That speaks volumes to me today. When I feel like a failure and I let God down over and over. Just wow. This video speaks to me each time I watch it
+Iethal You just reminded me of something I thought about a few weeks ago. When we think we "let God down", we forget that even before He saved us, He already knew all the future mistakes we would make.
God isn't "surprised" by our actions. His love isn't lessened by the "new knowledge" that we still have a long way to go. For Him no knowledge is new. I love that verse, "A righteous man falleth 7 times and rises up again." Our loving Father dusts us off and aims us in the right direction again and again. He doesn't give up on us. His love never lessens or wavers. He knew us before we were born.

So weird to see this video, this is a totally true story: 20 years ago, when I was a new Christian, I was frustrated because I felt I wasn't growing in God fast enough. I was praying before going to bed one Saturday night and asking God why I was still struggling with some worldly issues and not being more like Him. I fell asleep and had a dream that night that woke me up, but didn't remember the dream the next morning.
I went to church the next morning and while singing during praise and worship, God brought the dream back to my memory. The dream was God standing next to a partially finished sculpture (me) with a hammer and chisel in his hands. He was taking his time to make sure to place the chisel in the exact spot it needed to be to make sure to remove the waste and create the masterpiece that he wanted. I felt very strongly that he wanted me to know that he was being careful to be very precise in the placement of the chisel not to ruin the sculpture. As I saw this vision in my mind, God said " A master does not create a masterpiece in one day. I have never forgotten this experience.

Man that was an amazing skit.. It brought me to tears a couple of different times. It really hit home for me personally. I am 37 years old, I have an amazing wife and a beautiful and brilliant 3 year old son. I have not been a good father or husband for quite a while now. I feel completely lost and totally useless. I'm stuck in a huge rut.. It seems as if life keeps getting harder the older I get. I want Jesus back in my life.... Jesus hasn't left your life...you just haven't drawn near to him. He's waiting on you. I know that when I am more intentional about praying, reading the Bible and talking to Jesus, I can feel him so much more. I do still struggle too though. Life is hard and we are weak. We need to keep going back and asking for forgiveness and for "his" strength to help us to grow and change to be more like him.

I don't remember how long ago I first saw this video but that night, I prayed that God would chisel me and make me my masterpiece. At first I felt just all around happier. At peace. Things were easy. I don't really know why I thought that just because things were easy that my prayers were immediately answered and I was chiseled. One of the grossest sins I have struggled with for so long became so big these past two weeks and I didn't know why. I felt awful and kept falling back into the sin. A few days ago I remembered this video and remembered how much he was fighting God throughout the whole process. It was so hard to let go and let God chisel. And it clicked. It hasn't made this process easier by any means. BUT, it does give me hope. It gives me hope that this painful process is God answering my prayers, that this will pass and I will be closer to God because of it. Now I know a lot of people will just skip over this, but I pray whoever is struggling in sin and has asked God to chisel them, that they read this and find hope and comfort in my experience. They are amazing. Their videos are so inspiring and full of faith and fun we are so lucky to have them spreading the word of the Lordand teaching God bless them
When we think we "let God down", we forget that even before He saved us, He knew in advance all of our future blow-its and sins and failures. Like John Paul Jackson said, "God doesn't suddenly realize things. " He isn't "surprised" by our actions.

What he said about we are either moving towards God or away from Him is true. I fell away for a period of time and now I am having to deepen my relationship with God. The great thing about the LORD is He is merciful to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Return to Him my brother's and sister's. It is not about the blessings, but about knowing Jesus.

Stumbled onto this today and it came at such a perfect time. I just. Felt like junk today. I have a law degree fresh from university but no training contract. I sold my beautiful car in the UK to return home to take care of my parents. I colossally ruined things between me and this lovely girl years back in high school and that still haunts me. Today I woke up, looked myself in the mirror and went "Wow. What a joke. There is nothing going for me." Then I had a fit at God about making me this way. Then I felt guilty because I made those stupid choices, not God. Then it just went back to feeling like junk because how else would I have made those choices if I wasn't junk? This video from 12 years ago was an amazing reminder. To take heart, have hope, not feel guilty and trust in his plan to mould me into His masterpiece. Thank you God for today. Eleven years this video has been out, and I didn't see it until today. I have been struggling with all of the same things this video talks about. God has always had a way, throughout my whole life, of putting just the right message in front of me at just the right time, in just the right way. I cannot count the number of times a Sunday service spoke directly to my heart. Or the number of times I've turned on a Christian radio station and heard exactly the song I needed to hear in that moment. I've finally learned that hearing God speak to us does not have to be about a thundering voice out of the heavens, it's the whispers we miss if we aren't paying attention. It's the words of a stranger, a situation that happens, could be anything. For me, today, it was this video. Thank you for posting this, I know it's over a decade old now but this will never not be relevant, and you are still being used by God to reach people even now.
I could ditto your entire comment. I only saw this today, our pastor played it for us at the end of the service. What an impact it has made in my life on this day, & on many other lives from all these comments. Truly a God-given message for us all.

Wow! Perfect timing! I am feeling overwhelmed and filled with anxiety. The small things are starting to get to me. I am feeling unsettled. I have to communicate to family about plans of moving on. Taking care of our soon to be 90 year old mom and living in a house that is in need of many repairs but my brother, the one who bought the house with me is stringing me along. Not wanting to budge but after praying to God asking to send me an advocate I feel strong in being able to have an outlet. Knowing that I am making a move for betterment of our lives it's still overwhelming. I feel peaceful at times and then boom, I get stuck. I know this change has to occur and I know it's with God's blessing. I just wish I could have had tgis settled with brother without me having to take all the extra steps. BUT, I know that this is what God wants because He has reminded me that He created me and wants me to be the strong person He created because I know He walks with me. I know I am the apple of His eyes. I tried holding on to that when I first heard it but every now and then forgot it. Thank you for this beautiful reminder. I truly appreciate it. God bless us all. It's not easy accepting the fact that we try to uphold an image more than we try to actually serve the Lord. This is a staple for me. It helps me remember who and what I am in a society that is designed to be that other than godly.
This is my absolute favorite skit from them. God was truly working through these men & their talent to show the world this message. I just love how every time he interrupts God, he doesn't get frustrated. He just says "Yes?" "Mhmm?" It just makes me smile. This one always makes me cry.
Life is good but when you have two guys like these two they bring it home. Thank you and keep it coming.

Its painful but trust and you will be blessed. TODAY - we are creating a prayer chain for someone else and not for ourselves - it is just a moment through time letting God create miracles today in your life.
..Every time that I have watched this video, it has always been at a time when I felt disconnected from God, felt like I was no longer capable of becoming the person He made me to be. And every time I've watched this, it's broken right through all the barriers that were built up, and exposed all the lies that I'd begun believing.. Tommy, Eddie, thank you for creating this skit. It has impacted me numerous times already, and likely will continue to do so. The number of lives that your actions have and will affect is innumerable. A friend sent me this video when I was feeling down and useless. I had made several countless mistakes and felt that I had failed God too many times to be forgiven. Watching this has made me feel so much better and renew my relationship with Our Heavenly Father. This video really spoke to me.
