I mean, I'm french, and although the voice acting is really top notch, it's not as weird and disturbing as the english version, and makes G-man look more like a badass human than a weird and nebulous entity that calls Freeman.
Fun fact: the Korean version actually calls him "Dr.Freeman". I don't know about the other languages but at least the Korean version pays respect to Gordon Freeman's highly trained professional background.
In the English version, Gman’s end speech refers to Gordon as Doctor Freeman. I thought this was intentional, as if Gman has a newfound respect for Gordon after the stuff he pulled off, or something like that.
I only know English and Russian here, but the French version sounds absolutely fucking badass, props to the French voice actor. Sadly, the Russian localization has changed the original "smell the ashes" into a much more generic line (my backtranslation would be "great deeds once more await you"), which makes the actual message a bit less creepy. This is sad, because the Russian voice actor here is unusually good and actually rivals the original performer in places. Although due to language differences, timing of delivery and such, no localization will ever top that pause the second time he says "Rise and... [pause] shine". It's such a good moment, but moments like this don't translate easily.
my top are English, French and Spanish maybe even the Russian (that guy gave me goosebumps) , but German and shamefully my very own language Czech sounds absolutely horrible, those voice actors are just a bad choice and in czech - he even say something completely different.

Because Gman is not actually human, the voice acting needs to mimic gman having trouble to talk, as he isn't perfectly adapted to replicate human lungs. The English version does this but rather in subtle way, where other like Spanish do it maybe too much.
Spanish version sounds really good for me the best even morr if you talk and underdtand spanish,the way it talks is like I thing G-man will talk,like a crazy man.

In French, it depends on the scene. Sometimes the Gman says "Docteur Freeman", sometimes he says "Monsieur Freeman".

Why does Spanish gman sound like he is scared of his employers?
Because Gman is not actually human, the voice acting needs to mimic gman having trouble to talk, as he isn't perfectly adapted to replicate human lungs. The English version does this but rather in subtle way, where other like Spanish do it maybe too much.
Spanish version sounds really good for me the best even morr if you talk and underdtand spanish,the way it talks is like I thing G-man will talk,like a crazy man.
I'm spanish and the gman is the only one who talks good. Eli sounds like a drunk guy, Alyx sounds like the whole game is something from everyday, Mossman calls Alyx "Alex", vortigaunts also sound like drunk guys and much more but the translation itself is pretty good
