Try lowering the temperature of the glue ( you can unplug it and wait a bit, or don't heat it up too much initially) my glue gun is very cheap and it couldn't get very hot, so it didn't burn through me

I took two days to make them because I needed good light for the video 😅 It's the longest to cut out feathers If you have someone to help you cut them out, the wings can be done pretty quickly
It might be possible to paint them with fabric paint? Fabric paint is more stretchable and stuff so maybe it would work-probably would have to test it first If you were gonna tho ur probably gonna have to paint each piece individually You can also try to dye it but that also might melt the material so just eb careful

The main thing is to have white Isolon and 2-3 mm thick, but you can make them smaller just ☺️ Or glue less feathers It's not critical Also if not enough just you can buy more material 😊

Hi, I tried this hack, but when I was going to glue it together the plastic melted because of the hot glue, why does this happened to me and not you.☹️
Maybe you have such a glue gun Try another one and there if it loosened at the bottom it's no big deal It won't show under the feathers Or try heating it up, turning it off and waiting for it to cool down a bit I had the cheapest glue gun and maybe it doesn't get that hot

@Happy_generation Not going to lie, the cutting out of the feathers probably took about 5 hours (bear in mind I added glitter glue to each one!!) , the putting it all together was quick - maybe and hour total! I ended up cutting feathers while watching a movie so didn't notice the time. Well worth the effort - they looked amazing on!

@@kyladent6302 it took me a full month (plus a week and a half) because I had SO MUCH academic requirements while making it. I didn't have much free time so I usually sacrificed my sleep for it (I actually just pass out most of the times but hey.) So yeah, if you have a lot of free time, a month would be more than enough^^
@@boo4423 I think I might have enough time then. I'm also and school and I also have a part time job right after school but my sleep schedule is already kinda messed up anyways so it won't kill me thanks for answering my question hope your cosplay turned out great if you've finished it already!

Try using some glue dedicated to polyethylene materials. I had to try 8 different glues before I found the one. 😅
