Ive been plumbing for ten years and i dig sewers under houses and 7 feet holes all the time....im a bad ass plumber i know all the codes when im doing the work but as far as the terminology i would have gave the same answer as the contractor plus at least hes not selling drugs or in a gang hes trying to make an honest living.................

Call it whatever you want, if you know how to use it. I worked with a Portuguese kid who when writing down measurements he would write 7/8 as "7 A's". I was concerned at first but his 7/8 is the same as mine even though he was used to the metric system. This shows kind of a joke to me anyway.

I will give him the benefit of the doubt for not knowing what that blade said on the packaging but not knowing what a self tapper is, is pretty ridiculous.
We call it a techor teck screw not sure why but only good for attaching thin metal to thin metal. jt drilllssthecorrect size hole for its threads and works no tap needed .(you need to drill and tap thicker metal attachment points. Using the right size drill bit for the tap and tapping fluid (oil or sometimes spitcan workbut only if you are experienced with the taskdone only ocasionally! If you do not know your bolt wilstrip the threads or you will break your tap!if wrong. KNOW or FIND OUT ( have a chart in your box or?

These people are a joke,I've been in the construction business for 30 years and I have meet great workers that have work with some tool that they don't know the right name for years and are masters with it ,they're nothing but bullies and some contractors frauds .
the two guys are legends in this business and just bullied the neophyte. they are gods to step and scratch the unexperienced guy and humiliate him on national tv and took away his opportunity to be good in the business world. all started with low knowledge until they learned more. what do you expect from this guy is to defend himself from these two bullies. they’re gone too much and in the end they became the low class professional. The contrator might be at fault but the approach on this segment left all happy after they pinned down one person

I'm a glazier, they laid a pan without end dams, that will get you sent packing on a job as quick as coming to work drunk. Caulking is not an end dam.
Umm I think they meant many types of grinder wheels... it’s hard to look like you know what your doing when you refer to the tools specific parts as the tool it self.... it’s almost like pointing to a car seat and asking “what kind car is this??”

What made you decide to get a contractors license to do something you were not even knowing about some of the standard tools needed to do that type of work?Most contractors worked and did well in the field they became contractors int .Not for every kind of work of course but most! IMO (and it is right so often I am surprised (sometimes annoyed but? OH Well. Stay dedicated and learn what you can from others and ?

Yes drill a hole just big enough for the threadsof awood screw toclear in the metal and use A wood screw. or lag bolt if needed and drill a pilot hole in the wood for manyor biger stuff at least.

Bro grinder I get told bring the grinder I bring a small bag whit grinder whit 6 different blades I see what job we doing I take off what ever blade is on and I know witch one to use. If you have to specified the blade you automatically don’t now what your are doing come on bro and who caries 4 grinders for different blades I have my cordless makita grinder that’s has been trough punishment for 2 years still strong and my wired just in case the one fails. If you just got your license not too long ago, this sht should still be FRESH in your mind! You would even still know the names of tools you will probably never use, never mind the most common ones! I tell you what, I'm a woman. I have no training in any sort of trade but I'm cheap and will fix everything I can myself before resorting to paying someone to do it. How can you work on someone else's home and sleep at night, not knowing what an angle grinder or self taping screws are?!?
