defeat was no big surprise after his loss in Cincinnati. He needs a shrink I suspect.
@@brenhugh lol yepp. Poor guy. Goes to really show how extremely difficult tennis is. I mean look at Thiem for example. Few yrs ago, he was top 5. Gets injured, and now he cant even win a match. Tennis is super competitive.
He can't build muscle on his legs, it's about his style of play. He needs big shoulders, arms, but he can't adds more weight on legs, this would damage his style of play definitely on speed and movements.
@@Prince-kt7um Actually, it goes the opposite way when dealing with speed and movements. Matteo is poor at moving around the court. Look at Fed and Nadal. They have stronger lower body muscles. They're fast and more consistent.

Agree 100%
I agree. And I think eastern-forehand-grip forehands look simpler in general. (Del Potro, Fed)

He's got a budget Delpo forehand

That slice at 3:43 was so appealing on the eye
Two of the best forehands on the tour cross rallying forehand to forehand is so delightful^^ thanks
The pace on the ball was scary lol
Man this is awesome. Thanks a lot, you are the best tennis practice page on youtube🙌🙌🙌

Not to take any shine away, but Liam channel is great as well. This channel is awesome for tennis lover.
Matteo wow sei adorabile meraviglioso
Nice to see just how far Tsitsipas forehand swings inside out to contact.
THANK YOU!!!
lol matteo's oh backhand @1:07
It looked good too

Questionable manner?! Utter BS. Do you know him personally?! You know him as much as I know you.

@@NG-wx4kw bro gtfo why are you always on his dick in every comment section 😂😂
Fantastic talents, if Stef hit the slice better i believe a few Slam is not that big deal.
Out 1st rd US open 22. Yikes
That forehand rally. Jesus lord
Berretini should honestly just switch to a one-hander for good tbh.
I think Thomas Enqvist will be a great help to Stef.
As he crashes out of 1st rd US open 22. Mannn. I didnt see that comin

most likely outside the 100 next year among current top ten

Great stuff! If I were to use some of your video footage and naturally include credits and links to your site.
Is that ok with you?
beretini need to stop slicing to force his bh to be better
He's a weird case. Ive never seen some1 at this level with a two-handed backhand use the slice that much
Bunch of 4.5 mixing it up here!
Why is Tsitsipas' shirt the shape of a square?
What tripod do you use?
None.
No bathroom breaks from Tsitstipas...Interesting.
tsitsi would rather backhand a ball then slice backhand a backhand side ball.
That's most players tbh
Berretini has chicken legs
true
Hard to see a tall mf with big legs tho
