Is it wrong that I want to partially fault the two home owners for meeting and then hiring him? I’m sorry for judging a book by its cover but look at his knuckle tattoos, look at the derangement in his face, listen to the way he talks. Does he really pass the eye, smell or sound test? A seedy-looking contractor has the lowest bid and you want to throw your money at him? Yeezus.
Homeowners hire cheap because they dont want to pay. You get what you pay for. In this case, crap

fake TV show but I've seen alot of shady stuff lately and I have to say it's partially the owner's fault for not doing background checks and in some cases hiring contractors that don't even have a license.
if you hire Joe bllow plumber want to be from the bar don't expect high quality work.
My company was cut out of a retaining wall job because the client had their housekeeper's boyfriend do it for them..... about six months in court they finally got some of their money back that her boyfriend stoled and drink up at the bar.
